An Excise Act case FIR No. 219/14 has registered at PS Sadar on 26.11.2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Nagdev, I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 26.11.2014, he alongwith staff were on patrolling duty towards Downdale, Phagli in Shimla. At about 06-30 PM, one person namely Deepak Singh S/o Late Sh. Aalam Singh R/o Dhara No. 09, Kushat Colony, Downdale, Phagli, Shimla has been intercepted by them. During search, 12 bottles of country liquor 750ml each, marka suroor recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev I/O PS Sadar.
An Excise Act case FIR No. 220/14 has been registered at PS Sadar on 26.11.2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 26.11.2014, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Cart Road, Old Bus Stand, Downdale in Shimla. At about 08-40 PM, one person namely Janak Raj S/o SH. Daya Ram R/o Village & PO- Aatla, Tehsil & PS- Dullu, Distt. Delang, Anchal Beri, Nepal, age 28 years, has been intercepted by them. During search, 08 bottles of country liquor 750ml each, marka suroor recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/O PS Sadar.
An Excise Act case FIR NO 142/14 is registered at PS East, Shimla on 27.11.2014 U/S 39 of HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Het Ram, I/O PS East Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith staff were on patrolling near Talland, Shimla. At about 12:45 AM one person namely Rohit S/O Sh Shyam Lal R/O vidya Bhawan Lower Khalini Shimla, intercepted by them. during search, he recovered 24 Bottles of country liquor marka Una No-1 from his possession. The case investigating by ASI Het Ram I/O PS East Shimla.
A Mischief by injury to public road case FIR No. 78/14 is registered at PS Chirgaon on 26.11.2014 U/S 431,506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chet Ram S/O Sh. Sunder Singh & Other Villagers of Vill. Bangtot, Tehsil Chirgaon, alleging therein that Rajan S/O Late Khemsukh R/o Vill. Bangtot & His Mother Smt. Bhishma Devi have damaged the public road at village Bangtot and threatened them with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.
A Burglary case FIR No. 160/14 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 26.11.2014 U/S 454,380 IPC on the statement of Dr. Rohit Sharma S/O Sh. Satish Sharma R/O Sun View Cottage, Cemetery, Sanjauli Shimla-6 alleging therein that on 22.11.2014, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his house and stolen his wife's ATM Card, one identity card of Veterinary Council, one hard disk, memory card and Cash Rs.3500/-. The case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
An Accident case FIR No. 231/14 has been registered at PS West on 26.11.2014 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Naseem S/o Late Sh. Shyam Lal R/o Village- Jadyota, PO Haripur, Tehsil & Distt. Solan, HP alleging therein that he is working in J.P. Motor at Solan. On 26-11-2014 he was going to the house of Sh. JP Negi for delivering the vehicle No. HP 14C-9653. When he reached at Sankat Mochan Mandir in Shimla at the same time one A/F Bolero came rashly and negligently and hit his Car. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar PS West.
A Fire Incident case FIR No. 232/14 is register at PS West on 27.11.2014 U/S 285 IPC on the application of Sh. Jagroop Singh, Asstt. Engineer, Sub. Division Maintenance, Kumar House, Shimla-4 alleging therein that today at about 08:15 AM, he received an information that fire took place at Glass House/store in Electricity Office, Kumar House, Shimla. On this information, he rushed to the spot, where fire brigade and FSL teams were already present. The property approximately Rs. 3,88,083/- has been damaged in the fire incident due to negligence of unknown person. The case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.
During last 24 hours 236 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 35 Challan under Smoking Act & 03 challaned under Mining Act. Total challan compound= 95 and fine realize Rs. 52,200/-

Accused Mangat Ram S/o Sh.Gulab Singh R/o Village- Kandal P.O Tikkari A/P Chakwali Sub Tehsil & P.S Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 54/14 on 23.11.2014 U/S 21,22 ND&PS Act & 9 (B) Explosive act at PS Nerwa, today sent to judicial custody.
