Crime Report on March 13, 2017

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 51/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 13.03.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the Application of Sh. Sanjay Chauhan S/o Late Sh. Hari Dass Chauhan R/o Village Gamsot PO Bonda Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that he was going towards Sarahan in Alto Car No. HP-06A-7966. As he was reached near Nogli, a Truck No. HP63-4849 driven by Kedar Nath, came rashly from Rampur side and collide with his vehicle. In this accident, he Sustain injuries.The case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev I/O PS Rampur.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 54/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 13.03.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that today on 13.03.2017 at about 02-45AM, one  vehicle No. HP-03-0437 (Zypsy) met with an accident due to rash &   negligent driving of Abhishek Singh Chauhan S/o Sh. Vijay Singh Chauhan R/o Block-G, Ground Floor, Knollswood, Chhotas Shimla & rolled down 20/25 feet from Hight Court road to Cart road near MC Parking, Lift Shimla, caused sustained inuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh, I/O PS Sadar.  
3. During last 24 hours  281 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 137 & fine realized Rs. 42,400/- and 78 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 8,300/-.    

FIRE INCIDENT:

1. Today on 13.03.2017 at about 06-30 AM, Fire incident took place in the three story combined old house of Sh. Beer Singh Tejta, Sh. Karam Dass Tejta & Sh. Gaji Ram Tejta at village Sirthi, in the jurisdictions of PS Jubbal. During preliminaly enquiry, it has revealed that none was residing in the house  and fire broken out due to short circuit. The approximate value of destroyed property is Rs. 30/35 lacs.

1. Accused Aminudeen Sheikh S/o Nazirodeen Sheikh R/o village Khudvi P/o Ruslah Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla age 32 years arrested in case FIR No 13/17 on dated 11.03.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS act at PS Nerwa, is on Police remand up to 14.03.2017

2. Accused Kalyan Singh S/o Sh Daulat Ram village Borad P/o Koti Bounch Tehsil Shilai District Sirmour arrested in case FIR No 48/17 on dated 11.03.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS act at PS East, is on Police Remand up to 14.03.2017 by order of Ld Court.

3. Accused Manak Gupta S/o Sh. Dinesh Gupta R/o Village Churag, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 21 years arrested in case FIR NO. 10.03.2017 U/S 489(a)(c) IPC & 21, 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is on police remand up to 14.03.2017.

4. Accused Parikshit Azad S/o Sh Rjesh Azad VPO Pudag Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla arresred in case FIR No  53/17 on dated 11.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468 471, 473 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in Police Custody upto 15.03.2017 by the Ld Court.
