AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 19/17 has been registered at PS Sadar on 02.02.2017 U/S 39(i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of Insp. Sanjeev Gautam, SHO PS Sadar, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.02.2017, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Old Bus Stand, Shimla, one person namely Raju S/o Sh. Sadak Ram R/o Dhara near Labour Hostel Krishna Nagar, Shimla intercepted by them near Butail Dharamshala, Shimla and recovered 06 Bottles of English liquor, from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS Sadar, Shimla.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 03.02.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Leeladhar S/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village Nehar, PO Nehri, Distt. Mandi, age 35 years stated therein that today on 03.02.2017, he alongwith Nirmal Singh was coming towards Sunni from Basantpur in vehicle No. HP-31A-7288. At about 12-30 AM, when they reached near Gharat nala, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Nirmal and rolled down from the road. In this accident, he driver Nirmal died during treatment at Hospital & he sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 13/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 02.02.2017 U/S 323 341 506 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjay Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Badagaon, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that he is working as Munshi in the Hardware shop of Sh. Suresh Kumar at Kingal. On 02.02.2017, at about 09-30 PM, Ashok Kumar R/o Village Baredi alongwith two another persons scuffled with him when he along with Yudhishtra @ Bablu & Tek Chand was taking dinner in the Dhaba of Sh. Prakash. After that, when they were coming back to his Shop, on the way Ashok Kumar alongwith his friends obstructed his way, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.
A THEFT: Case FIR No. 13/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 03.02.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Maheshwar Singh Thakur S/o Sh. Hukkam Singh Thakur R/o Village Tarapur, PO Mashobra, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, age 35 years alleging therein that on the intervening night of 01/02.02.2017, some unknown person has stolen away his Pick-Up No. HP-62A-2756 bearing Engine No. GHD1B16991 & Chassis No. MA1ZC4GHKD1B21811, parked near Baba Balak Nath Temple at Chalaunthi, Sanjuli. The case is being investigated by HC Paramjeet, I/O PP Sanjauli Shimla.
During last 24 hours 302 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 130 & fine realized Rs. 47,100/- and 171 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 17,300/-.
INQUEST REPORT:
Today an unidentified female dead body, age about 30 years, found below Chemist Shop near MGMSC Khaneri, Rampur. The body was shifted to MGMSC Khaneri for further legal proceeding.
Deceased Laiq Ram S/o Sh. Tikkam Ram R/o Village Dawari, PO Khargah, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 48 years A/P serving in Electricity Deptt. at Kumarsain found dead below Rampur Bazar. During the preliminary inquiry, it seems that deceased has committed suicide by taking some poisonous substance. The body was shifted to MGMSC Khaneri for further legal proceeding.

Accused Krishan @ Shiva S/o Sh. Govind R/o Madrasi Colony, Ram Nagar, Karnal, Haryana, age 26 years, arrested in case FIR No. 10/17 Dt. 29.01.2017 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, today remanded in judicial custody by the Trial Court.
Accused Sunil Kumar @ Sunny S/o Sh. Duni Chand R/o Village Chasi, PO Jassal, Tehsil Karsog, Distt. Mandi, age 21 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 12/17 Dt. 01.02.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today remanded in judicial custody upto 07.02.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Pankaj S/o Sh. Shishu Pal R/O Village Malwari PO Seema Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla HP age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No. 08/17 Dt. 01.02.2017 u/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rohru, today remanded in judicial custody by the Trial Court.
