Crime Report on Feb. 22, 2019

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 29/19 has been registered at PS Dhalli, Shimla on 21.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli on the rukka of L/ASI Ranjna, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that on 21.02.2019 at about 06-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Himanshu Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Rudra Pratap Singh R/o Long Island, Pride World City Pune, Maharashtra A/P Ahluwalia Building, Cemetery Sanjauli, Shimla, age 22 years,  intercepted by them near Gas Godown on Nav Bahar Road and during the search 5 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Lalit, I/O PP Sanjauli, Shimla.

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 08/19 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 22.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that today on 22.02.2019, a Truck bearing registration No. HP72-4112, met with an accident and rolled down from the road near Koku-Ka-Nalah  at Bagra, sustained injuries to three persons. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Kotkhai.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 30/19 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 22.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act in which complainant stated that today on 22.02.2019 at about 10-00 AM, when she was crossing the NH-05 at New Nirsu, at the same time a Alto Cart No. HP06A-5431 came rashly with negligent driving and after hitting her run away from the spot, sustained injuries to her. The case is being investigated by HC Narender Raj, I/O PS Rampur.

4.     During last 24 hours 403 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 174, 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act and  01 challaned under Mining Act.

An unidentified male deadbody, age about 40 years, Height 5’4”, seems Nepali, found dead on the bank of Pubber River near Gumma Bridge due to fell down in the jurisdiction of PS Chirgaon. The deadbody is kept in the mortuary of CHC Sandhasu for further proceeding.

1.  Accused Amrit Pal S/o Sh. Makhan Singh, R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Sultanpur, Lodhi, District Kapurthala, Punjab A/P MG Saloon Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 23 years has been arrested in Case FIR No 43/19  Dated 19-02-19 U/S 21,29 of ND&PS Act at PS Sadar Shimla, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused i) Nazeer Husain @ Abhishek @ Sunny S/o Sh. Raj Mohd., Latif Mohd. R/o Khalsai, PO Jablu Tehsil Jhanduta, District Bilaspur, age 26 years ii) Rajesh Kumar S/o Lt. sh. Gobind Ram R/o Village & PO Arsu, Tehsil & PS Nirmand, District Kullu, age 26 years iii) Nek Ram @ Dogra S/o Sh. Jahi Devi R/o Village Kuhal, PO Devthi,Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 11/19 Dt. 16.02.2019 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sunni, are remanded in Police custody upto 23.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

3.     Accused Pawan Verma @ Mota S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Shiva, PO Kathog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 28/19 Dt. 13.02.2019 U/S 376 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 25.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

4.     Accused Himanshu Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Rudra Pratap Singh R/o Long Island, Pride World City Pune, Maharashtra A/P Ahluwalia Building, Cemetery Sanjauli, Shimla, age 22 years , arrested in case FIR No. 29/19 Dt. 21.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is being produced before the Ld. Court.

5.     Accused Sunil Kumar Rattan S/o Sh. Prem Ram R/o Village Dadhol Kalan, PO Dadhol, Tehsil Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 231/18 U/S 420 504 506 34 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 25.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.
