Crime Report on Nov. 08, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 126/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 07.11.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Insp. Hari Singh, SHO PS Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.11.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Man Bahadur S/o Lt. Sh. Sukh Ram R/o Village Gorkhani, PO Shank, Tehsil Khlanga, Anchal Rapti, District Rukkum, Nepal, age 54 years intercepted by them at Dhurla and during the search 258 Gram Charas recovered from his possession.  The case is being investigated by Insp. Hari Singh, SHO PS Chopal. 

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 127/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 08.11.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the statement of H/ASI Hari Singh, I/C PP Pulbahal stated therein that on 07.11.2018 at about 04-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Raju S/o Sh. Krishan R/o Nepali A/P C/o Sh. Sandeep Thakur R/o Village Mauni, Pulbahal apprehended by them near Gram Panchayat office at Pulbahal and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS Chopal.   

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 112/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 07.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Maan Chand Thakur S/o Sh. Churu Ram R/o Village & PO Jhakri, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.11.2018 at about 08-30 AM, he was going towards Rattanpur in his Motorcycle No. HP14A-3317. As he reached near Army Camp, at the same time one Maruti Car No. DL3C-AW-1374, coming rashly with negligent driving from Jeori side and hit his motorcycle, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri. 

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 234/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on  07.11.18 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Durgesh Kumar S/o Ram Krishan Gupta R/o Kulwant Singh Building near Dhalli Chowk Shimla, age 20 years stated therein that on 07.11.2018 at about 06-45 PM, one Maruti Car No. HP03A-2729 came rashly in wrong direction from Sanjauli side and hit a person namely Ranjeet and one vehicle No. HP09B-0610 (Scorpio). The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 221/18 has been registered at PS Theog on  07.11.18 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Parma Nand R/o Village & PO Mahog Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 40 years stated therein that on 07.11.2018, he alongwith Mahesh @ Rishu and Rohit R/o Mahog, was coming to home from Theog Bazar in  Maruti Car No. HP09C-0874 driven by Mahesh @ Rishu. At about 05-45 PM, when they reached at Dogra Curve near Sandhu, at the same time one vehicle No. HP63A-2515 came rashly with negligent driving from Sandhu side and after hitting their vehicle run away from the spot. In this accident, they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sukh Dev, I/O PS Theog. 

6.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 106/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 08.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statemet of Sh. Dina Nath S/o Lt. Sh. Vikram Dass R/o Village & PO Khashdhar, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that today at about 11-15 AM, he alongwith Sh. Sanjeev Dass, Kewal Ram, Neak Patti, Menka, Neha and Aarav were coming towards Chirgaon in Bolero Camper No. HP10B-0742 driven by Chander Sain S/o Sh. Sain Ram R/o Village & PO Khashdhar, Chirgaon. As the reached near Kandar Thintwari, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Chander Sain. In this accident, they all sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Vishal Nainta, I/O PS Chirgaon.

7.     During last 24 hours 66 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 25, fine realized Rs. 6,400/- and 01 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 100/-.

FIRE INCIDENT:

1.     On 08.11.2018 at about 03-30 AM, fire incident took place in the house of Sh. Chaman Lal S/o Sh. Bhajan Dass R/o Village Bachari, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla & Smt. Damodri Devi. In this incident, a house of 12 Rooms, house hold articles, Jewelry and cash Rs. 3 lacs, 20 Apple plants have been destroyed due to fire. The approximate value of burnt property is Rs. 50 lacs.

FOLLOW-UP

1.     Accused Man Bahadur S/o Lt. Sh. Sukh Ram R/o Village Gorkhani, PO Shank, Tehsil Khlanga, Anchal Rapti, District Rukkum, Nepal, age 54 years, arrested in case FIR No. 126/18 Dt. 07.11.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act PS Chopal, is remanded in police custody upto 10.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.
