Crime Report on July 12, 2019

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 35/19 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 11.07.2019 U/S 39(i) (a) Excise Act on the rukka of SI Lakshman Dass SHO PS New Shimla alleging therein that on 11.05.2019 during patrolling at village Rajana he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from the possession of Jiyalal s/o Late Sh Shyam Lal R/o village Rajana Tehsil & District Shimla . The case is being investigated by SHO PS New Shimla.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR NO. 155/19 has been registered at PS West on 12.07.2019 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh Vijay Singh Negi R/o village Ulahana P/o SilkaKhal P/o & Tehsil KIrti Nagar Disrict Tihari Ghadwal Uttrakhnd A/P House No. 06 IAS Colony Panthaghati Shimla alleging therein that today, on 12.07.2019 during travel in his vehicle No. DL10CJ 6429 from Shimla to Chandigarh he reached near Shogi suddenly a vehicle No. HR06AT 5355 came rashly and collided with his vehicle.In this accident three persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopinder Pal I/O PS West.
3. During last 24 hours 769 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded =258, 22 persons challaned under Smoking Act.
