Crime Report on March 24, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case  FIR No. 15/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on  23.03.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/o Sh. Dula Ram R/o Village Bagna PO Nerwa Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 23.03.2018, a Bolero Camper no. HP08A- 2825, which was coming from Nerwa to Bagna, met with an accident at Dyandli Nala & rolled down 150 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Sandeep Kumar. In this accident, two persons sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Sharifodeen, I/O PS Nerwa.
2. A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 54/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 23.03.2018 U/S 451, 147, 149, 323, 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ram Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Aklu Ram R/o Himgiri Longwood Shimla, age 86 years alleging therein that he is running a Juice Stall & Dry Cleaning Shop “White Way” at the The Mall Shimla since 1963. On 23.03.2018 at about 11-00 AM, his son Sh. Chanderjeet alongwith his wife & other  persons came in his shop and demanded their share in the shop & other properties. They have pushed him back and threatened with dire consequences.
3. AN ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS: Case FIR No. 55/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 23.03.2018 U/S 336 304(A) IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ramveene  Sahoo S/o Sh. Gulgul Sahoo R/o Village Gyaspur Tehsil Virole PS Kukek Distt Dharbanga Bihar alleging therein that  his brother namely Rama Sahoo S/o Sh. Gulgul Sahoo R/o Village Gyaspur Tehsil Virole PS Kukek Distt Dharbanga Bihar age 23 yrs and Sh. Badal S/o Bilomukhya R/o Phooltora Tehsil & PS Aloli Distt Khagrya Bihar age 20 yrs. were working as laborer with  contractor Sh. Ganga Ram S/o Sh. Hari Lal R/o Bihar. They were constructing the house of Sh. Suresh Serkek S/o Late Sh. Kewal Ram Serkek R/o Serkek Niwas Lower Cemetery. During digging work, suddenly  a land sliding occurred and above both laborers buried into the ground and died on the spot. Above incident occurred due to negligent work of Contractor Ganga Ram, who didn’t maintained proper security measures during the construction work of above house. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajinder Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli.
4. AN ACCIDENT case FIR No. 35/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24-03-2018 u/s 279,337,338 IPC on the on the statement of Sh. Bitu Verma S/O Sh. Bhagat Ram Vill. Bhadrash PO Duttnagar Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 23-03-18 at about 6.30/7.00 PM one Car No HP14A-9222 hit  M/Cycle No HP73-4811 near Bhadrash NH-05. In which two person injured.  This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of Car Driver Narender Sharma S/O Sh. Amba Dutt Sharma Vill. Ghatti Tehsil & Distt. Solan HP. The case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand I/O PS Rampur
5. A MISCHIEF BY INJURY TO WORKS OF IRRIGATION case FIR No. 56/18 dated 24-03-2018 u/s 430,323,506 IPC has been registered at PS Dhalli on the complaint of Sh. Palas Ram S/o Sh. Lakhi Ram R/o Vill. Chakrail, PO Kamla Nagar, Bhatta Kufar alleging therein that on 27-09-2017 water connection was sanctioned in his favour. On 05-02-2018 Pradhan GP Chamyana issued NOC and fitter IPH Jai Kishan installed water connection. After one month Pradhan GP Chamyana broke the water connection. On 23-03-2018 J.E. & Fitter of IPH came on the spot to connect water connection but, Pradhan Rattan Chand Thakur obstructed the work and also beaten him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Lalit Kumar I.O PS Dhalli.
6. A CHEATING case FIR No. 37/18 has been registered at PS East on 24-03-2018 u/s 420 IPC on the compliant of Sh. Jai Singh S/o Sh. Rikhi Ram C/o o/o  Director prison & reformative services Kasumpti Shimla-09 alleging therein that on 23-03-2018 he received a SMS of withdrawal from PNB. Subsequently he went to PNB Branch Kasumpti and made entry in the Passbook and came to know that some unknown person has withdrawal total amount of Rs. 80,000/- from his account. The case is being investigated by ASI Dalip Chand I.O PP Kasumpti.  
7. During last 24 hours 346 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 183 fine collected Rs. 72,000/- and 08 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 900/-.

Bhagat Bahadur R/o  Village Gavis Ward No. 8, Pachkula, District Dhang Ravati Anchal Nepal C/o Babu Niwas Jharech PO Beolia, Shimla, age 25 years and iv) Ravi Kumar S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o Gavis Bhukhal Ward No.-1, PO Mahender Nagar PS Bhuda Chori, District Kachanpur Mahakali Anchal Nepal C/o Garg Niwas Jharech PO Beolia, Shimla, age 23 years,  arrested in Case FIR No. 17/18 Dt. 10.03.2018 u/S 379 34 IPC at PS New Shimla are remanded in Police Custody upto 26-03-2018.

Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 33/18 dated 21-03-2018 u/s 302, 34 IPC at PS Jhakri are remanded in Police Custody upto 26-03-2018 by the Ld. Court
