Crime Report on Jan. 31, 2016

1. A Excise Act case  FIR No 19/16 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 31.01.2016 U/S 39(i)(a) HP Excise Act on the Rukka of Insp. Sanjeev Kumar, SHO PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that today he along with staff was on patrolling duty towards Bemloe. At about 01.30 PM,  one person namely Hira Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Lachman  Sharma R/O Village & PO Parnu, Tehsil Arki Distt Solan A/P Ganesh Dutt Thakur Bag Annadel  Shimla intercepted by them near Bemloe and recovered 10 Bottles country Liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by Insp Sanjeev Kumar, SHO PS Sadar.

2. Injuries by negligence case FIR No. 09/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 30.01.2016 U/S 336,337, 338 on the statement of Sh. Mehar Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Amar Dass R/O Bashala PO Arhal Tehsil Rohru Distt Shimla age 42 yrs stated therein that he works as a T-mate at Kansakoti Section in Electricity Department at Rohru Division since 2014. On 05.01.2016 at about 05-15 PM,  when he alongwith Kapil was stood near Transformer at Bashala line, at the same time  switch of H.T line transformer sparked. He informed J.E. Geeta Ram on his Mobile Phone for shutting down the above line. After that when J.E. Geeta Ram told him that electricity on the above line has been shut down, he clamped up in the transformer for the maintenance of Transformer. Suddenly he got Electric shock and fell down on the ground, caused sustained injuries in his both legs and face etc. This incident occurred due to the negligence of Sh. Geeta Ram J.E. electricity section Kansakoti Division Rohru. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjeet Singh I/O PP City Rohru.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 16/16 has been registered at PS East on 30.01.2016 U/S 279 IPC has been registered on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Dhawan S/o Sh. Ram Chander R/o House No. 137, Ward No. 02, Palampur, Distt. Kangra, age 43 years stated therein that on 28.01.2016, he came to Shimla to attend the ceremony on his relative's house and parked his vehicle No. HP-37B-1952 on the roadside near Kishore Electric & Hardware Shop at Panthaghati Shimla. On 30.01.2016, A car No. DL-7CB-7843 driven by Mohan Lal S/o Sh. Devi Saran R/o Village Chaily, PO Beolia, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, came from Mehali side and negligently turned the car and hit with his vehicle three times, caused damaged right side Bumper etc. of his car. The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep Chand, I/O PP Kasumpati. 

4. During last 24 hours 346 vehicles challaned under MV Act & 59 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 231 and fine realized Rs. 74,700/-

1. An Unidentified male deadbody of Nepali person, age about 40/45 years found in the Nalah near Rajhana in the jurisdiction of PP Chhaila. After conducted postmortem, his deadbody kept in Mortuary at IGMC Shimla for identification.

2. Accused Om Pal S/o Dila Ram village Nala Margi P/o Sharvi P/o Nirmand Distt Kullu age 31 years arrested in case FIR No 12/16 on 21.01.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS act at PS Rampur is on police remand up to 03.02.2016.

3. Accused Goverdhan S/o Maya  Ram R/o Village Muhan PO Kothi Teh Aani, Distt Kullu ,Age 31 years (2) Vicky S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass R/o Village Mathvi PO Digar Tehsil Aani Distt Kullu, arrested in case FIR No. 13/16 Dt. 22.01.2016 U/S 18,29-61-85 ND &PS Act at PS Rampur are on police remand up to 04.02.2016.

4. Accused i) Nitin Verma S/o Sh. Gurudyal R/o Village & PO Jalog, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, HP Age 18 years, ii) Nikhil Chandel S/o Sh. Ramesh Chandel R/o Village & PO Shilaru, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 19 years & iii) Rakshak Khachi S/o Sh. Prem Singh Khachi, R/o Village Diddy, PO & Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla, age 20 years, arrested in case FIR No. 08/16 Dt. 25.01.2016 U/S 302,392,120B IPC at PS Theog are on police remand up to 01.02.2016

5. Accused Hari Bhadur S/o Sh Tul Bhadur village Bajugana P/o Salma The Dasera Distt Jagdhar Anchal Bahri Oda No -09,age 21 years arrested today in case FIR No 06/16 U/S 302 IPC at PS Nerwa is on Police remand up to 02.02.2016.

6. Accused Shageer Ali S/o Sh. Mehandi Ali R/o House No. 3, Gurudwara Road, Chhota Masjid, Sanjali Shimla, age 29 years arrested in case FIR No 19/16 Dt.28.01.2016 U/S  22-61-85 ND&PS at PS Dhalli is on Police remand up to 01.02.2016

7. Accused Vineet Negi S/o Sh. Dandup Gainchhan Negi A/P Om Niwas, Dhingu Mata Mandir Road, Sanjauli, Shimla arrested in case FIR No 20/16 Dt.28.01.2016 U/S  22-61-85 ND&PS at PS Dhalli is on Police remand up to 01.02.2016.

8. Accused Rajinder S/o Bhagat Ram R/o Village Kayar PO Bujjal Tehsil Rajgarh Distt. Sirmour HP arrested at case FIR No. 08/16 Dt U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS at PS Kotkhai, is on police remand upto 01.02.2016.

9. Accused Akshay Dogar S/o Sh. O.C. Dogar R/o 2^nd Floor, Himani Building, The Ridge Shimla, age 45 years, Hem Chand Chauhan S/o Lt. Sh. Golu Ram R/o Village & PO Nagvain, Tehsil Oat, Distt. Mandi, age 48 years A/P SDO, Sub-Division Dhalli & Vinod Kumar (Ex.En.) S/o Sh. Bhag Singh R/o Village Dodar, PO Rakhoh, Tehsil Sarkaghat, Distt. Mandi, age 47 years,  arrested in Case FIR No. 03/16 U/S 269,270,277,336,326 IPC & 43, 44 of Water Prevention & Control of Pollution Act at PS Dhalli.  Accused Akshay Dogar is on police remand upto 02.02.2016, whereas Hem Chand Chauhan is being produced before trial court & Accused Vinod Kumar will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
