1. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 187/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 20-09-13 U/S 341, 323, 324, 504 IPC on the complaint of Mr. Parth S/o Late Sh. Narender Kashyap R/o Vill and PO Dhami, Teh & Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 20-09-13 at 9:45 AM when he was going to 16 Mile through private bus near 16 Mile one person named Mr. Neeraj Kumar S/o Sh. Hira Lal obstruct and beat him with grip. Case is being investigated by HC Pratap Singh PP Dhami.
2. An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 188/13 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 21-09-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the report of ASI Amar Nath I/o PS West that on 20-09-13 at 8:30 PM an accident has been made between vehicle Truck No. HP-03B-0966 and Motor Cycle No. HP-52A-1113 at Anandpur road Shoghi Shimla, due to which Motor Cycle rider Amit Kumar sustained injury. Case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/o PS West Shimla.
3. A HUSBAND OR RELATIVE OF HUSBAND OF A WOMAN SUBJECTING HER TO CRUELTY case FIR No. 130/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 20-09-13 U/S 498A, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Nisha Rani D/o Sh. Lachmi Singh R/o Vill Kharari, PO Bagri, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that she got married with Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Roop Lal R/o Vill Raveyana, PO Dharech, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla in 2011. After 5-6 months of marriage her husband and mother-in-law cruelled with her, told about dowry and also threatened with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain I/c PP Fagu.
4. During last 24 hours 181 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 07 challaned under COPTA, 12 challaned under Police Act and 13 under Police Act. Total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act and COPTA is Rs. 41,160/-.
