Crime Report on March 17, 2017

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 29/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 16.03.2017 U/S 39 (1) HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Vikas Sharma, Addl. SHO PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.03.2017 at about 08-45 PM, during patrolling along with staff at Rohru Bazar Chowk, one person namely Kuldeep Singh Chauhan S/O Sh. Mehander Singh Chauhan R/O Mandali Munchhara PO Samoli Teh Rohru, Distt Shimla, apprehended by them with Four Boxes of Kingfisher Strong Beer (48 bottles) . The case is being investigated by SI Vikas Sharma, Addl. SHO PS Rohru, Shimla.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 17.03.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Raj Kumar S/O Sh. Sher Singh R/O Village Rajpura PO Noa Tehsil & distt. Sadar Bilaspur HP, age 25 years, alleging therein that on 16.03.2017, after unloaded the cement, he was coming back from Vangtu Distt. Kinnaur in Truck No. HP-64-4060 driven by Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Roshan Lal R/O village& PO Binga Tehsil Sarkaghat Distt. Mandi HP age 32 yrs. At about 08-00PM, when they reached at Maghara, above truck with an accident due to rash & negligence driving of Sunil Kumar, caused sustained injuries to them.  The case is being investigating by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 33/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 17.03.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Karam Singh, I/O PS Dhalli alleging therein that on 16.03.2017, a Car No. HP-09A-4448 (TUV 300) met with an accident & rolled down 100 meter from NH-5 near GS Trading due to rash & negligent driving of Pankaj Khachi, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Karam Singh, I/O PS Dhalli. 

4. USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO  DETER PUBLIC SERVANT DISCHARGE HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 56/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 16.03.2017 U/S 353 34 IPC on the application of Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Gynologist, MG MSC Khaneri, Rampur alleging therein that on 15.03.2017 at about 08-30 PM, when he was present on Emergency duty, Mr. Ramesh Kumar alongwith one lady, dragged him out from duty room and scuffle with him during performing his govt. duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Hoshiyar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.  

5. A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 60/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 16.03.2017 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Prakash Negi S/o Lt. Sh. Sheesh Ram R/o Village Shivpuri, PO Ratnadi, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 13/14.03.2017, some unknown person has stolen away his licenced Gun (12 Bore) from his house. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Baghi (Kotkhai).

6. During last 24 hours  338 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 121 & fine realized Rs. 44,200/- 63 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 6,300/- & 01 Challaned under Mining Act.    

   INQUEST PORT

1. Today morning an Unidentified male Dead body (Nepali Origin), age about 40 years, has been found on SH-10 Theog-Rohru road at Premghat, in the jurisdiction of PS Theog. During preliminary enquiry, it seems that deceased has been died due to fell down from hillock. After postmortem at IGMC Shimla, corpse has been kept in the mortuary for identification.

1. Accused Parikshit Azad S/o Sh Rjesh Azad R/o Village & PO Pudag Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla arresred in case FIR No  53/17 Dt. 11.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468 471, 473 IPC at PS Sadar, further remanded in Police Custody upto 20.03.2017 by the Ld Court.

2. Accused Bunty Kumar S/o Sh. Narayan Singh R/o Village Dhalti, PO Jarol, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 32/17 Dt. 14.03.2017 U/S 363, 366A, 376 IPC & 4 of POCSO Act at PS Kumarsain, today remanded in judicial Custody upto 27.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

3. Accused Mursalim S/o Sh. Kalmodeen R/o Village Kimachandravil, PO Dedi, Tehsil & PS Nerwa, Distt. Shimla, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 21/17 Dt. 12.03.2017 U/S 376,354A,354D,342,120B IPC & 6 POCSO Act at PS Chopal, is remanded in Police custody upto 18.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

4. Accused Meetu Singh S/o Sh. Bhagmal R/o Village Balsa, PO Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 59/17 Dt. 15.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act at PS Kotkhai, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
