Crime Report on March 28, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 17/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 28.03.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Babu Ram Sharma, SHO PS Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 27/28.03.2018 at about 01-45 AM, during patrolling/nakabandi near Kuradi Garh, a vehicle No. HP63B-1588 stopped by them for checking and during the search of vehicle, 19 Boxes of Country liquor & 10 Boxes of Beer recovered from possession of Alok Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Raja Ram R/o Village Jabal PO Gushali Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla. The case  is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Chirgaon. 
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 34/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 27.03.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Kamlesh, SHO PS Chopal alleging therein that on 27.03.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Rakesh S/o Sh. Guman Singh R/o Village Berag PO Chopal District Shimla apprehended alongwith 24 Bottles of Country liquor at Tehsil Ground Chopal. The case is being investigated by SI Kamlesh Kumar, SHO PS Chopal.
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 35/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 28.03.2018 U/S 39 (1) A HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Virender I.O PS Chopal alleging therein that today, during traffic checking alongwith staff, one person namely Chandan S/o Ishwari Dutt R/o Village Manjhotily PO Chopal District Shimla intercepted by them near HDFC bank and recovered 24 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Kamlesh Kumar, SHO PS Chopal.
4. Case FIR No. 20/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 28.03.2018 U/S 302 IPC on the statement of Smt. Leela Devi W/o Sh. Nek Ram R/o Village & PO Sholi Tehsil Nankhari District Shimla stated therein that on 27.03.2018 at about 08-45 PM, she was going to Sunil Kumar’s house alongwith her husband & other villagers. On the way, Sunil Kumar found dead in the fields of Anil @ Bablu. Subsequently, Mukesh Kumar (younger Brother of Sunil Kumar) came on the spot and told that he killed his brother Sunil Kumar with axe. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Nankhari.
5. ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY case FIR No. 67/18 has been registered at PS West on 28-03-2018 u/s 341,353,504 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Singh S/o Sh. Ranjeet Singh R/o Vill Kahali PO Deoth Tehsil Sadar Bilaspur driver HRTC Shimla-3 alleging therein that today when he reached at chakkar in HRTC Bus No. HP63-9880 at the same time one vehicle No. HP 34C-1720 overtake the bus rashly and obstructed the way and started abusing. Subsequently he pulled him from driver seat and tore his shirt. The driver of vehicle NO. HP 34C-1720 obstructed a Govt. servant to discharge his Govt. duty. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder I.O PS West.
6. A FIRE INCIDENT case FIR No. 43/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 28-03-2018 u/s 435,427 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Alok Kumar Azad S/o Lt. Sh. Dhan Sukh Vill Shathla PO Virgarh Sub- Tehsil Kotgarh Distt. Shimla alleging therein that today some unknown person has put fire in his orchard. Due to this fire incident 02 big plants, 02 small plants and 02 bundles of grass burnt.  The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand I.O PP Sanin PS Kumarsain.  
7. During last 24 hours 358 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 185 fine collected Rs. 74,800/- and 23 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2600/-.

Bhagat Bahadur R/o  Village Gavis Ward No. 8, Pachkula, District Dhang Ravati Anchal Nepal C/o Babu Niwas Jharech PO Beolia, Shimla, age 25 years, iv) Ravi Kumar S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o Gavis Bhukhal Ward No.-1, PO Mahender Nagar PS Bhuda Chori, District Kachanpur Mahakali Anchal Nepal C/o Garg Niwas Jharech PO Beolia, Shimla, age 23 years and v) Gama Ram S/o Sh. Balaki Ram R/o Village Jhalubi PO Kherla Tehisl & PS Barada District Ambala (Haryana), age 56 years A/P Shalagarh, Tehsil Kandaghat, District Solan HP, arrested in case FIR No. 17/18 Dt. 10.03.2018 U/S 379, 34, 411 IPC at PS New Shimla are remanded in Police Custody upto 29-03-2018.
2. Accused Nitesh Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Singh R/o Village Kund PO Bagshad PS Karsog District Mandi, age 23 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 16/18 Dt. 26.03.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sunni remanded in Police custody upto 29-03-2018.
3. Accused Lady arrested in case FIR No. 65/18 Dt. 27.03.2018 U/S 363 IPC  at PS Shimla West is being produced before Ld. Court.
