1.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 131/18 Dt. 06.07.18 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog has been registered on the rukka of ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.07.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff at Kui Curve near Theog, one person namely  Pankaj Chandel S/o Sh. Joginder Singh R/o Village & PO Kelvi, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 24 years, intercepted by them and recovered 25 gram Chitta from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Chand, I/O PS Theog. 

2.    A ND&PS Act: Case FIR No. 123/18 Dt. 06.07.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli has been registered on the rukka of ASI Rajender Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.07.2018 at about 06-45 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking on the road from Chini Banglaw  Bazar to Kufri, one person namely Vijay Chauhan S/o Sh. Prakash Chauhan R/o Village Kangar Galu PO Fagu Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 22 years, intercepted by them near Kufri Curve and recovered  06 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajender Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli.  

3.    A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 175/18 Dt. 06.07.18 U/S 21,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS West has been registered on the rukka of HC Narender Kumar No. 52, I/O Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Shimla alleging therein that pm 06.07.2018 at about 04-00 PM, during patrolling/collection of intelligence regarding illegal trading of narcotics drugs, one Scooty No. HP51A-1754 alongwith three persons namely Rajan Chauhan S/o Sh. Roop Ram Chauhan R/o Village Rangol PO Kohbag Tehsil & District Shimla, age 19 years, Yogesh Kaundal S/o Sh. Yashwant Singh R/o Kaundal Niwas, Lower Totu, Shimla, age 23 years and Rahul Kashyap S/o Sh. Raju Kashyap R/o Village & PO Darlaghat, District Solan, age 18 years, intercepted by them at Lower Totu (Totu-Jubbarhatti Road) and recovered 90 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 (Restricted Medicines) from their possession. The case is being investigated by HC Narender Kumar No. 52, I/O SIU, Shimla. 

4.    A ND&PD ACT: Case FIR No. 48/18 Dt. 07.07.18 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Nerwa has been registered on the rukka of ASI Gurudev Singh, I/O PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.07.2018 at about 10-05PM, during patrolling/nakabandi duty alongwith staff at Newati, one person namely Suresh Gopta S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Sinhana PO Marog Tehsil Chopal District Shimla, age 29 years intercepted by them and during the search, 02 Plastic Bottles of Codeine Phosphate Parvo, 02 Plastic Bottles of Codien Phosphate Qrex and 30 Tablets of Nitrazepam, recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Gurudev Singh, I/O PS Nerwa. 

5.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 124/18 Dt. 06.07.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Dhalli on the rukka of SI Hans Raj Addl. SHO PS Dhalli alleging therein that on 06.07.2018 about 08.45 PM when he along with staff was on patrolling/traffic checking duty at Dhalli Chowk he stopped one Alto Car No. HP03C-4518. During checking he recovered 12 Bottles of English & 36 Bottles of Beer from the vehicle under possession of Vijay Verma S/o Sh. Padam Verma R/o Thakur Estate Upper Chalonthi Sanjauli Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Hans Raj PS Dhalli.

6.    A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 134/18 dated 06.07.2018 u/s 406 IPC has been registered at PS Dhalli on the complaint of a lady alleging therein that she is owner of Vehicle No. HP01A-5034 (Maruti Omni). She has given her above vehicle to one person namely Amit S/o Sh. Narayan Dass R/o Vill.Mangli PO Purag Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla on lease of one month @ 15,000/- and in case of accident he will responsible. The above person neither paid the above amount nor return the vehicle till date.

7.    During last 24 hours 387 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 141 fine realized Rs. 76,500/-, 27 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,000/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act & Fine Realized Rs. 9,500/-.

Crime Report on July 06, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 129/18 dated 05.07.2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Theog on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand I/C PP Chailla, PS Theog alleging therein that on 05.07.2018 he along with staff was on patrolling towards Jei, Kyar etc. During patrolling he apprehended one person namely Sanjay Thakur S/o Padam Singh Thakur R/o Vill Khanewl PO Sarion Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla and recovered 24 bottles of Country Liquor and 12 bottles of Beer from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand I.O PS Theog.

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 59/18 dated 06.07.2018 u/s 39(1)A HP Excise Act has been registered at PS Chirgaon on the rukka of SI/SHO PS Chirgaon alleging therein that on the secret information he raided the Shop of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Chaman Lal R/o Aandhra Teshils Chirgaon and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Chirgaon.

3.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 77/18 dated 06-07-18 u/s 381 IPC has been registered at PS Kumarsain on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Kumar s/o Sh. Dila Ram R/o Beri P.O Kothi Tehsil Sadar Mandi Distt. Mandi Age 40 yrs. stated therein that he is owner of Truck No.HP65-6566 TATA 909 and on 04-06-18  when he was returning from Kinnaur along with conductor Haripal @ Salke r/o Nanspon P.O Neugalsari Kinnaur he stopped the Truck at Bharara Near Kumarsain and went to collect the cash in Kumarsain Bazzar. When he came back he found that conductor Haripal broken the Locker behind driver seat and stolen 1,50,000/- cash and run away. The case is being Investigated by H.C Sushil Kumar I.O P.S Kumarsain.

4.       A THEFT: Case FIR No. 133/18 dated 06.07.2018 u/s 457,380 IPC has been registered at PS Sadar on the statement of Sh. Hemant Goel S/o Sh. Miter Sain Goel R/o Goyal Niwas Khosla apartment near Nishant Hotel Top floor Fingask Estate Shimla stated therein that he run a Daily Needs Shop at Subzi Mandi Shimla. On 05.07.2018 when he reached in his house from the shop, he found that the lock of main gate of his house was broken by unknown person and stolen away gold and silver ornaments from the locker inside the almirah.

5.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 26/18 dated 05.07.2018 u/s 147,149,447,323,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Roop Dass S/o Lt. Sh. Rewa Dass R/o Gharyana PO Sunni Tehsil Sunni Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 05.07.2018 when he was working in his field’s at the same time Ram Lal alongwith his wife, daughter & two son illegally entered into his field abusing, beaten and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Dilu Ram PS Sunni.

6.    A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 27/18 dated 05.07.2018 u/s 147,149,447,323,504,506 IPC has been registered at PS Sunni on the complaint of one lady alleging therein that Roop Dass along with his wife and son illegally entered into his field and start working when she tried to stop them they became aggressive and started abusing, beaten and threatened her with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Krishan I/O PS Sunni. ]

Crime Report on July 05, 2018

1.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 84/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 04.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur on 04.07.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Nirsu. On the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the Dhaba of Ganesh Shahi S/o Sh. Manmohan Singh R/o New Nirsu PO Dutt Nagar Tehsil Rampur, Shimla and recovered 21 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1. The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PP Rampur.

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 90/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 04.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Ramesh Chand, I/C PP Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein on 04.07.2018 at about 09-00 PM, during patrolling/traffic duty alongwith staff near HRTC office at Sanjauli Bazar,  05 Boxes (60 Bottles) of Beer and 01 Boxes (12 Bottles) of English liquor has been recovered from the vehicle No. HP01A-5547 under the possession of Aashit Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Lakhpat Ram R/o Doctor wali Building, Below Coffee Café Day Sanjauli, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Ramesh Chand, I/C PP Sanjauli Shimla.

3.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 172/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West on 04.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Smt. Prabhu Devi W/o Lt. Sh. Tek Singh Thakur R/o Village Galog PO Bathalang Tehsil Arki, District Solan, HP, age 47 years, alleging therein that on 04.07.2018, she was going to her relative’s house at Hira Nagar. As she reached near NHPC Rest House, at the same time one Motorcycle No. HP62-1868, driver by Anand Kumar came rashly with negligent driving by overtaking Truck No. HP11B-2202 and hit with rear tyre of above truck, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Balwinder Singh, I/O PP Jutough, Shimla.

4.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 173/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-West on 04.07.2018 U/S 420 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sanjay Gupta S/o Sh. Kishori Lal Gupta R/o Vishwas General Store, Totu, Shimla alleging therein that on 27.06.2018, one boy & one girl came to his shop to purchase the mobile. After purchased the mobile, they made the payments through PAYTM. When he checked his account, above payment was not come in his account and above both persons have cheated him. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/C PP Jutough.

5.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 57/18 dated 04.07.2018 u/s 420 IPC has been registered at PS New Shimla on the complaint of Sh. Rupin Rekhi S/o Sh. Dharamveer Rekhi R/o New Land Annexe Ciruclar road New timber House Shimla-1 alleging therein that on 30.06.2018 one boy came in his shop and selected  one laptop Model No. HP Pavilions X360 Convertible 14-CD for purchase and made bill in the name of her Sister Sneha. He asked that he has delivered the money in his account through Pay Tm and asked to check the message in his mobile when he checked the SMS it show Pay Tm Successful. After that in the evening he thoroughly check his account he found that amount didn’t delivered in his account and SMS didn’t came from Pay TM. The above person intentionally cheated him for RS. 59,000/-.

6.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 121/18 dated 05.07.2018 u/s 420 IPC has been registered at PS Dhalli on the complaint of Sh. Inderjeet Singh S/o Sh. Sarvjeet Singh R/o Vill. Jubbar PO Durga Pur Tehsil Sunni A/o Preet Electronic Dhalli Shimla alleging therein that on 30.06.2018 one boy came in his shop and purchased one stereo of Sony & 01 pair speaker. He asked that he has delivered the money in his account through Pay Tm and asked to check the message in his mobile when he checked the SMS it show Pay Tm Successful. After that on 04.07.2018  when he thoroughly check his account he found that amount didn’t delivered in his account and SMS didn’t came from Pay TM. The above person intentionally cheated him for 7,600/-. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharam Chand I.O PS Dhalli.

7.     AN ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS: Case FIR No. 131/18 dated 05-07-2018 u/s 336,337 IPC has been registered at PS Sadar on the statement of Sh. HahdfdsafdffdfHarish Kumar S/o Sh. Tilak Raj Sharam R/o Vill. Bukhari PO AG Shimla-3 stated therein that on 04.07.2018 at about 09-00 PM Gagan Sharma S/o Sh. Mahinder Singh Vill. Bukhari PO AG Shimla-3 came at Bukhari Bus stop along with conductor Bantu in the bricks loaded Tipper No. HP63B-1601. They both came out from the Tipper and asked him that he will unloaded the bricks here. Suddenly, the said tipper start moving and driver Gagan tried to enter into the above tipper which rolled down from the road. This incident occurred due to negligent work of driver Gagan and endangering life or personal safety of others. The case is being investigated by HC Virender I.C PP Lakkar Bazar.

Crime Report on July 04, 2018

1.  A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 128/18 Dt. 03.07.18 U/S 21-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Sadar has been registered on the rukka of HC Puran Chand No. 128, I/O Special Investigation Unit, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.07.2018, during patrolling along with staff, one person namely Prem Kumar S/o Sh. Veer Singh R/o Yashoda Niwas, near Himfed Building, BCS, Shimla intercepted by them at Subji Mandi Ground, Shimla and Recovered 02 Gram Heroin from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Chand, I/O SIU Shimla.

2.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 47/18 Dt. 04.07.18 U/S 21,22,29-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Nerwa has been registered on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that on 03.07.2018, during patrolling/traffic checking, three persons namely Suresh @ Baby S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o Village Gartori PO Nerwa, Shimla, Kamlesh S/o Lt. Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Dhartua PO & Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla & Vivek S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Thachali PO & Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla intercepted by them and Recovered 10 Bottles of Pervo Caf. & 100 Tablets of Nitrazapam Tab. IP Nitrosun from their possession. 3.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 55/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 03.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sohan Lal I/C PP Sarswati Nagar (Jubbal) alleging therein that on 03.07.2018 at about 06-00 PM, during patrolling and traffic checking at Parahpul near Hatkoti, one vehicle No. HP10A-1293 stopped by them for checking. During search, 24 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1 recovered from the above vehicle under the possession of Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Dhan Sukh R/o Village Rohtan PO Mandal Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Sohan Lal, I/C PP Sarswati Nagar.

4.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 90/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 03.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  on the rukka of SI Ranjeet Singh, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein on 03.07.2018 he along with staff was on patrolling toward Koftu near Sharas, on the secret information he conducted raid in the Chicken shop of Ramdas S/o Sh. Thapa R/o Vill. Shahnal PO Kui Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla and recovered 12 bottles of Country liquor Solan Special from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ranjeet Singh, I.O PS Rohru.

5.     AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 46/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 03.07.2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Gurdev Singh alleging therein that on 03.07.2018 during traffic checking along with staff he apprehended one person namely Lokender Sharma S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Vill Basua PO Nerwa Distt. Shimla and recovered 24 bottles of country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated ASI Gurdev Singh I.O PS Nerwa.

6.    AN EXCISE ACT: case FIR No. 78/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 03.07.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI/SHO Baldev Singh PS Chopal alleging therein that on 03.07.2018 he along with staff was on patrolling at Chowkiya road. During patrolling he stopped one vehicle No. HP07T-0368 and recovered 36 Bottles of Country liquor & 24 Bottles of Beer from the car under possession of Sh. Inder Singh S/o Ram Lal R/o VPO Khagna Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO Sh. Baldev Singh PS Chopal.    

7.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 89/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 03.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Virender Singh S/o Sh. Lahana Singh R/o Village & PO Bhulad Tehsil Jubbal District Shimla, age 43 years alleging therein that on 03.07.2018, one Scorpeo No. HP10B-9095 hit his Weagon-R car No. HP10A-7037. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain, I/O PS Rohru.

8.     During last 24 hours 385 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 136 fine realized Rs. 57,300/-, 38 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 5,700/-

Crime Report on July 03, 2018

1.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 124/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-Sadar on 02.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rupender, I/O Special Investigation Unit, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.07.2018 at about 08-10 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Jagdish S/o Sh. Suka Ram R/o Village Chamba PO Jamblat Tehsil Sunder Nagar Distt. Mandi apprehended by them near Bentony Building, Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor recovered his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rupender, I/O SIU, Shimla.

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 125/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 02.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Dhanveer, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 02.07.2018, Const. Lalit No. 1293 has informed at PS Sadar Shimla that one person namely Himanshu apprehended by him alongwith liquor near Gurudwara at Cart Road, Shimla. On this information, he alongwith staff went to the spot and recovered 18 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No-1 from the possession of Himanshu S/o Sh. Sunil Kumar R/o Dhara near Sweety Building Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 26 years. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanveer, I/O PS Shimla-Sadar.

3.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 126/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 02.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Madan, I/O PS Shimla-Sadar alleging therein that on 02.07.2018 at about 09-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Sagar S/o Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/o near Guga Madi, Krishna Nagar, Shimla intercepted by them and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.-1, from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Madan, I/O PS Sadar.

4.     A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 83/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 02.07.2018 U/S 451 323 504 506 IPC on the application of Sh. Sher Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Madi Ram R/o Village & PO Nirath, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla alleging therein that on 29.06.2018 at about 08-30PM, one person namely Jai Pal S/o SH. Bahadur Singh R/o Village Charita, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla criminally trespassed in his house’s yard and started to abuse him. He also beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Kuldeep, I/O PS Rampur.

5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 38/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 02.07.2018 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Chet Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Girja Nand R/o Village Payojan (Gahan) Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla alleging therein that on 02.07.2018 at about 03-00 PM, one Ecomet Truck No. HP62A-2884, which was on the way from Narkanda to Nankhari, met with an accident near Badkha Nalah and rolled down 300 meter from the road. In this accident, four persons namely Kamal Kishore S/o Sh. Janak Bahadur R/o Village Pawar PO Salana, Tehsil Shimla, HP, ii) Ajay S/o Sh. Lal Bahadur R/o Village Kot Mihana, PO Chakku, Theog, Shimla iii) Avdesh Ram S/o Sh. Jag Mohan R/o Village Tudbhont, PO Bhont, Tehsil Shimla and one Lady have been died. The case is being investigated by SI/SHO PS Nankhari. 

6.        A THEFT: Case FIR No. 78/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-East on 03.07.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Prakash Chand R/o Village Majhar PO Beolia District Shimla alleging therein that he and his brothers are constructing a house at village Suetha and purchased iron rod marka Kamdhenu which was lying on the roadside near above house. Some unknown person has stolen away the 23 Bundles of Iron Rods in the month of December 2017. On 01.07.2018, they came to know that above Iron Bundles are lying outside the house of Virender R/o Village Damechi. During enquiry, Virender told him that two Nepalese persons Sukh Ram and Suresh have sold him above Iron rods. The case is being investigated by SI Raghubir, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla. 

7.     During last 24 hours 298 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 167 fine realized Rs. 75,200/-, 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,900/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & Fine Realized Rs. 7,100/-.

Crime Report on July 02, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 54/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 01.07.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kishan Chand, I/O PS Jubbal alleging therein that on 01.07.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff,  one Alto Car No. HP10A-6028 stopped by them for checking at Hatkoti Kainchi. During the search, 12 Bottles of Country liquor recovered from the vehicle under the possession of Sh. Devinder Thakur. The case is being investigated by ASI Kishan Chand, I/O PS Jubbal.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 57/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 01.07.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC  on the statement  of Sh. Raji Ram S/o Sh. Ranveer Singh R/o Village Bachari PO Ranol Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 01.07.2018 at about 05-30 PM at Bachari Kainchi, one vehicle No. HP10A-9795 driven by Yashpal S/o Sh. Charan Dass R/o Village Bachari PO Ranol Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla came rashly with negligent driving and hit him, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PP Jangla.
3. A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 77/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 01.07.2018 U/S 147 149 323 342 452 506 IPC stated therein that on 28.06.2018 at about 10-00 PM, her brother Kanwar Rapta, Ishwar Rapta and Gian Rapta, Joginder Rapta, Anil, Boby Sadmta & Anil etc. criminally trespassed in his house, beaten her brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ramesh Rana, I/O PS Chopal.
4. A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 123/18 has been registered at PS Shimla-Sadar on 01.07.2018 U/S 452 323 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajeev Sood S/o Sh. Desh Raj Sood R/o Ghoda Chowki, Darsahn Cottage, Ground Floor, Shimla alleging therein that he was constructing a signboard of his Shop as “Sood Sweet Shop”. At about 11-30 AM, Sh. Balbir Kukreja, owner of Hotel Victory alongwith Tushar and Ashu came there and started to abuse him. They have entered in his shop, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Himesh, I/O PS Shimla-Sadar.

2.    Accused Praveen Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Shyam Singh R/o  Village Batoh PO Bijmal, Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla, age 25 yrs. arrested in Case FIR No. 68/18 Dt. 20.06.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Chopal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3.     Accused Rajan Sharma S/o Sh. Umesh Sharma R/o  village Bhalaibara Teshil & PS Sarai, Distt. Majjafarpur, Bihar, age 29 yrs. arrested in Case FIR No. 76/18 Dt. 28.06.2018U/S 354 IPC & 12 POCSO Act at PS Chopal, is remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused Vicky S/o Sh. Basant  Singh Holta R/o Village Bamnoli Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 19 years Case Fir No. 53/18 Dt. 29.06.2018 U/S 379 511 34 IPC at PS Jubbal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.   

Crime Report on July 01, 2018

1.   AN ND&PS Act case FIR No. 126/18 Dt. 01.07.2018 U/S 18-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Theog on the rukka of HC Rakesh Kumar I/O PP Fagu (Theog) alleging therein that on 30.06.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/traffic checking & collection of intelligence towards Bekhalti, Bhalku Road & Chauran etc. At about 10-35 PM, when they reached on Bhalku Road near Bekhalti, one vehicle No. HP09A-3549, which was coming from Chauran side, stopped by them for checking. During the search, 93 Gram Opium has been recovered from the dash board of above vehicle under the possession of Sh. Hem Raj @ Bittu S/o Sh. Sohan Lal R/o Village Chhachheel PO Majhar Tehsil Theog District Shimla. The case is being investigated by HC Rakesh No. 114, I/O PP Fagu (Theog).      

2.   An Attempt to Suicide case FIR No. 171/18 Dt. 01.07.18 U/S 309 IPC has been registered at PS West on the statement of Sh. Narinder Kumar S/o Sh. Hari Ram R/o Village Shakrah PO Dhami, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 34 years A/P Posted Home Guard in Sub-Jail Kaithu Shimla stated therein that on 30.06.2018, he was on shift duty from 06-00 PM to 10-00 PM and Jail Warders Kishori Lal, Kuldeep Thakur, Roop Lal and Baldev Thakur was also on shift duties from 02-00 PM to 06-00 PM. At about 06-00 PM, during the counting of Prisoners, one accused  Shamsher Ali S/o Sh. Hamid Hassan R/o Village Davakhi PO  Mudakhedi Tehsil & District Muradabad, UP, who is under judicial custody in case FIR No. 46/18 U/S 457 380 307 IPC PS Jubbal from 07.06.2018, was found absent. During the search of Jail Campus, above accused found on the backside of Jail Barrack, who struck himself on stomach with vegetable cutter knife with the intention to commit suicide. He was immediately shifted to IGMC Shimla for treatment. The case is being investigated by HC Ravikant, I/O PS West.

3.   AN Accident case FIR No. 75/18 Dt. 30.06.18 U/S 279 304A IPC has been registered at PS Kumarsain on the statement of Sh. Jai Parkash S/o late Sh. Moji Ram R/o Vill Kepu PO Kirti Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla stated therein that on 27.06.2018 Evening one boy of his village namely Partap S/o Sh. Dayal Singh working in TVS Motorcycle Showroom at Nogli and Manoj S/o Jeet Ram was coming to home in the Motorcycle No. HP06A-5492. The above motorcycle met with an accident due to rash and negligent driving and rolled down into the satluj river. The dead body of above both person has been recovered from the bank of Satluj river on 30.06.2018. The case is being investigated by HC Bhupender Singh I.O PS Kumarsain.
