Crime Report on December 20, 2017

1. ATTEMPT TO MURDER: Case FIR No 220/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 19.12.2017 U/S 307,353,332,279 IPC on the rukka of SI Luder Singh, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 19.12.2017, an information received in this PS that one person is creating nuisances near circuit House, on this information HC Narjeev Kumar No 1673 alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that driver of vehicle No. HP24D-7757 namley Aakarshan Kapoor S/O Pankaj Kapoor Village R/O H.No.28 Mukherjee Kothi Chakkar Distt Shimla HP age 28 years hit the government vehicle with rash and negligent driving and flew away from spot. During Nakabandi, when they signaled him to stop the vehicle, but driver of above vehicle drive rashly  and tried to hit police personnel HC Anteshwar Bakshi No 151 with the intention to kill him on duty. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by SI Luder Singh I/O PS Rampur.

2.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 225/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.12.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Hem Raj, I/C PP Matyana alleging therein that on 19.12.2017, a Van No. HP51-4207 met with an accident near Matyana & rolled down from the road. In this accident, one person died on the spot and other two sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Raj, I/C PP Matyana.

3.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 144/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on  20.12.2017  U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ajay S/o Sh. Indra Bahadur R/o Vill. Thapgaon Tehsil & PS Hikuli Distt. Dang Tulsipur Anchal Rawti Nepal age 24 year alleging therein that  today at about  10.15 am he along with laborers was going in Tempo Traveler No PB01A-2844. As they reached near Digadhar, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Tilak Gurum S/o Sh. Durga Gurum  Nepali and rolled down from the road. In this accident, 14 persons  sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram  PS Kumarsain.

4.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 138/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 20.12.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ranveer Singh S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/o Village Thakarsheel PO Fagu Teshil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that today on 20.12.2017, he was going to Khaneti from Fagu in Alto Car No. HP09-5268 driven by Naresh  Kumar R/o Village Sholghat PO Fagu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla. At about 11-00 AM, when they reached near Kokunala, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Naresh Kumar, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Rameshwar Thakur, I/O PS Kotkhai.

5. During last 24 hours  648 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 111 fine realized  Rs. 51,900/- and 08 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 800/-.

1. Accused Aakarshan Kapoor S/o Sh. Pankaj Kapoor R/O House No. 28 Mukhrjee Kothi Chakkar, Distt. Shimla age 28 year arrested in case FIR No 220/17 Dt. 19.12.2017 U/S 307,353,332,279 IPC at PS Rampur, is being produced before Ld. Court.
