A CHEATING: Case FIR No 97/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 01.06.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Thakur Singh S/o Sh. Chhering Dandup R/o Vill. Lio Tehsil Hangrang Distt. Kinnaur HP stated therein that in the year 2011, he made fix deposit in Umeed Co-Operation Producer Company Ltd. at Khopri Rampur. After the maturity of above fixed deposite amount, Sh. Praveen Kumar, MD of above Company, has not returned his money back till today and cheated with him. The case is being investigating by ASI Hoshiyar Singh I/S PP City Rampur
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 99/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 02.06.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Aman S/o Sh Sena Ram R/o Village & PO Munish Bahali, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that during the midnight of 1/2.06.2017 at about 12.15 AM, he was going towards Tacklech along with Ravi and Guman in Tipper No HP-06A-2979. At about 02-00 AM, above Tipper met with an accident near Chaldi Dhank due to rash & negligent driving of Guman Singh and rolled down into ditch. In this accident, they all sustained injuries.
During last 24 hours 276 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 139 & fine realized Rs. 55,500/- and 34 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,400/-.
