AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 10.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dilu Ram I/O PS Sunni alleging therein that on 10.02.2017 at about 08-30 PM, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Uma Chand S/o Sh. Hem Dutt R/o Village Chewari, PO Hera, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla intercepted by them at Chewari near Chaba & recovered 09 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Dilu Ram, I/O PS Sunni.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 29/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 10.02.2017 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 10.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Nihari. At about 03-30 PM, on the secret information, he searched the Hotel/Dhaba of Sonu Kumar S/o Sh. Jagat Singh R/o Village Malethi, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla & recovered 03 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 30/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 11.02.2017 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Avinash S/o Sh. Balbir Singh R/o Village Dalan, PO Veergarh, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that today he was going towards Rampur from Shimla. AT about 07-00 AM, when he reached near Raighat, at the same time a Truck came rashly & hit his vehicle & run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
During last 24 hours 580 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 386 & fine realized Rs. 1,10,800/-, 343 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 34,300/- and 03 Challan under Mining Act.
INQUEST REPORT:
An unknown dead body of male person (Nepali) was found today on roadside near Seema in the jurisdiction of PS Chirgaon. During preliminary inquiry it seems that the person fell down from the hillock in influence of alcohol, caused sustained head injury to him. The deadbody is kept in CHC Sandasu for postmortem & identification.
Deceased Smt. Satya Devi S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass R/o Village Naini, PO Jeori, Tehsil Rampur Shimla age 60 years has been died as a tree fell upon her due to storm, while she was going to her orchard. After autopsy at MGMSC Khaneri, the dead body handed over to her relatives for cremation.

Four Accused namely i) Rojudeen S/o Sufi Saleem, age 26 years ii) Mohd. Umed S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 24 years iii) Mohd. Rihana S/o Sh. Abdul Rasheed, age 18 years and iv) Chand Mohd. S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 28 years all the resident of Mohalla Sahajmal, Kithor Gramin (Merath),arrested in case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 13.02.2017, by the trial court.
Accused Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Dadu, PO Badoh, Tehsil Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpur arrested in case FIR No. 19/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is remanded in police custody upto 13.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Prem Bahadur Rawat S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur R/o Village Hati Chaunr, Ward No. 1, Anchal Seti, Distt. Bajula, Nepal, arrested today in case FIR No. 29/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 13.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Parmanand R/o Shah was selling charas in his Kiryana shop arrested in case FIR No 20/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Jhakri, today released on bail by the trial court.
Two Accused i) Ashish Nagta S/o Sh. Laxmi Singh Nagta R/o Village Shekhal, PO Dhadigansa, Rohru, age 28 years & ii) Dinesh Thakur S/o Sh. Devender Kumar R/o Village Brasli, Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 11/17 Dt. 05.02.2017 U/S 379 IPC at PS New Shimla, are being produced before Ld. Court.
