Crime Report on March 22, 2017

  1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 42/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 22.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajvinder Singh, I/O PS New Shimla alleging therein that on on 21.03.2017 at about 11-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Sunil S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Sharma Niwas, Lower Khalini, Shimla, age 34 years, apprehended by them at Khalini with 24 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.1. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajvinder Singh, I/O PS New Shimla.  

  2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 25/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 21.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dilu Ram Sharma, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.03.2017 at about 06-30 PM, one person namely Randhir Singh S/o Sh. Khem Raj R/o Village Disti PO Chalahal Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 37 years apprehended by them near village Mandri with 07 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Nagpuri Santra. The case is being investigated by ASI Dilu Ram Sharma, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla.

  3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 39/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 21.03.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vikas Sharma S/o Sh. Roshan Lal Sharma Ro Akash Bhavan, near Hari Mandir, Rajgarh Road, Distt. Solan alleging therein that on 21.03.2017, he was coming to Shimla from Solan in his Alto Car No. HP-08C-3777. On the way when he reached at Sonu Bungalow, at the same time a vehicle No. DL-12CB-1429 (Ford Figo) driven by Komal Matani, came rashly in wrong direction and hit with his vehicle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Narender Kumar, I/O PS West, Shimla.  

  4. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No 33/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 22.03.2017 U/S 341,323 ,504,506,34 IPC on the complaint of  Sh. Durga Singh S/o Sh Bishan Dass Verma R/o Vill Kotighat Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla alleging therein that in the morning of 17.03-2017 at about 05:00 AM, when he along with Pummi Verma, Dimple Verma, Pradeep Bahadur, Karun Bahadur were  coming to home, on the way two persons namely Pummy and Dimple S/o Laiq ram obstructed his way & abused him. They have also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences.   The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh, I/O PS Kumarsain.

  5. AN ATTEMPT TO CHEATING: Case FIR No. 41/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 21.03.2017 U/S 420, 511 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vivek Sharma S/o Sh. Gian Sharma R/o C-208, 2nd Floor, Sec. 3, New Shimla alleging therein that one lady Roselyn Schuma, who was facebook friend of him, introduced herself as Administrative Director of Dermatology Association, deals with import of seeds "Azagbegio" which is used in some medicine in Canada.  She told him that her company is looking for someone who can act as broker with 50-50 shared in profit and collect/export above seeds from India to her company.  She also introduced him with Indian supplier Sonia Sharma who asked him for collecting the seeds. Sonia Sharma also told him that after approval of sample by Roselyn Schumer, who is visiting to Delhi soon, seeds could be bought in larger amount. thereafter Ms. Sonia Sharma asked to meet with her at Delhi alongwith Rs. 2.5 lacs. On doubts, he tried to search her & about her company in google, but could not found with this name and they have trying to Cheat him.  On this, police trapped and nabbed her from Chandigarh. The case is being investigated by SHO PS New Shimla.

  6. A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 40/17 has been registered at PS West on 21.03.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Som Prakash Thakur S/o Sh. Chanderpal R/o Village Chalog, PO Majhiwar, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that in the year November 2015, one Mr. Vinod Chauhan S/o Sh. Pritam Singh R/o Village Annu (Gumma) Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla told him and four other persons Jitender Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Shiv Raj and Manoj Kumar that he can provide them job in foreign and they paid him Rs. 2 lacs each. But he neither provide them job in foreign, never return their money and cheated with them. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS West, Shimla.

  7. During last 24 hours  445 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 208 & fine realized Rs. 58,800/-and 96 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 11,500/-.   

     INCIDENT OF LANDSLIDE NEAR SAINJ

  1. Construction work of retaining wall on the road leading towards Sunni from Teshan about 04 KM away from Sainj with the help of JCB Machine bearing No. HP-62-2506, operated by PraveenKumar S/o SH. Jai Chand R/o Village Lahar, PO Thol, Distt. Hamirpur. Today at about 09-40 AM, incident of landslide took place on the JCB Machine. In this incident Operator Praveen Kumar jumped out from JCB but helper Gaurav S/o Sh Ashwani kumar VPO Pova Tehsil & Distt Pathankot buried alive in debris and died on the spot. His body has been shifted to CH Kuamrsain for further legal proceeding.

  1. Accused Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Devi Saran R/o Village Jagaidi, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 30 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 36/17 Dt. 20.03.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in Police Custody upto 23.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.  

  2. Accused Rajat S/o Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/o Labour Hostel, Lalpani, Shimla, age 18 years alongwith 03 another Minor accused, arrested in case FIR No. 52/17 Dt. 20.03.2017 U/S 147, 149, 427, 379 IPC & 3 PDPP Act at PS East, Shimla. All minor accused have been handed over to their guardians and Accused Rajat is remanded in Police Custody upto 23.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  3. Accused Govind Kumar S/o Sh. Satpal R/o Village Kainthal, PO Chakti, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 20 years, arrested 57/17 Dt. 17.03.2017 U/S 636, 366 376 IPC & 6 POCSO Act at PS Rampur, is remanded in Police Custody upto 23.03.2017, by the Ld. Court. 

  4. Accused i) Neeraj Dhiman S/o Sh. Ramesh Dhiman R/o Pelent View, Middle Floor, Sanjauli Shimla, age 31 years, ii) Deepak Chauhan S/o Sh. Prem Chauhan R/o Violet Villa, Jakhu Shimla, age 31 years & iii) Bansi Ram S/o Sh. Nanda Ram R/o Nanda Niwas, Sadhnaghati, Chhota Shimla, age 34 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 33/17 Dt. 13.03.2017 U/S 353,332,34 IPC & 3 PDPP at PS West. They will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow. 

  5. Accused Smt. Shompa Manna W/o Sh. Subrat Kumar Manna R/o Flat No. 30, Plot No. 7, Shalimar Garden, Vikram Enclave Shahibabad, Distt. Gajiyabad UP age 46 year is arrested in case FIR No. 41/17 Dt. 21.03.2017 U/S 420, 511 IPC at PS New Shimla, is remanded in Police Custody upto 25.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  6. Accused Krishan Pal @ Jauntu S/o Sh. Fachar Ram R/o Village Rundial PO Geleha, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 43/17 Dt. 25.02.2017 U/S 452, 354, 382, 323, 506 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in Police Custody upto  23.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.

  7. Accused Karan Singh S/o Sh. Heera Singh R/o Amrut Society, Mrligam Maroli, Navsari, Jalalapur, Gujrat, age 40 years, arrested in case FIR No. 61/17 Dt. 20.03.2017 U/S 302, 307 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in Police Custody upto 24.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.
