Crime Report on June 07, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 54/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 06.06.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 06.06.2017 at about 05-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Rajeev Kumar S/o Sh. Saran Dass R/o Village & PO Larot, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla apprehended by them near Larot and recovered 36 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

2. During last 24 hours 479 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 200 & fine realized Rs. 81,200/- and 56 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,900/-.

   INQUEST REPORT

1. Today an unidentified male deadbody, age about 31 years, found near Munda Jungle (Thalatr) in the jurisdiction of PS Chirgaon. The dead body is shifted to CH Sandhasu for further legal proceeding.

   FOLLOW-UP

1. Accused i) Vinyameen @ Fouji S/O Bhadar of Vill Tarshanu PO Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla HP and ii) Beer Singh S/O Goverdhan Singh Vill and PO Serpur Tehsil Vikas Nagar Distt Dehradun Uttrakhand, age about 32 years, arrested in Case FIR No 25/17 Dt 02.06.17 U/S 363, 366 (A), 372, 376, 506 IPC & 4 POCSO Act at PS Nerwa, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
