A ND& PS Act case FIR No. 50/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 22-03-13 on the report of SI Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS Sadar Shimla that on 22-03-13 during patrolling he recovered 2 kg 100 grm Chars from the illegal possession of Kesar Singh S/o Railu Ram C/o Lucky Bar and Restaurant, Totu, Shimla near Solitaire Jeweller, Lower Bazar Shimla. Case is being investigated By SI Sanjeev I/O PS Sadar Shimla.
2. A THEFT case FIR No. 19/13 is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 23-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. PAdam Singh Asstt Engineer Elet. S-Division Nerwa, alleging therein that on 21-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away Copper wire from old Transmitter near Kiri. Case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I/o PS Nerwa.
3. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 13/13 is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 22-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gurdyal Singh S/o Sh. Babu Ram R/o Kapoor Niwas, Lane-15, near DAV School, Sec-4, New Shimla, alleging therein that on 18-03-13 his landlord inform him that door of his room is open, on 21-03-13 when he came back he found that some unknown person has stolen away one LCD, one Mobile Nokia, HMT wrist watch & cash Rs. 4640/- from his room. Total value of stolen property is Rs. 33,940/-. Case is being investigated by PSI Ashish Samual.
4. A WRONGFUL RESTRAINT case FIR No. 47/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 23-03-13 U/S 341, 323, 506 IPC on the statement of Smt. Santosh Mehta W/o Late. Sh. Mahinder Singh R/o Vill Panoli, Nankhari, Teh Rampur, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 at 03:10 PM when she was going to purchase vegetables to Nankhari Bazar one person Dharmender Mehta Driver Bdo, Nankhari wrongfully restrained his way and beat her and also threatened with dire consequences. Case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/o PP Nankhari.
5. A 3PDP case FIR No. 48/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 23-03-13 on the complaint of Vijay Kant Negi R/o BDO Nankhari, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 at 03:30 PM his driver named Dharmender Mehta @ Sonu came in intoxication mood in the office and break the window glasses and obstructed the peon Kanwar Singh to perform his duty and also beat him. Case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/o PP Nankhari.
6. A BURGLARY case FIR No. 24/13 is registered at Police Station Theog on 22-03-13 U/S 447, 379, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sudhir Kumar S/o Sh. Naryan Singh R/o Vill Sawagaon, PO Kelvi, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 04-01-13 Persons namely Rajesh and Naresh both S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Vill Sawagaon, PO Kelvi, Teh Theog, Distt Shimla cut down 2 devdar and 1 kayal tree from his land and stolen away. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/c PP Matiyana.
7. A THEFT case FIR No. 26/13 is registered at Police Station East Shimla on 22-03-13 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ashwani Kumar S/o Sh. Sarwan Kumar C/o RK Gularia R/o Sharma Niwas, Ground Floor, Flowerdale, Shimla, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 some unknown person has stolen away one vehicle M/cycle Yamaha Fazer A/f from Flowerdale.
8. A THEFT case FIR No. 46/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 22-03-13 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Laxmi Devi W/o Late Sh. Jagmohan R/o Mohan Niwas, PO Kamla Nagar, Lower Cemetary, Sanjauli, Shimla, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 she was in hospital some unknown person has stolen away 1 pair kante gold, 1 Teek Gold, Ear rings 1 pair gold, Kitty set-2 gold and cash Rs. 16000/- from her house. Investigation is being conducted by ASI Manohar Lal I/O PS Dhalli.
9. A 3PDP case FIR No. 11/13 is registered at Police Station Chopal on 23-03-13 on the complaint of Sh. Ranveer Singh S/o Sh. Basia Ram R/o Vill Sharad, PO Dhar Chandna, Kupvi, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that during the intervening night of 21/22-03-13 some unknown person has break the main gate of Panchyat Bhawan Building and damage one monitor, printer and files. Investigation is being conducted by ASI Subhash Chand I/C PP Kupvi.
10. A COPY RIGHT ACT case FIR No. 51/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 22-03-13 on the complaint of Sh. K Prasad Reddy S/o Sh. K Veerana R/o Plot No-26 & 27, Laxmi Narayana Nagar, alleging therein that their company is manufacturing Dietary supplements with the brand name ZINCOVIT (Non Medical Product ) for which it has copy right of this trade Mark, but another company Apex Laboratories Pvt Ltd is also selling their product with the same name ZINCOVIT in Shimla Area. Case is being investigated by ASI Paramjeet I/o PS Sadar Shimla.

A SNATCHING case FIR No. 52/13 is registered at Police Station Shimla on has been registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 22-3-13 U/S 356, 323, 504 IPC on the complaint of Kumari Kamlesh D/o Late Sh. Amar Chand R/o 124/4 R/o Sunder Building, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, alleging therein that on 22-03-13 at 10:35 PM one person namely Ladi S/o Sh. Lakhan came with her Brother Raju in her quarter and used filthy language, beat her and also snatched her Golden Chain. CAe is being investigated be ASI Lakshmi I/o PS Sadar Shimla.
12. During last 24 hours, 185 vehicles were challaned by shimla police under motor vehicle act for the violation of traffic rules, 15 persons were challaned under COPTA (cigarette and other tobacco product act, 2005). The total amount of compounding fee of challans under m.v. Act and COTPA is Rs. 35,000/-.
13. Today information is received at Police Station Chopal that one lady namely Sheela Devi W/o Sh. Sukh Ram R/o Vill Nohra, PO Khagna, Teh Chopal, Distt Shimla fell down and died on spot. Proceeding is being conducted u/s 174 Cr.PC.
