Crime Report on Feb. 26, 2019

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 32/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 25.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Jaswant Gupta No. 230, I/O PS Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2019 at about 07-20 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Nogli, 2 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from the possession of Diwan Chand S/o Sh. Jai Singh R/o Village Chiksa, PO Devthi, Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla, age 26 years. The case is being investigated by HC Norinder Raj, I/O PS Rampur. 

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 09/19 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 25.02.2019 U/S 20 21, 29 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Devender Nath No. 153, I/O PS Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.02.2019 at about 10-30 PM, during Nakabandi/traffic checking near Nalaban, one Alto Car No. HP06A-8722 alongwith two persons namely Rajat Sarkaik S/o Sh. Devender Serkaik R/o Village Bhamnoli, PO Khuni, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 25 years and Vipin Negi S/o Lt. Sh. Hem Singh Negi R/o Village & PO Khunni, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 29 years, stopped by them for checking and during the search, 4.4 Gram Charas recovered from the possession of Rajat and 0.8 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from the possession of Vipan Negi.   The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay Kumar No. 87, I/O PS Nankhari.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 19/19 has been registered at PS Rohru on 25.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath, I/C PP Tikker, Rohru alleging therein that on 25.02.2019 at about 07-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, a person namely Ram Krishan S/o Sh. Kahan Chand R/o Village Dhanoti, PO Samra, Tehsil Rohru, District Shimla apperehended by them at Dhanoti Kainchi (Tikker) and recovered 18 Bottles of Country liquor, from this possession. The case is being invesetigated by ASI Bhagi Rath, I/C PP Tikker.

4.     A BUGLARY: Case FIR No. 30/19 has been registered at PS Theog on 25.02.19 U/S 457, 380, 34 IPC on the rukka of HC Kirpal Singh, I/O PP Chhaila, Theog alleging therein that on 25.02.2019 at about 05-00 AM, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards C&C Company at Bagain. During patrolling, on Truck (Tata 1613) No. HP11C-7801 found parked on the link road to C&C company and found that four persons were stealing the goods of C&C company and loaded in the above truck. One of them Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Tulka Ram R/o Village Dehan Ghati, PO Kelvi, Tehsil Theog, Shimla apprehended by them, whereas three other persons run away from the spot. Above truck alongwith stolen articles have been impounded by the police and the case is being investigated by HC Kirpal Singh, I/O PP Chhaila (Theog).

5.   During last 24 hours 650 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 400, 27 persons challaned under Smoking Act and  01 challaned under Mining Act.

FOLLOW-UP:

1.    Accused Himanshu Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Rudra Pratap Singh R/o Long Island, Pride World City Pune, Maharashtra A/P Ahluwalia Building, Cemetery Sanjauli, Shimla, age 22 years , arrested in case FIR No. 29/19 Dt. 21.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Mohit S/o Sh. Jawahar Lal R/o Village Pamlahi, PO Thanadhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 30/19 Dt. 22.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, to day released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3.     Accused Shankar Thakur S/o Sh. Karan Thakur R/o Mansa Ram Niwas, Sec.-3, New Shimla, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 18/19 Dt. 24.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act PS New Shimla, today remanded in judicial custody by Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Sanjeev Kumar S/o  Sh. Tukka Ram R/o Village Dehanghati, PO Kelvi, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 30/19 Dt. 25.02.2019 U/S 457, 380 IPC at PS Theog, is being produced before the Ld. Court.

5.   Accused Tenzin Tsogyan S/o Sh. Tsoltrim Namgyal  R/o House No. 122, Block No.-E, Tibetan Colony, Panthaghati, PO Kasumpti Shimla, age 37 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 26/19 Dt. 25.02.2019 U/S 376 IPC & 6 POCSO Act at PS East, Shimla. He will be produced before the Ld. Court tomorrow.
