Crime Report on Feb. 21, 2019

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 12/19 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 20.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Vishan Nainta No. 88, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.02.2019 at about 08-40 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Vipul S/o Sh. Ravinder Singh R/o Village Kharshali, PO Larot, Tehsil & PS Chirgaon, Shimla intercepted by them near Tikkeri and during the search 14.80 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram No. 1692, I/O PS Chirgaon

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 11/19 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 20.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Ranjeet Singh, SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on 20.02.2019, during patrolling alongwith staff,  05 Bottles of Country liquor recovered from the possession of Shishu Pal S/o Sh. Bhagat Chand R/o Village Tikker, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Chirgaon.

3.     During last 24 hours 403 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 174 and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

An unidentified male deadbody, age about 25-30 years, Height 5’4”, Nepali, who was travelling from Kalka to Shimla in HRTC Bus, found dead in the Bus at ISBT Tutikandi, Shimla. The deadbody is kept in the mortuary of IGMC Shimla for further proceeding.

FOLLOW-UP:

1.   Accused Amrit Pal S/6o Sh. Makhan Singh, R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Sultanpur, Lodhi, District Kapurthala, Punjab A/P MG Saloon Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 23 years has been arrested in Case FIR No 43/19  Dated 19-02-19 U/S 21,29 of ND&PS Act at PS Sadar Shimla, is remanded in Police custody upto 22.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Pawan Bhagta S/o Sh. Ram Saran Dass R/o Village & PO Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla has been arrested in Case FIR No 12/19  Dated 17-02-19 U/S 376 506 IPC & 4, 6 POCSO Act at PS Jubbal, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused i) Nazeer Husain @ Abhishek @ Sunny S/o Sh. Raj Mohd., Latif Mohd. R/o Khalsai, PO Jablu Tehsil Jhanduta, District Bilaspur, age 26 years ii) Rajesh Kumar S/o Lt. sh. Gobind Ram R/o Village & PO Arsu, Tehsil & PS Nirmand, District Kullu, age 26 years iii) Nek Ram @ Dogra S/o Sh. Jahi Devi R/o Village Kuhal, PO Devthi,Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 11/19 Dt. 16.02.2019 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sunni, are remanded in Police custody upto 23.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

4.   Accused Pawan Verma @ Mota S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Shiva, PO Kathog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 28/19 Dt. 13.02.2019 U/S 376 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 25.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.
