A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 47/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 07.03.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Harish Garg No. 35, I/O PS East alleging therein that on 07.03.2017 at about 09-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Mohan Lal S/o Sh. Moti Singh R/o Village Mashrah, PO Dharchandna, Teshil Chopal, Shimla, age 21 years intercepted by them on Forest Road near Exercise Point (Ram Chandra Chowk) and recovered 19 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Harish Garg No. 35, I/O PS East.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 21/17 has been registered at PS Sunni on 07.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Tavender Singh, SHO PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.03.2017 at about 04-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Hem Raj S/o Sh. Narpat Ram R/o Village Bag, PO Reog, Tehsil Sunni, Shimla, age 43 years apprehended by them near village Devidhar and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor marka Una No.1 from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Tavender Singh, SHO PS Sunni.
AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 17/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 07.03.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Sunder Singh, SHO PS Jubbal, Shimla alleging therein that on 07.03.2017 at about 06-10 PM, on the secret information, he alongwith staff conducted raid in the shop of Ashok Kumar S/o Sh. Kanwar Singh R/o Village Jhagtan, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla and recovered 12 Boxes of Country liquor marka Santra from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Sunder Singh, SHO PS Jubbal, Shimla.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: case FIR No. 19/17 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 08.03.2017 U/S 341,323, 34 IPC on the application of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Jalona, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla alleging therein that on 07.03.2017 at about 5.30 PM, four persons namely Partap, Suresh, Devraj and Naresh Kumar have obstructed his & his family members way and beaten them brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar, I/O PS Chopal.
A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 20/17 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 08.03.2017 U/S 147,148,149,323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Parap Singh S/o Sh. Lachi Ram R/o Village Thana, PO Pulbahal, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla stated therein that on 07.03.2017 at about 5.30 PM, seven persons namely Liaq Ram, Montu, Sonu, Surat Singh, Sanjeev, Bittu and Hari Singh beaten them with axe, rods & pelting stone on them. The case in being investigated by ASI Partap Singh I/O PS Chopal.
During last 24 hours 422 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 149 & fine realized Rs. 54,000/- and 111 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 11,350/-.
INQUEST REPORT
On 07.03.2017 at about 03-45 PM, an accidental information was received at PS Nerwa from CH Nerwa. during the preliminary enquiry it is found that contractor of Forest Corporation alongwith other labourers was falling tree near Shikyar, which was supported by a rope. All of Suddenly, rope has broken and four persons namely i) Sh. Amirudeen S/o Sh. Shaffi Mohd. R/o Village Nali, PO Bharanu, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 58 years, ii) Mohd. Nabil S/o Sh. Bashir Ahmad, age 22years iii) Mohd. Nafisul S/o SH. Rajabul Hussain, age 22 years (both) R/o village Jalalpurkhas, Tehsil Bilari, Distt. Muradabad, UP and iv) Sukh Ram S/o Sh. Motia R/o Village Ajitpur, PO Nerwa, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 47 years come in the grip of rope and tree rolled down upon them. In this incident they all sustained injuries. They all shifted to CH Nerwa, from where one Sh. Amirudeen S/o Sh. Shaffi Mohd. died during treatment & other persons referred to IGMC Shimla. After autopsy, the dead body of deceased Amirudeen handed over to his relative for cremation.
FOLLOW-UP:
Accused Santosh S/o Sh. Niram DasR/o Village Kabul, PO Badagaon, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt Shimla, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 50/17 Dt. 06.03.2017 U/S 170, 186, 189 IPC at PS Sadar, is remanded in Police custody upto 09.03.2017 by the Ld. Court.
Accused Mohan Lal S/o Sh. Moti Singh R/o Village Mashrah, PO Dharchandna, Teshil Chopal, Shimla, age 21 years, arrested in case FIR No. 47/17 Dt. 07.03.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS East, is on police remand upto 09.03.2017.
Accused Prem Singh @ Premi S/o Sh. Aagar Dass R/o Village Kot, PO Salwana, Tehsil Rampur, Distt. Shimla, age 37 years, arrested in Case FIR No. 29/17 Dt. 07.03.17 U/S 376,506,341,323 IPC & SEC. 4 OF POCSO Act at PS Jhakri, is remanded in Police custody upto 10.03.2017, by the Ld. Court.
