An Excise Case FIR No.50/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 12-04-2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the ruka of PSI Jai Nand I/O PS Sadar alleging therein that on 12-04-2014 he along with staff were on traffic checking duty near Gurudwara cart road Shimla. During checking they searched the vehicle No.HP-01A-1720 driven by Pradeep Sharma S/O Sh Keshav Ram Sharma R/O Bandli PO Kiar tehsil Theog District Shimla and recovered 60 Bottles country liquor. Accused has been arrested and case is being investigated by PSI Jai Nand I/O PS Sadar.

During last 24 hours 121 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. 01challan under smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.16,800/-
