Crime Report on Sept. 16, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 134/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 15.09.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on  the rukka of Sh. Priyank Gupta, Dy.SP (Prob) SHO PS Rampur alleging therein that on 16.09.2018 at about 10-55 AM, during patrolling alongwith staff near Bhaira Khad, 9 Gram Heoin has been recovered from the possession of Sushank Shelly S/o Sh. Mohinder Shelly R/o Ward No.-1, Kalyanpur, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. The case is being investigated by Dy.SP (Prob.)/SHO PS Rampur.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No.  99/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 15.09.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Mansa Ram, I/C PP Narkanda, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.09.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, a raid has been conducted in the dhaba of Balbir Singh S/o Sh. Kaul Ram R/o Village Nagadhar, PO Khuni, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla and  Recovered 09 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Mansa Ram, I/C PP Narkanda.
3. A DAMAGE TO PUBLIC PROPERTY ACT: Case FIR No. 112/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 15.09.2018 U/S 336 447 IPC & 3 The Prevention to Damage Public Property Act on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Kumar Rolaniya Manager (Tech.) NHAI, PIU Shimla alleging therein that the stretch of National Highway from Kaithlighat to Dhalli via Tutikandi, BCS, Vikas Nagar, Panthaghati, Mehli, Malyana is on progress. On 10.09.2018, he visited the site of landslide location near Mehli near panthghati Bus Stand where retaining wall was collapsed. During the inspection, he observed that one Mr. Madan Thakur is doing the excavation work in govt. land  and removed the lateral support of retaining wall on National Highway land for creation of parking space, due to which above retaining wall was collapsed and damaged the public property.  The case is being investigated by SI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 107/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 15.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Santosh Kumar S/o Sh. Dola Ram alleging therein that on 15.09.2018, one vehicle No. HP03A-0938 met with an accident near Lankarveer Chopal and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Shankar Dyal, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Moti Lal, I/O PS Chopal.
5. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 188/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli oin 16.09.2018 U/S 279 338 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shashi Pal S/o Lt. Sh. Karm Chand R/o Shera Niwas, North Oak, Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that on 15.09.2018 at about 07-00 PM, when he was crossed the road near Tripti Bekary at Sanjauli, at the same time one Motorcycle No. HP63-4464, driven by Hitesh Bhardwaj, came rashly with negligent driving and hit him, sustained grevious injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Lalit, I/O PP Sanjuli Shimla.
6. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 189/18 has been registerd at PS Theog today on 16.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Satish Kumar S/o Sh. Hiru Ram R/o Village Naya Janog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 16.09.2018 at about 10-30 AM, two vehicles  Scooty No. PB70D-1534 and Pick-up No. HP62B-1578 collided with each other on National Highway outside his shop, sustained injuries to Scooty rider. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay, I/O PS Theog.
7. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 127/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.09.2018 U/S 279 337 338 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar Khadka S/o Sh. Govind Khadka R/o Village Chohrata Ward No. 9, PO Peunak, District Jhajarkot, Anchal Beri Nepal, age 39 years A/P labour with Kaushal Singh Thakur R/o Village Jhatwari, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla stated threin that on 14.09.2018 at about 02-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP63-7540 driven by Narveer Mehta S/o Lt. Sh. Shishi Ram R/o Village & PO Jharag, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla,  came rashly with negligent driving and hit his son namely Gaurav age 4 years, sustained grevious injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod, I/O PS Rohru.
8. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 133/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 15.09.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Chand Karan S/o Sh. Dhanu Ram R/o Village Maghara PO Dofda, Tehsil Rampur District Shimla alleging therein that on 14.09.2018 at about 11-00 PM, one Bolero No. HP06A-6674 met with an accident near Dansa Kainchi due to rash & negligent driving of Guddu Ram. In this accident two persons namely Guddu Ram & Sukha Nand died on the spot and one person sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Kuldeep No. 132, I/O PS Rampur.
9. During last 24 hours 325 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=109 fine realized Rs. 38,200/- and 25 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2500/-.
