Crime Report on Sept. 15, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 131/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 14.09.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Ganga Dev Negi, I/C PP City Rampur alleging therein that on 14.09.2018 at about 03-50 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Sher Singh S/o Sh. Thakur Dass R/o Village Pali, PO Poshana Nirmand, District Kullu HP intercepted by them near Jagatkhana Bridge and recovered 52 Gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev Negi, I/C City Rampur.
2. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 132/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 14.09.18 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Lal Chand No. 116, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 14.09.2018 at about 08-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Gandhi Park Nalu Panihe, 15 Gram Charas has been recovered from the possession of Sh. Jagdish Chand S/o Sh. Surat Ram R/o Village & PO Baga-Sarahan, Tehsil Nirmand, District Kullu, HP, age 26 years. The case is being investigated by HC Lal Chand No. 116, I/O PS Rampur.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 49/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 15.09.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 184 185 IPC on the rukka of HC Ram Krishan, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.09.2018  one Motorcyle No. HP52B-4956 met with an accient near Petrol Pump at Bagain. In this accident, two persons namely Inder Singh S/o Sh. Ram Saran R/o Village Sawag PO Durgapur, Tehsil & District Shimla and Kuldeep S/o Sh. Ram Singh R/o Village Sawag PO Durgapur Tehsil & District Shimla, sustained inuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Krishan, I/O PS Sunni.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 97/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 14.09.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Dhyan Singh S/o LJt. Sh. Aami Chand R/o Village & PO Moeian Tehsil Nirmond, District Kullu alleging therein that on 14.09.2018, he alongwith his father Ammi Chand, Kulwant, Dhyan Singh & Rajneesh were going to home from Solan in his Swift Car No. HP35-4247. As they reached near Khekhar Nalah, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 200 feet from National Highway due to rash & negligent driving of Rajnish Kumar. In this accident one person namely Ammi Chand S/o Sh. Nikka Ram R/o Village Moien PO Nirath, District Kullu, age 70 years died on the spot and three persons namely Kulwant S/o Sh. Chander Prakash R/o Village Moien PO Nirath, age 20 years and Dhyan Singh S/o Sh. Ami Chand R/o Village Moien PO Nirath and  Rajneesh S/o Sh. Chura Ram R/o Village Soidhar PO Dalash, District Kullu sustained injuries.
5. During last 24 hours 258 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=118 fine realized Rs. 38,200/- and 19 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1900/-.

FOLLOW-UP:

1.    Accused Shingra Ram S/o Sh. Jaggan Nath R/o Village Alipul PO Rudki, Tehsil Garhshankar, District Hoshiapur, Punjab, arrested in case FIR No. 184/18 Dt. 12.09.2018 U/S 457 380 34 IPC at PS Dhalli, further remanded in police custody upto 17.09.2018, by the Ld. Court.
