Crime Report on Feb. 09, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 34/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 08.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dhanveer Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2019 at about 06-45 PM, one person namely Lok Pal S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Village Daishlik, PO Jaggan Nath, Nepal A/P Sikh Line, Bawdi Krishna Nagar, Shimla apprehended by them at Subzi Mandi Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanveer Singh, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.  

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 35/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 08.02.2019 U/S 39 HP  Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dhanveer Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2019 at about 11-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Ganj Bazar, Shimla, 24 Bottles of English liquor & 36 Bottles of Country liquor recovered from vehicle No. HP 12H-6883 under the possession of Vijender Kumar S/o Sh. Rajender Kumar R/o Village Damechi, PO Beolia, Tehsil & District Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanveer Thakur, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 21/19 has been registered at PS Rampur on 08.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rahul S/o Sh. Daulat Ram R/o Village Anurrakshi Tehsil Rampur District Shimla alleging therein that on 08.02.2019 at about 07-00 PM, one Car No. HP30-3200 came rashly with negligent driving and hit a Scooty No. TS09-EW-0460, caused sustained to two persons. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

4.    During last 24 hours 201 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 111 and 23 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

FOLLOW-UP:

1. Accused Dharma S/o Lt. Sh. Kailash R/o  Jhuggi, near Bus Stand Murinda, Tehsil & District Roop Nagar, Punjab, age 27 years and two ladies, arrested in case FIR No. 29/19 Dt. 06.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, Shimla,  are remanded in police custody upto 11.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.
2. Accused Chhabeel Dass S/o Sh. Gorkhu Ram R/o Village Mander, PO Baldeyan, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 40 years, arrested in case FIR No. 22/19 Dt. 06.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 11.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.
3. Accused Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Amar Nath R/o Beha, Tehsil Naduan, District Hamirpur, arrested in case FIR No. 16/19 U/S 420 120B IPC at PS Sadar, Shimla, is being produced before the Ld. Court.
4. Accused Surjeet Singh S/o Sh. Prem Singh Rawat R/o Village Pong,  Tehsil & District Pauri, Uttrakhand, age 48 years A/P Gali No.-1, Shivpuram, PO Ram Nagar, PS Ganga Nagar, Rurki, District Haridwar, Uttrakhand, arrested in case FIR No. 266/18 Dt. 20.09.2018 U/S 504, 506 IPC at PS West Shimla, is being produced before the Ld. Court.
