RESCUE OF CHILD BY SHIMLA POICE WITHIN 05 HOURS

Today a case FIR No. 65/18 Dt. 27-03-2018 u/s 363 IPC has been registered at PS West on the complaint of one Nepali Lady who alleged that another lady has abducted  her male child (20 days old) from the residence at Chakkar. The accused lady became friendly with her in IGMC Shimla, when her son was admitted for Jaundice treatment. FIR was lodged and call details were taken.  Neighbouring Distt. SPs of Solan & Baddi were informed. Nakas were established at various locations. Police also contacted the accused/suspected lady on phone. Accused lady left the child at village Ghumari, PO Shalaghat in the home of her Masi (Aunty)   and returned to Police station West. She told that she has not abducted the child. The person in whose house the child was dropped informed SHO Arki. When accused lady dropped the child in other home no one was present in the home. SHO Arki rescued the child. Team of Police Station West reached at the spot and collected evidence. The matter is under investigation. Accused lady who belong to Darlaghat area has been arrested. As the accused lady has four daughters, motive was to have male child or to sell the child, is matter of investigation.
