Crime Report on Nov. 18, 2018

1.    AN INJURY WITH SHARP WEAPON: Case FIR No. 134/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 18.11.2018 U/S 324 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Brahm Dass Sharma R/o Village Bhaleti Pathia, PO Dohgi, Tehsil Bangana, Una A/P Savitri Niwas, near Brinda Home Stay, Mehli, Shimla stated therein that  he is running Meat shop in his rented shop at Dhobhighat, Chhota Shimla. He landed a gas cylinder from Sukender Kumar, who is running a meat shop at Kasumpti Bazar and known to him for the last 2 years. He gave Rs. 600/- and promised him to pay remaining Rs. 1000/- later. On 17.11.2018 at about 09-00 PM, when he reached at Kasumpti Chowk, above Sukender Kumar demanded his money and started to quarrel with him and attacked on him with drat. He sustained injuries on his left hand.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 77/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 18.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Mohd. Gulzar S/o Sh. Shafi Mohd. R/o Village Kihal (Kiyarla), PO Kedi, Tehsil Nerwa, District Shimla stated therein that today morning he alongwith his sister-in-law & his cousin brother Ibbas was going to Rohru in Bolero Pick-UP No. HP06-2786, driven by Ibbas. Due to break-down, Ibbas stopped the vehicle at Jhamradi and get down them from the vehicle. As Ibbas was parked above vehicle and rolled down from the road due to negligent driving of Ibbas and died on the way to CH Nerwa. The case is being investigated by HC Ankush Rana, I/O PS Nerwa.

3. During last 24 hours 381 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 153  and 09 Persons challaned under Smoking Act.

1. Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Damyana, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 12.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  
2. Accused Jagmohan S/o Lt. Sh. Pyare Lal R/o Village Bhiwra, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 32 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 121/18 Dt. 15.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  
3. Accused i) Aman Kumar S/o Sh. Padam Singh,  R/o Village Khorsu, PO Kutara, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 36 yrs, ii) Amit Chauhan S/o Sh. Krishan Chauhan R/o Village Gangtoli, PO & Tehsil Rohru, Shimla,  age 27 years and iii) Akhil Kumar S/o Sh. Raju Chauhan R/o Village Sharog, PO Arahal, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No.101/18 Dt. 16.11.18 U/S 21,25,29 ND&PS Act at PS Jubbal, are remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  
4. Accused i) Shivan Thakur S/o Lt. Sh. Surender Thakur R/o Village & PO Amb, Tehsil Amb, District Una & ii) Gaurav S/o Sh. Shishu Pal R/o Gauri Niwas, Nalhatti Road, Ghanahatti, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No. 336/18 Dt. 16.11.18 U/S 21, 29 ND&PS Act at PS West, Shimla are remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  
5. Accused Hindi Lal S/o Sh. Shukru R/o Village Pujarli, PO Kwar, Tehsil Dodra-Kwar, District Shimla, age 27 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 107/18 Dt. 16.11.2018 U/S 376 IPC & 4 POCSO Act at PS Chirgaon. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
