Crime Report On January 25, 2016.

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 13/16 has been registered at PS West today on 25.01.2016 U/S 33, 39 HP Excise Act, 2011,  on the rukka of ASI Ajeet Singh, stated therein that at At 11.45 PM during Traffic checking & Nakabandi duty he recovered 150 Boxes of Country Liquor marka Himachal Orange from the vehicle Pickup NO. HP 63A-0547 driven by sh. Sumit Thakur S/O Sh. Saravjit Singh Thakur R/O VPO Daraman, Tehsil Shahpur, Distt Kangra, HP, The case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh I/O PS West, Shimla.
2. An ND & PS Act case FIR No. 7/16 has been registered at PS Theog today on 25.01.2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND & PS Act, on the rukka of Inspr./SHO Gauri Dutt PS Theog, stated that when he alongwith staff was on Naka Duty at Premghat he recovered 7 no. of syrups marked as Corex 100 ml each and 57 no. of tablets of Nitrosum from the possession of Sh. Rohit Chaddha S/ OSh. Ranjeet Singh Chaddha R/O Block No. C-19, Flat NO. 10, Nr Police Chowki Vikas Nagar, Shimla driver of Maruti car No. HP06-2900. The case is being investigated by Inspr./SHO Gauri Dutt PS Theog, Shimla.
3. During last 24 hours 365 vehicles challaned under MV Act & 107 Persons challaned under Smoking act and 05 Persons challaned under Mining act. Total Challan compounded = 372 and fine realized Rs. 82,950/-

Inquest Report:-

Deceased Sanjeev Sharma R/o Village Mihara, PO Marhana, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt Bilaspur, age 37 years, who was worked as Conductor in HRTC Department died due to fall from Bhagra Steel Industry Nr Sankat Mochan Tara Devi. His postmortem is being conducting at IGMC Shimla.

1.    Accused Om Pal S/o Dila Ram village Nala Margi P/o Sharvi P/o Nirmand Distt Kullu age 31 years arrested in case FIR No 12/16 on 21.01.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS act at 8:20 PM at PS Rampur is on police remand up to 03.02.2016.

2.    Accused Praneet Kumar S/o Sh. Mehar Singh R/o Village & PO Adahal, Tehsil Rohru, Distt. Shimla, age 47 years and Manoj Verma S/o Sh. Gopal Singh Verma R/o Village Shanan, PO Sanjauli Shimla, age 37 years, arrested in case FIR No. 03/16 U/S 269,270,277,336,326 IPC & 43, 44 of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act at PS Dhalli, is on police remand upto 28.01.2016.

3.    Accused Het Ram S/o Sh Bhoji Ram R/o village Kimcha  P/o Kushwah Tehsil Nirmand Distt Kullu Age 44 years arrested today in case FIR No. 10/16 Dt. 23.01.2016 U/S 20-61-85 ND &PS Act at  PS Kumarsain, is on police remand upto 27.01.2016.

4.    Accused Goverdhan S/o Maya  Ram R/o Village Muhan PO Kothi Teh Aani, Distt Kullu ,Age 31 years (2) Vicky S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass R/o Village Mathvi PO Digar Tehsil Aani Distt Kullu, arrested in case FIR No. 13/16 Dt. 22.01.2016 U/S 18,29-61-85 ND &PS Act at PS Rampur are on police remand up to 04.02.2016. 

5.    Accused Rohit Chaddha S/ OSh. Ranjeet Singh Chaddha R/O Block No. C-19, Flat NO. 10, Nr Police Chowki Vikas Nagar, Shimla-9, HP age 35 years, has been arrested in case FIR NO. 07/2016 dated 25-01-2016 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS ACT ON 25-01-2016 AT 4:35 AM at PS Theog.

6.    Accused Ashish Dogra S/O Sh. Sohan Singh Dogra R/O Vill. Dasholi P.O. Madavag Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla age 26 Yrs, Aman Dogra S/O Sh. Joginder Dogra R/O Vill. Patwana P.O. Madavag Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla age 30 Yrs has been U/S 107/151 Cr. P.C. by HC Man Singh No. 239 I/O P.S. West   at 02-30 AM  Near Tutikandi Shimla. The arrest information of  accused persons has been given to their  accordingly.
