AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 55/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 13.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.03.2017 at about 09-10 PM, one person namely Isfak Mohd. S/o Mohd. Akbar Naik R/o Village Ujjanpur, PO Dali, Tehsil & Distt. Doda, J&K, age 21 years apprehended by them near Chhol with 12 Bottles of illicit English liquor & 12 Bottles of Beer. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 53/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 14.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Desh Raj, Addl. SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that during patrolling alongwith staff one Bolero Camper No. HP-06A-4162, stopped by them for checking near Bazir Bawori, Rampur and recovered 16 Boxes of country liquor marka Una No.1 & 01 Boxes of English liquor marka Officer choice from the above vehicle under the possession of driver Surinder Kumar S/o Sh. Shyam Singh R/o Village Chatti & Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Mehar Chand R/o Village Jawal, PO Amb, Distt. Una. The case is being investigated by SI Desh Raj, Addl. SHO PS Rampur.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 52/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 13.03.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Krishan S/o SH. Madan Dev Shrama R/o Village Nehra, PO Bahali, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.03.2017, a Black Colour Alto Car No. HP-06A-7273, driven by Brindesh, came rashly & hit his parents Sh. Madan Dev Sharma & Smt. Sushma Devi near Kupri. In this accident, his father Madan Dev Sharma has been died and mother Smt. Sushma Devi sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh, I/C PP Taklech (Rampur).
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 49/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 13.03.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Jagat Ram S/o Sh. Sarnu Ram R/o 99 Octagon near Cooperative Bank Chhota Shimla, age 60 years alleging therein that on 13.03.2017 at about 08-00 PM, when he was purchasing curd from Daily Needs Shop near Ashiana Chhota Shimla, at the same time a vehicle No. HP-52A-6545, driven by Keshwa Nand, came rashly from Kasumpti side, hit him & run away from the spot. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopinder Pal, I/O PS East.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 13.03.2017 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Kumar R/o Village Barogi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.03.2017, a Maruti Car No. HP-06-4316 met with an accident near Barogi & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Om Prakash S/o Lt. Sh. Nihal Chand R/o Village Barogi, Tehsil Kumarsain and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.
USED CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT DISCHARGE HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 33/17 has been registered at PS West on 13.03.2017 U/S 353,332 IPC & 3 PDPP Act on the complaint of Sh. Mast Ram S/o SH. Jai Bahadur R/o Village Majhar, PO Beolia, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla A/P Driver in HRTC Bus No. HP-63-6738, Unit-II, Shimla alleging therein that on 13.03.2017, he was on the route from Malyana to ISBT Shimla. On the way, at about 05-35 PM when he reached near Rain Shelter Ram Nagar, one vehicle No. HP-03B-2955, come from ISBT side and stopped in front of his bus. Three persons came out from the above vehicle, beaten him brutally during discharging his govt. duty and broken the driver side front glass of the bus. After that, they run away towards Khalini. The case is being investigated by ASI Amrender Singh, I/O PS West.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on the complaint of Vikas Kalta S/o Lt. Sh. Rama Nand Kalta R/o Lower Sangti, Kalta Niwas, HB Colony, Sanjuli Shimla alleging therein that on 13.03.2017, he was coming from Kotkhai to his house at HB colony at Sanjauli. At about 07-30 PM, when they reached near his house, one person namely Shekhar obstructed his way & abused him. He also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 34/17 has been registered at PS West on 13.03.2017 U/S 341 323 504 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jogender Pal S/o Sh. Heera Lal R/o Village Karshala, PO Lagoti, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu, age 27 years alleging therein that On 13.03.2017, he was going to Daralaghat from Haridwar in his Truck No. HP-64B-0498. At about 07-30 PM, as they reached near Ghorachowki, Shimla, one vehicle No. HP-02A-0944 which was coming from Shimla, obstructed his way by stopped vehicle in front of his vehicle. 3/4 persons came out from the above vehicle & beaten him brutally. They also abused him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Prakash Chand, I/O PS West.
During last 24 hours 64 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 33 & fine realized Rs. 10,800/- and 29 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3,000/-.

Accused Aminudeen Sheikh S/o Nazirodeen Sheikh R/o village Khudvi P/o Ruslah Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla age 32 years arrested in case FIR No 13/17 on dated 11.03.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS act at PS Nerwa, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
Accused Kalyan Singh S/o Sh Daulat Ram village Borad P/o Koti Bounch Tehsil Shilai District Sirmour arrested in case FIR No 48/17 on dated 11.03.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS act at PS East, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
Accused Manak Gupta S/o Sh. Dinesh Gupta R/o Village Churag, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 21 years arrested in case FIR NO. 10.03.2017 U/S 489(a)(c) IPC & 21, 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, further remanded in police custody upto 16.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Parikshit Azad S/o Sh Rjesh Azad R/o Village & PO Pudag Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla arresred in case FIR No 53/17 Dt. 11.03.2017 U/S 420, 467, 468 471, 473 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in Police Custody upto 15.03.2017 by the Ld Court.
Accused Brindesh S/O Sh. Gopal Dutt Sharma R/o Vill. Nehra PO Bahali Teh Rampur Distt. Shimla HP, age 30 years arrested in case FIR No. 52/17 Dt. 13.03.2017 U/S 279,337,304AA IPC at PS Rampur, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.
