Crime Report 25 November, 2014

1. A Wrongful restraint Case FIR No. 226/14 has been registered at PS West on 24.11.2014 U/S 341,323,427,509,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Pawan Kumar S/O Captain Sh. S.L Sharma R/o vill Dhamoon PO Panesh Tehsil & Distt Shimla alleging therein that when he alongwith his wife, sister in law and cousin were coming from Jubbarhatti in his vehicle, at the same time near Badehri, three persons ridden in Motorcycle No. HP-14A-4663 stopped his vehicle, beaten him, breaking the glass of vehicle, racial and ran away. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Jatuog.   

2. A Theft Case FIR No. 227/14 has been registered at PS West on 24.11.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dev Raj Verma S/o Late Sh. Dharma Dass R/o Balsan House Khalini Shimla-2 alleging therein that on 22-11-14 he had parked his vehicle No. HP 63-4713 at Tutikandi. On 23-11-2014 when his driver Subhash checked the vehicle, it found missing from the spot. After that he search the vehicle on his own level but the same did not traced out. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/O PS west.

3. A Wrongful restraint & Criminal intimidation case FIR NO 131/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 24-11-2014 U/S 341,323,506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Satish Chauhan S/O Sh. Jai Chand R/O Jarla PO Kadiwan Teh Rohru Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 24-11-2014  at about 3-30pm when he was going to his home from Kuthari at the same time  Suresh Kumar S/O Ram lal R/O Kuthari stopped his way  and started beaten him with kicks and blows. Complainant sustained injuries in this incident. The case is being investigated by HC Man Dass  I/O PP Tikker , PS Rohru.

4. During last 24 hours 287 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 08 Challan under Smoking Act. Total challan compound= 142  and fine realize Rs. 52,200/-

   Follow up

1. Accused Rakesh Sharma S/O Sh. Kishan Sharma R/o Rohal Cottage Ridka PO Chaura Maidan Shimla age 28 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 128/12  dated 19-06-2012 U/S 419,420,468,471 IPC at PS West.

2. Accused Mangat Ram S/o Sh.Gulab Singh R/o Village- Kandal P.O Tikkari A/P Chakwali Sub Tehsil & P.S Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 54/14 on 23.11.2014 U/S 21,22 ND&PS Act & 9 (B) Explosive act at PS Nerwa is on Police remand upto 27-11-2014.

   Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.P.C.

   1.Deceased Krishan Kumar S/O Sh. Parma Nand R/O Vill. Dharthalag P.O. Aanji Brahmna Tehsil & Distt. Shimla age 53 Yrs has been died as he fell down from hill when he was going to his in-laws house. 2.Deceased Lal Chand Thakur S/O Sh. Mahender Singh R/O C-4/20 CPWD Colony Phagli Shimla age 29 Yrs has been died due to use of poison
