Crime Report on Oct. 29, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 113/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain Shimla on 29.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dev Raj S/o Sh. Darsu Ram R/o Village Summa, PO Ogli, PS Sunni, Shimla, age 33 years alleging therein that today at about 07-45 AM, a Boleno Car No. HP03(T)-4108 driven by Praveen Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Kalsang Nargu R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Moorang, District Kinnaur came rashly with negligent driving  and hit a Scooty No. HP95-0298. In this regard, Scooty driver Lobh Ram S/o SH. Kewal Ram R/o Maholi, PO Teshan, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil, I/O PP Kumarsain. 
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 160/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 29.10.2018 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Smt. Sandhira W/o Sh. Sanjeev Kumar R/o Vill. Bashri PO Narain Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging there in that today at about 6.30 AM, one Maruti Van No HP10B-2971 met with an accident in which one person  namely Dinesh S/O Sh. Karam Dass Vill. Peja Chirgaon Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla, died on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Kartar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.  

3.  During last 24 hours 332 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 130,  fine realized Rs. 53,800/- and 07 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 700/-.

FOLLOW UP:

1.  Accused Sahil S/o Sh. Satish Kumar R/o House No. 2165, Rajiv Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh arrested in case FIR No.313/18 dated 26.10.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS West, today remanded in judicial custody by the Ld. Court.

2.  Accused i) Naresh Kumar S/o Sh. Sewa Ram R/o Village Kasha PO Kandi, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla ii) Jagdish S/o  Sh. Charan Dass R/o Village Shah, PO Dofda Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No.158/18 Dt. 27.10.2018 U/S 20,29,60 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur, are remanded in police custody upto 03.11.2018, by the Ld Court.

3.  Accused Vishwas Sagar  S/o Sh. Prakash Chand R/o Pahari Darwaja, Dhampur, Bijnaur, UP, arrested in case FIR No. 240/18 Dt. 28.10.2018 U/S 336 506 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody upto 01.11.2018, by Ld. Court today.
