Crime Report on March 30, 2017

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 64/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 29.03.2017 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Raffi Mohd., I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 29.03.2017 at about 05-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Anuj Khimta S/o Lt. Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Baghal, PO Galeha, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla age 34 years intercepted by them at Chamain and recovered 11 Tablets of Nitrosum R-10 (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Raffi Mohd., I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla.

2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 58/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 29.03.2017 at about 09-25 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff near CPRI Colony, one person namely Jeet Ram S/o SH. Anant Ram R/o Old Beer khana, near CPRI Kanlog, Shimla age 58 years apprehended by them with 12 bottles of illicit English liquor marka Royal Stag. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Shimla East.

3. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 65/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 30.03.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that today on 30.03.2017 at about 02-00 PM, during patrolling along with staff three persons namely Prakash Chauhan, Gulab and Ashok Kumar apprehended by them during playing gambling  in public place at Kokunala and Recovered Rs. 3,700/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 60/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 30.03.2017 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Krishan Chand R/o Village Jarona, PO Kingal, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla, age 39 years alleging therein that today on 30.03.2017, he alongwith his friend Sanjeev was coming to Shimla in vehicle No. HP-06A-6221. At about 10-30 AM, when they reached near Bharmati, at the same time a LP Truck No. HP-12D-5546  driven by Rakesh S/o Sh. Karm Chand R/o Kothi Devra, Distt. Solan, came rashly from Fagu side and hit his vehicle and run away from the spot towards Theog. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh, I/O PP Fagu.

5. During last 24 hours  412 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 165 & fine realized Rs. 54,000/- and 49 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,000/-.

Mauji Ram R/o Vilage Bapil, PO Shrikyari, Tehsil Shillai, Distt. Sirmaur, age 26 years, vii) Madan Singh S/o Sh. Surat Singh R/o Village Gudvi, PO Hala, Tehsil Shillai, Distt. Sirmaur, age 25 years  viii) Siya Ram S/o Sh. Khajjan Singh R/o Village Bhatwad, PO Koti Utro, Tehsil Shillai, Distt. Sirmaur, age 29 years and ix)  Vikrant @ Vicky S/o Sh. Kedar Singh R/o Village Drabal, Tehsil Shillai, Distt. Sirmaur, age 27 years,   have been arrested in case FIR No 59/17 on 25.03.2017 U/S 147, 148, 149, 506, 323 IPC at PS Sadar, today remanded in Judicial custody upto 12.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

2. Accused i) Rinku S/o Sh Krishan Singh R/o Kanda Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla & ii) Sahil Sain S/o Sh. Dalbeer Singh R/o village Giora, Tehsil & PS Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, age 26, arrested in case FIR No. 56/17  on 20.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC at PS Sadar, are remanded in police custody upto 05.04.2017, by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Ajay Kumar @ Vishnu S/o Sh. Laxman Dass R/o Village & PO Mashobra, Teshil & Distt. Shimla, age 35 years, arrested in case FIR No. 44/17 Dt. 29.03.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today released  on bail by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Shiv Dayal S/o Sh. Kanda Nand R/o Village Dhar, PO Dhargaura, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in case FIR No. 32/17 Dt. 29.03.2017 U/S 454 380 IPC at PS Jhakri, is remanded in police custody upto 01.04.2017 by the Ld. Court.
