Crime Report on Feb. 23, 2019

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 30/19 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 22.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ram Kumar, I/O PP Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that on 22.02.2019, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Mohit S/o Sh. Jawahar Lal R/o Village Pamlahi, PO Thanadhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, age 20 years apprehended by them and during the search 13 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh No. 121, I/O PP  Sanjauli, Shimla. 

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/19 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 22.02.2019 U/S 21, 29 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Deepak Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.02.2019, during patrolling alongwith staff at Gadki Mod near Mandli, 5.77 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from the possession of two persons namely Devender S/o Sh. Kusum Lal R/o Village Bhonda, PO & Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla and Vijender S/o Lt. Sh. Padam Sain R/o Village Sunda-Bhonda, PO & Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 15/19 has been registered at PS Jhakri Shimla on 22.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sunil Dutt, I/C PP Sarahan, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.02.2019, during patrolling alongwith staff, 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1, has been recovered from the possession of Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh Shishi Ram R/o Village Kelay, PO Bonda, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil Dutt, I/C PP Sarahan, Jhakri.

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 09/19 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 22.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 22.02.2019, one car No. HP62B-4343 met with an accident at Annu near Hulli, sustained injuries to 4 persons. The case is being investigated by HC Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 23/19 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 23.02.2019 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Kalyan Gian S/o Sh. Sunil Gian R/o Roshan Building C/o Smridhi Jewelers Shop Mehli, Shimla stated therein that on 22.02.2019 at about 07-30 PM, he alongwith his wife was purchasing the vegetables from the shop near Mehli, at the same time one car No. DL28 (Honda) Car came rashly with negligent driving from Malyana side and after hitting his wife run away from the spot, sustained injuries to this wife. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod, I/C PAR Mehli, Shimla.   

6.     During last 24 hours 403 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 174, 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act and  01 challaned under Mining Act.

1.     Accused i) Nazeer Husain @ Abhishek @ Sunny S/o Sh. Raj Mohd., Latif Mohd. R/o Khalsai, PO Jablu Tehsil Jhanduta, District Bilaspur, age 26 years ii) Rajesh Kumar S/o Lt. sh. Gobind Ram R/o Village & PO Arsu, Tehsil & PS Nirmand, District Kullu, age 26 years iii) Nek Ram @ Dogra S/o Sh. Jahi Devi R/o Village Kuhal, PO Devthi,Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 11/19 Dt. 16.02.2019 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Sunni, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Pawan Verma @ Mota S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Shiva, PO Kathog, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 28/19 Dt. 13.02.2019 U/S 376 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 25.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

3.     Accused Himanshu Pratap Singh S/o Sh. Rudra Pratap Singh R/o Long Island, Pride World City Pune, Maharashtra A/P Ahluwalia Building, Cemetery Sanjauli, Shimla, age 22 years , arrested in case FIR No. 29/19 Dt. 21.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is remanded in police custody upto 25.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

4.     Accused Sunil Kumar Rattan S/o Sh. Prem Ram R/o Village Dadhol Kalan, PO Dadhol, Tehsil Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur, HP, arrested in case FIR No. 231/18 U/S 420 504 506 34 IPC at PS Theog, is remanded in police custody upto 25.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.

5.     Accused Mohit S/o Sh. Jawahar Lal R/o Village Pamlahi, PO Thanadhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, District Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 30/19 Dt. 22.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is being produced before the Ld. Court

6.     Accused i) Devender S/o Sh. Kusum Lal R/o Village Bhonda, PO & Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla and ii) Vijender S/o Lt. Sh. Padam Sain R/o Village Sunda-Bhonda, PO & Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 14/19 Dt. 22.02.2019 U/S 21, 29 ND&PS Act at PS Chirgaon, are being produced before the Ld. Court.
