Crime Report on Sept 17, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 157/15 has been registered at PS Theog on  16.09.15 U/S 18,29-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Inder Singh No. 110, I/O PS Theog stated therein that on 16.09.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling/ traffic checking duty towards Jais & Gajeri in Theog. At about 06-45 PM, when he was checking the vehicles near Kanog Nalah, one vehicle Np. HP-09C-3085 (Scorpio) alongwith driver Rajesh Kuamar S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Bagaro,  PO Jais, Tehsil Theog, Shimla age 40 years intercepted by them, but another person namely Monu S/o Sh. Shyam Singh Verma R/o Village Naleha, Tehsil Theog, Shimla run away from the spot. During checking, 300 gram Opium recovered from the dash board of above vehicle. The case is being  investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PS Theog.
2. A Cheating case FIR No 315/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 16.09.2015 U/S 420,506,120B IPC on the statement of Sh. Vishal Chauhan S/O Sh. M.S Chauhan, Cill- Karali, PO- Koti Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt- Shimla HP alleging therein that he purchased land at Mohal Chakrayal, PO- Kamlanagar, Shimla  from Sh. Goverdhan Dass S/O Sh Ratti Ram R/O Rama Bhawan, Cemetry Road, Sanjauli, Shimla. But now He sold above mention land to another person namely Sh. Tilak Raj S/o Sh Ramesh Kumar and threatening him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Desh Raj Guleria I/O PS Dhalli.
3. Abetment of Suicide case FIR No. 235/15 has been registered at PS West on 17.09.2015 U/S 306 IPC on the rukka of Insp. Viri Singh, SHO PS West Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of 17/18.09.2015, at about 01-42 AM, Officers of ITBP, Tara Devi, Shimla informed at Police Station that one constable has committed suicide. On this information, he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that deadbody of const. Nitin Gotmare was lying on the floor inside the Santry Post. After inspection the spot it is found that Const. Nitin has committed suicide by shoot himself with service rifle. A suicide note  found near his deadbody alleging there in that he is shooting himself due to harassment by Dy. Commandant  Engineering. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant Singh, I/O PS West.
4. A Theft case FIR No. 236/15 has been registered at PS West on 17.09.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Naresh Chand S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Bharathu, PO Binaula, Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur Presently residing at Dhanda near Totu, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 16/17.09.2015, some unknown person has stolen his Motorcycle No. HP-24B-1259 (Bajaj Pulsar) parked roadside at Dhanda. The case is being investigated by SI Praveen Rana, I/C PP Jatough, Shimla.
5. During last 24 hours 333 vehicles challaned under MV Act & 02 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 138 & fine realized Rs. 73,400/-.

1. Accused Rajesh Kuamar S/o Sh. Mast Ram R/o Village Bagaro,  PO Jais, Tehsil Theog, Shimla age 40 years arrested in case FIR No. 157/15 Dt. 16.09.15 U/S 18,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is on police remand upto 19.09.2015.
