Crime Report on Sept. 24, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 241/15 has been registered at PS West today on 24.09.2015 U/S 279,427 IPC on the statement of Anil Kumar Ghai S/o Lt. Sh. Amar Nath Ghai R/o Dinesh Building, Vijay Nagar Totu, Shimla stated therein that today he was coming to home from Taradevi in his vehicle No. HP-62-1395 (Ford Fista).  When he reached near Shiv Nagar Totu, at the same time on Truck No. HP-62A-0464 came rashly and collide with his vehicle & damage it and driver left his vehicle and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jatough.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 164/15 has been registered at PS Theog today on 24.09.2015 U/S 279,304A IPC on the rukka of HC Sadhu Ram, I/P PP Chhaila alleging therein that one Pick-Up No. HP-09A-3363, met with an accident & rolled down from the road near Hully. In this accident two persons namely driver Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Moti Ram R/o Village Dukhar, PO Ghund, Tehsil Theog, Shimla and Roshan Lal died on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Sadhu Ram, I/P PP Chhaila.

3. A Theft case FIR No 54/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 23.09.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Manish Sharma S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Shali PO Mashobra, Teh & Distt Shimla A/P Officer Site Engineer Reliance Communication Kotkhai alleging therein that on the intervening night of 22/23.09.2015, some unknown person has stolen away H.B.L 500AH Cell installed on Reliance Communication mobile tower at Chunger near Kharapathar Tehsil Kotkhai Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.

4. A Theft case FIR No. 87/15 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 23.09.2015 U/S 379 411 414 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashish Mehra R/o Bhrata Sadan, Kasumpti Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 22/23.09.2015 at about 12-00AM, he listened alarm of cite closed through OMCR. On this OSE Manish Kumar, visited the spot and found that some unknown person has stolen away 23 Cell of Battery Bank from Mobile Tower installed at Chunger near Kharapathar. After that Manish Kumar informed him & CL Yashwant. They started a search campaign and intercepted one vehicle No. HP-62A-2698 alongwith two persons namely Ramesh S/o Sh. Rattan Singh R/o Village & PO Jakhando, Tehsil Shilai, Distt. Sirmaur A/P Jiwanu Colony Panthaghati and Inder S/o Sh. Kedar Singh R/o Village Dakka, PO Bandali, Tehsil Shilai, Distt. Sirmaur A/P  Jiwanu Colony Panthaghati, Shimla, on the road towards Junga near Sai Temple and recovered HBL 500 AH 23 cell from their possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ashish Pathania, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla.   

5. A Cheating case FIR No 85/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 23.09.2015 U/S 407,420  IPC on the application of Sh. Raj Kumar A/P Owner  of  Shop MBT NH-22 near Murthal  PO & PS Kumarsain  Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 31.08.2015, he loaded 536 Apple Boxes in Truck No PB-11-BR-5879 driven by Rajesh Sharma S/o Sh. Dharmveer  TP Nager  Shiv Shakti  Vihar (Meatath)  for Kanpur Apple Mandi, but the above truck is not reached there till now.  The case is being investigated by ASI Harpal singh I/O PS Kumarsain.

6. During last 24 hours 189 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 02 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 191 & fine realized Rs. 49,400/-.         

   Follow-Up

1. Accused Vivek Chauhan S/o Sh. Veer Singh Chauhan R/o House No. 3, Block-12, Housing Board Colony Sanjauli Shimla arrested in case FIR No 319/15 Dt. 21.09.2015 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today produced before Ld. Court. He is remanded in Judicial Custody upto 06.10.2015 by the trial court.
2. Accused  Sarjeet  Singh S/O Late Sh. Vaidhay Parkash  R/o Vill. Shakhpuri Choad PO Rasulpur Nagala Tehsil Chandpur Distt. Bijnaur UP Age 19 years  arrested in case FIR No. 134/15 Dt. 30.08.2015 U/S 363,366 IPC at PS Theog. Today he is produced before Ld. Court. He is remanded in police custody for 07 days by the trial court.  
3. Accused i) Smt. Usha Devi W/o Sh. Surender R/o House No. 2, Labour Hostel Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 64 years and ii) Swaran Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Sadik Ram R/o Village Basti Danish Manda, PS Bastishek No. 5, Distt. Jalandhar, Punjab A/P Film Agent  C/o Sh. Vinod Seth, Revoli Building Lakkar Bazar Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 300/15 Dt. 18.09.15 U/S 302,34 IPC at PS Sadar. Today Swaran Lal has been discharged, whereas Smt. Usha Devi is further remanded in Police Custody upto 26.09.2015 by the trial court.
4. Accused i) Ramesh S/o Sh. Rattan Singh R/o Village & PO Jakhando, Tehsil Shilai, Distt. Sirmaur A/P Jiwanu Colony Panthaghati and ii) Inder S/o Sh. Kedar Singh R/o Village Dakka, PO Bandali, Tehsil Shilai, Distt. Sirmaur A/P  Jiwanu Colony Panthaghati, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 87/15 Dt. 23.09.2015 U/S 379 411 414 34 IPC at PS East and they have been released on bail by the Trial Court.
