1. A Burglary case FIR NO. 75/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 06.05.2015 U/S. 454, 380 IPC on the complaint  of Smt. Sonia w/o Sh. Ajay Kumar R/o near Leelawati Hospital Khaneri Rampur alleging therein that on 06.05.2015, some unknown person has broken the door lock of her house and stolen away her gold ornaments i.e. Mangal Sutra, Banggles, Ear ring. The case is being investigated by Insp. Mathura Dass, PS Rampur. 
2. An Accident case FIR No. 31/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 07.05.2015  U/S 279,337,427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ashish Kumar S/o Sh. Suresh kumar  R/o Village Jarkot, Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt Shimla stated therein that on 06.05.2015, a vehicle No.  HP-10A- 4717 (Bolero Camper)  hit his motorcycle  No HP-10A-5036 at Navi Masli and damaged his motorcycle.  In this accident he alongwith his friend sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Rukkam Chand I/O PS Chirgaon.
3. An Accident case FIR No. 80/15 has been registered at PS Sadar today i.e. 07.05.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187  MV Act on the complaint of  Mr. Ram Rattan Sharma R/O Holly Day Home Shimla stated therein that today he was going  with his elder brother namely Ram Kishore Sharma  from Hotel HHH to Old bus Stand Shimla on foot. At about 09.30 PM, when they reached near Panchayat Bhawan, slightly ahead one vehicle No. HP-07D-1003 (Blue Car) came rashly and hit him and ran away from the spot. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The car hit the driver side of the car took the tunnel.
4. During the last 24 hours total 151 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded =82 and fine realized Rs 74,500/-

Crime Report May 06, 2015

1. A Rioting case FIR No. 106/15 has been registered at PS West on 05.05.2015 U/S 147,148,149,323,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Aniket Gajta S/o Sh. Rajender Gajta R/o Village & PO Sarahan, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he is studying in BA 4^th Semester at Govt. College Kotshera, Shimla. On 05.05.2015 at about 01-00 PM, after examination when he was coming out from college gate he saw that Akhi, Himanshu, Barsanta, Majnu, Manoj, Pankaj, Nikhil, Ajay, Shakti, Khimta, Vinod etc. SFI organization have beaten Kartik Bhota with rods. When he tried to save him, they also attacked on him with knife and pelting stones. They have also threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/O PS West.  
2. A Rioting case FIR No. 107/15 has been registered at PS West on the complaint of Sh. Himanshu Barsanta S/o Sh. Shyam Singh Barsanta R/o Village Nahar, PO Jiknipul, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that he is the student of B.Com, 2^nd Semester at Kotshera College Shimla. On 05.05.2015, he alongwith his friends was coming out from College. When they reached at College gate, 08/10 students namely Ankit Gajta, Subhash, Vicky Shamta, Kulbhushan, Rajnish, Sanjeev & Prince started to abused them. When they opposed, they beaten them and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.
3. A Burglary case FIR No 40/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 05.05.2015 U/S 454,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh Devi Singh Kaushal S/o Sh. Jeet Ram A/P Working JE IPH K/Sain R/o Hospital Colony Kumarsain allegomg therein that  he was working as a JE in I&PH Division Kumarsain. On 05.05.2015,  some Unknown person has broken the door lock of his quarter and stolen away golden Jewellary i.e. one Kitty Set, one Mangal sutra, one chain, one pair of Diamond Tops , one Diamond Pendal, two pair of Ear Rings, Finger ring, one Chak, 2 pair of silver bracelet, two pair ankle bracelet, and 3 silver Coins,& cash Rs. 5200/- from his almirah. One pair of golden tops stolen from the house of Praveen Kumar and RS 6000/-  has been stolen from the quarter of Dhani Ram. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachhi ram I/O P.S Kumarsain.

4. A wrongful restraint case FIR No. 32/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 06.05.2015 U/S 341,323,504,427 IPC on the  statement of Sh.  Trilok Chand S/o Sh. Mani Ram R/o Diudi  PO Pekha  Tteh. Chirgaon Distt Shimla stated therein that that today about 10.30 AM, he was coming towards Rohru  alongwith his father and brother in  his vehicle No HP-10A-7481  (Alto). When they reached near Makhinala, some unknown persons have obstructed their way & beaten them, They have also abusing them and damaged his vehicle & mobile. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru. 

5. A trespass case FIR No. 33/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 06.05.2015 U/S 447 IPC on the complaint of  Principal, Govt. Boys Sn. Sec. School Rohru  stated therein that the land of their sports hostel at Gangtoli  has been encroached by the Principal Himalyan Public School Rohru without any information. The case is being investigated by  HC  Parkash Chand I/O PS Rohru.

2. Accused Nandu Bura Thoki S/o Sh. Dal Bahadur R/o Village Kharawan, PO Badakoda, ooda No. 2, Anchal Beri, Distt. Salyan, Nepal age- 22 years and Chet Lal S/o Sh. Lok Bahadur R/o Dhamachhor, PO Dourichor Distt. Salyan, Nepal Age- 19 years today arrested in Case FIR No.237/14 Dt. 30-12-14 U/S 302 IPC at PS Sadar, today sent to judicial remand upto 18.05.2015 by the Trial court.

PRESS NOTE ON 05  May, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No 74/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 05.05.2015 u/s 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of Sh. Gaurav Singh, IPS (Prob.), SHO PS Rampur  stated therein that on 05.05.2015 he alongwith staff was on Nakabandi duty at Bazir Bowadi NH-5 Road. At about 04.00 AM, one persons namely Suresh S/O Sh. Prittam Singh R/o House No. 69, Ward No 8 R/o Village & PO Khirajpur (79), Tehsil Karnal Distt Karnal, Haryana age 33 years came from Averi Nirmond side, intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 300 gms Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by Sh. Gaurav Singh (IPS) SHO PS Rampur.
2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 15/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 04.05.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that on 04.05.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. At about  06.45 PM, when they reached near Kiari Bhuelaghat, one person namely Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Shyma Nand R/o Village Buelaghat, PO Purag, Tehsil Kotkhai has intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 06 bottles of country liquor (04 bottles marka Lalpari & 2 bottles marka Himachal Orange) from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev  I/O PS Kotkhai.
3. A Mischief by destroying property case FIR No. 33/15 has been registered at PS East on 04-04-15 u/s 435 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hira Nand S/o Sh. Hem Chand R/o Village Dogri, PO Galani, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 04.04.2015, he parked his vehicle No. HP-63C-0938 (M/Car) on the road side near CID office at Kasumpti Shimla. On the midnight at about 01-00 AM, he listened a noise. He came out from his house and saw that some unknown person has burnt his car. The case is being investigated by SI Ashish Patania, I/C PP Kasumpti.

A Disfigurement Act case FIR No. 105/15 has been registered at PS West on 05.05.2015 U/S 3 HP open the rukka of ASI Shiv Kumar, I/C PP Summer Hill Shimla stated therein that on 05.05.2015, during patrolling when they reached near Summer Hill Chowk and found that posters of ABVP organization was pasted on the wall of Post office at Summer Hill Shimla. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/C PP Summer Hill Shimla.
5. An Accident case FIR No. 29/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon today on 05.05.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prem Chand S/o Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village Gumma, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla stated therein that on 05.05.2015, he was going towards Rohru from Chirgaon in Private Bus No. HP-63B-9700. When they reached near Mandlipul, above bus met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Ramesh S/o Sh. Chet Ram R/o Village Bhetyani, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla and hit with hill. In this accident 31 passengers sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem Lal, I/O PS Chirgaon.
6. During the last 24 hours total 139 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded =81 and fine realized Rs 28,600/-

Crime Report on 04 May 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 102/15 has been registered at PS West on 03.05.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Suraj Kumar S/O sh. Lal Bahadur C/O Devender Bhimat Fakla, Kotkhai, Shimla, alleging therein that when he was driving the Truck NO. HP 14T-8514 Bharat Benz near Ghandal a Motorcycle No. HP 52A-8216 in which two persons were sit came rashly from Ghanahatti side and hit with his above truck. In this incident these two persons namely Munish & Suraj sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Yog Raj No. 87 I/O PS West.

 

2. An Accident case FIR No. 25/15 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 04.05.2015 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Devender Kumar S/O sh. Jeet Ram R/o Vill. Dargi, PO Sainj, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, alleging therein that on 03.05.2015 at 10.00 PM, a Tipper No. HP 63-1800 rolled down from the road. In this incident one person  namely Nagender S/O Sh. Tek Chand R/O Vill. Dargi, PO Sainj, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla died on spot and Driver  Yog Raj sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar I/O PS Sunni.
3. An Accident case FIR No 103/15 dated 03-05-2015 U/S 279 IPC 187 MV Act PS West has been registered on the complaint of Ram Krishan S/o late Sh. Parma Nand R/o Village Juni P.O Grawag Tehsil kot khai distt. Shimla . On 03-05-2015.He was going  to Hanuman Temple Shogi with his family and when he reached at shaklach one PVT Bus No HP 62 A 1486 came rashly  from  Shogi side and hithis vehicle . This accident has been committed by the negligence by the Bus Driver Sh. Roop Lal S/o Anant Ram. Case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar 83 I/o PS West

Crime Report May 03, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 55/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.05.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha, Shimla stated therein that on 02.05.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling towards  village Neruwa.    When they reached about 01-00 KM above from village Neruwa, one person namely Deepak Khatri S/o Sh. Khadka Singh R/o Village Tema, Tehsil & PS Dikhtail,  Anchal Sagarmatha, Nepal presently residing c/o Bhoop ram Sharma  Village Neruwa, intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 12 bottles of country liquor marka Lalpari from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 54/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 02.05.2015 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the rukka of HC Ramesh, I/O PP Fagu Shimla stated therein that on 02.05.2015 at about 02-15 PM, an information regarding accident received in PP Fagu. On this information, he alongwith staff rushed the spot at village Bjashada (Ghaneri) and found that one Maruti Car No. HR-10L-5902 met with and accident and rolled down 150 meters from the road. One person namely Pradeep S/o Sh. Prabhu Ram R/o Village Manla (Balog), age 20 years has died on the spot, whereas Anand S/o Sh. Rakesh R/o Village Manla, PO Kyari, age 20 years sustained injuries in this accident. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh, I/O PP Fagu.   
3. A Theft case FIR No. 169/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 02.05.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Smt. Prakashwati W/o Sh. Kailash Chauhan R/o Jubbal House, Old Police Chowki Sanjauli stated therein that she kept her purse on the counter of Shop and went inside the shop to recharge her mobile. When she came back and found that some unknown person has stolen away her purse alongwith one gold finger ring, one silver chain, cash Rs. 4000/-, Aadhar Card, Smart Card of HRTC, Voter I/D card etc. After checking the CCTV footage, she found that one girl wearing black shirt, Pink Stall & Pajami has stolen away her purse. The case is being HC Paramjeet Singh, I/O PP Sanjauli. 
4. A Burglary case FIR No. 100/15 has been registered at PS West on 02.05.2015 U/S 457 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vikas Chauhan S/o Sh. Prem Lal Chauhan R/o Village Rangol, PO Kohbag, Distt. Shimla stated therein that he is running a Lok Mitra Centre and his friend running garments  shop at village Kobagh. During the intervening night of 01/02.05.2015, some unknown person has broken the locks of their shops and stolen away 4 mobile phones, one camera, some documents & cash Rs. 1760/- from his shop and cash Rs. 50,000/-, gold & silver chain and clothes worth Rs. 50,000/- from Surender's Shop. The case is being investigated by SI Harish Kumar, I/C PP Jutogh.
5. An Accident case FIR No. 101/15 has been registered at PS West to day i.e. 03-05-15 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC PS on the statement of Sh. Prem Singh S/o Late sh. Uttam Singh R/o Village & PO Chaily, Summer Hill Shimla stated therein that on 03.05.2015 at about 09-15 AM, he was coming towards Shimla in vehicle No. HP-07C-1299 (M/Car) alongwith Ajay Kumar (driver) and Devdutt. Above vehicle met with an accident near Chaily due to rash & negligent driving of Ajay Kumar and rolled down from the road. In this accident one person namely Devdutt died on the spot and they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/C PP Summer Hill.  
6. During the last 24 hours total 123 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded =61 and fine realized Rs 18,900/-

Follow-Up

1. Accused Sonali D/o Sh. Suresh Chauhan R/o Village Nohraghat, PO Kyari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla Presently residing at C/o Suresh Niwas R/o Cemetery Sanjuali Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 169/15 Dt. 02.05.2015 U/S 379 IPC at PS Dhalli and recovered all stolen property from her possession. She produced before Ld. Court and her bail application has been accepted the trial court.  

Crime Report May 02, 2015

1. A Fire Incident case FIR No. 168/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 01.05.2015 U/S 285 IPC on the rukka of ASI Nag Dev, I/C PP Mashobra stated therein that deceased Mahesh Kumar S/o Sh. Abhi Ram alongwith his family were residing separately in the above story, whereas Abhi Ram alongwith his wife is residing in ground floor of his house. On 30.04.2015, after taking a dinner,  they went to sleep in their rooms. At about 10-00 PM, fire took place from the kitchen of the above story. Sh. Abhi Ram alongwith his wife came out from the house and saw that fire spread over the upper story. His son Mahesh Kumar alongwith his wife Hemlata, Son Dikshant & daughter Jyoti burnt in the fire and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev, I/C PP Mashobra.
2. An Accident Case FIR No. 79/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.05.2015 U/S 279, 304-A IPC on the ruka of HC Subhash, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla stated there in that on 01.05.2015 one vehicle No. HP-12A-4978 (Bolero) met with an accident and rolled down from the road near Kamyana,  in which driver Devinder Thakur S/o Lt. Sh. Balak Ram Thakur R/O Vill. Chadi, PO Tyarkoti, PS Dhalli, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla age about 38 years sustained injuries. They brought him to IGMC Shimla for treatment, where Dr. declared him brought dead. The case is being investigated by HC Subhash, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar.  
3. A Theft case FIR No. 99/15 has been registered at PS West on 01.05.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Jitender Dhiman S/o Sh. Jai Ram R/o Village Smayala, PO Hari Behna, Tehsil & PS Sarkaghat, Mandi A/P Worker in Shiv Enterprises, Totu, Shimla stated therein that in the intervening night of 01/02.05.2015, some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP-28-9850 (golden colour) parked on the road near his quarter at Majhyath. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutogh.
4. A Theft case FIR No. 14/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 02.05.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Usha Devi W/o Sh. Subhash R/o Village & PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla stated therein that in the intervening night of 01/02.05.2015, some unknown person has stolen away her vehicle No. HP-63A-2093 (Pick-Up) parked on roadside at Gumma. The case is being investigated by HC Bhumi Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.
5. During the last 24 hours total 149 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 01 Challan under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded =59 and fine realized Rs 20,100/-

1. Accused Ravinder Rana S/O Sh. Bahader Singh R/O Vill. Hadwari, PO Duni Tehsil & PS Parola Distt. Uttarkashi (UK) has been arrested in case FIR No. 20/15 Dt. 30.04.2015 U/S 302 IPC at PS Chopal, today sent to judicial remand for 14 days by the trial court.

Accused Prem Bahadur @ Prakash Bhadur S/O Ratna Bahadur Village Chowpha PO & PS Sakena Distt Rukkam Nepal A/p Night Guard of Pandey Market Adia PS Adra Distt Puralia W.B. arrested in Case FIR No 119/14 Dated 28/9/14 u/s 363,366A,376 IPC & 4 of POSCO Act PS Rampur,today sent to judicial remand upto 07.05.2015 by the trial court.

Crime Report May 01, 2015

1. An Accident case FIR No. 98/15 has been registered at PS West today i.e. 01.05.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & 184 MV Act on the statement of Kumari Jaya D/o Sh. Dula Ram R/o Village Gamrada, PO Solda, Tehsil Namhol, Distt. Bilaspur, HP stated therein that she is student of Nursing B.Sc 2^nd year at Modern Shiksha Samiti, Rana Sadan Annandale Shimla. Today she alonwith her friends Ms. Kiran & Manisha were waiting for bus at Annandale, at the same time Bus No. HP-62A-2855 of above institution, driven by Prakash Chand, came rashly and driver was using mobile phone and hit them and ran away from the spot. She alongwith her friends sustained injuries. The case is being investigated SI Virochan Negi, I/O PS West.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 29/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 01.05.2015  U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Prakash Chand  stated therein that on 30.04.2015, Sh. Jai Chand S/O Sh. Bhanu Ram R/O Vill Gadhali, PO Pujarli, NO-4  Tehsil & PS Rohru Distt. Shimla Age 34 years alongwith Jia Lal, Amin Chand & Bidhi Chand were going to home in his vehicle No. HP-10A-4332. At about 09-30 PM, when they reached near Odidhar, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Rajesh Kumar.   The case is being investigated by HC Prakash Chand I/O PS Rohru.
3. During the last 24 hours total 139 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 02 Challan under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded =67 and fine realized Rs 25,700/-
