A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 19/17 has been registered at PS West today on 09.02.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Amrender Singh, I/O PS West, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 08/09.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Chakkar, Tawi More etc. one person namely Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Dadu, PO Badoh, Tehsil Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpur intercepted by them near Forest Colony Chakkar and recovered 175 Tablets of Nitrosum-10 & 1450 capsule of SPM-PRX+ (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police & the case is being investigated by ASI Amrender Singh, I/O PS West, Shimla.
A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 29/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Inder Singh I/O PS Theog alleging therein that today on 09.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Sainj, Parala etc. one person namely Prem Rawat S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur R/o Village Hati Chaunr, Ward No. 1, Anchal Seti, Distt. Bajula, Nepal intercepted by them at Shakar Nala and recovered 2.70 Kg. Charas from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PS Theog, Shimla.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 10/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 08.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dilu Ram I/O PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2017 at about 09-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Vijay Singh S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o Village Childhar, PO Basantpur, Tehsil Sunni, Distt. Shimla, age 41 years apprehended by them near Basantpur and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No. 1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Dilu Ram, I/O PS Sunni.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 09/17 has been registered at PS Chopal on 08.02.2017 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS Chopal, Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2017, he alongwith staff was on patrolling in the jurisdiction of PS Chopal. On the secret information, he searched the shop of Kundan Lal S/o Sh. Mansa Ram R/o Village Nanahar, PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla and recovered 18 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS Chopal.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Rohru on 08.02.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/C PP City Rohru alleging therein that on 08.02.2017, on the secret information he raided in the Karyana shop of Ramesh @ Mashu S/o Sh. Inder Ram R/o Village & PO Dalshani, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla & recovered 10 Bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal orange from. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh, I/C PP City Rohru.
A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 11/17 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 08.02.2017 U/S 13-3-67 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 08.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff, 04 persons apprehended by them during playing gambling with cards in public place & recovered Rs. 4,300/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 33/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 09.02.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Mohammad Aarif S/O Sh. Sharifudeen R/o Village & PO Khaneri Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that today on 09.02.2017, he was coming from Nogli to Rampur in vehicle No HP-06-7270 (Maruti Van). At about 08-20 AM, when he reached near Shingla Bifurcations on NH-05 at the same time one B/Camper No HP-06A-7315 came rashly & run away from the spot. In this incident a child namely Drish Masoi sustained injury. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar No. 156, I/O TTR wing Rampur.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 08.02.2017 U/S 341 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ram Krishan S/o Sh. Hari Dass R/o Village Shah, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2017 at about 07.10 PM, when he was coming to home, on the way one person namely Dalip Sing S/o Sh. Sukha Nand R/o Village Shah obstructed his way & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 32/17 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 09.02.2017 U/S 341 323 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Village Devton, PO Nogli, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2017, he was going to home. At about 07-00 PM, when he reached at Nogli, where three unknown persons obstructed his way & beaten him brutally, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjeev Kumar, I/O PS Rampur.
A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 28/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.02.2017 U/S 448 34 IPC on the statement of Smt. Nirmla Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Girja Nand R/o Village Tunda, PO Cheog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 07.02.2017, his Brother-in-law Babu Ram alongwith his wife broken the door lock with the intention to illegally occupy her house. The case is being investigated by ASI Subhash Shastri, I/C PP Fagu.
A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 18/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 08.02.2017 U/S 454 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Tanuj Chauhan S/o Sh. Ramesh Chauhan R/o Village Padara, PO Tharola, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla A/P Manta Niwas, near Deepak Guest House, Shimla on 08.02.2017, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his room and stolen away gold/ Silver ornaments, ladies wrist watch & ATM Card (PNB) from almirah. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
During last 24 hours 473 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 197 & fine realized Rs. 63,400/-, 293 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 29,400/- and 05 Challan under Mining Act.
INQUEST REPORT
Today Deceased Navjeet Singh Sangwan S/o Sh. Gurbachan Singh R/o Alnkar Apartment, Sector-14 Panchkula Haryana A/P Karan Niwas, Dyerton Estate, Old Beerkhana below Talland Shimla, age 46 years, who was serving as Nodal Officer in Aircel Company at Khalini found dead in the bathroom of his rented room. The body was shifted to IGMC Shimla for further legal proceeding.
FOLLOW-UP:
Accused Dhyan Singh S/o Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Village Jodhpur, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 42 years, arrested in case FIR No. 25/17 Dt. 06.02.2017 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, today remanded in judicial custody by the trial court.
Two Accused i) Ashish Nagta S/o Sh. Laxmi Singh Nagta R/o Village Shekhal, PO Dhadi, Rohru, age 28 years & ii) Dinesh Thakur S/o Sh. Devender Kumar R/o Village Brasli, Kansakoti, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 07.02.2017 U/S 379 511 34 IPC at PS Rohru, is on police remand upto 10.02.2017.
Four Accused namely i) Rojudeen S/o Sufi Saleem, age 26 years ii) Mohd. Umed S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 24 years iii) Mohd. Rihana S/o Sh. Abdul Rasheed, age 18 years and iv) Chand Mohd. S/o Mohd. Yusuf, age 28 years all the resident of Mohalla Sahajmal, Kithor Gramin (Merath),arrested in case FIR No. 221/16 Dt. 27.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 10.02.2017, by the trial court.
Accused Vinod Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Village Dadu, PO Badoh, Tehsil Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpur arrested in case FIR No. 19/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS West, is remanded in police custody upto 12.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Prem Rawat S/o Sh. Veer Bahadur R/o Village Hati Chaunr, Ward No. 1, Anchal Seti, Distt. Bajula, Nepal, arrested today in case FIR No. 29/17 Dt. 09.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
