Crime Report on Sept. 17, 2016

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 89/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 16.09.2016 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Ashish Kumar No. 58, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 17.09.2016, during patrolling alongwith staff at about 08-00 PM, one person namely Sandeep Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Bashla, PO Arhal, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 33 year intercepted by them near Arhal road Rohru and recovered 01 Bottle of Correx & 20 Tablets of Nitrosun-10 (Restricted Medicine) from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish Kumar No. 58, I/O PS Rohru.

2. A Trespass case FIR No. 220/16 has been registered at PS West on 16.09.2016 U/S 447 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Yashwant Singh Mahendru S/o Lt. Sh. Jia Lal Mahendru R/o Village & PO Jubbar Hatti, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 18.08.2016, one Mr. Jagdish Chand R/o Village Patina, PO Jubbar Hatti, Shimla has uprooted/ cut the 20 Pine trees from govt. land, with the help of JCB which belongs to Mr. Kamal Kishore Thakur during construction the road. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay, I/O PP Jutough.  

3. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 88/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 16.09.2016 U/S 341 323 IPC on the application of Sh. Hardev Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Janki Dass R/o Village & PO Rohru, Shimla stated therein that one person namely Balwan Singh obstructed his way and beaten him brutally, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Pawan Kumar, I/O PP City Rohru.  

4. During last 24 hours 487 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 224 & fine realized Rs. 57,800/- & 41 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 4,100/-

1. Accused Ramesh S/o Sh. Rajinder Kumar R/o House No. 403, Arjun Nagar, Kawali Road, Panipat, Haryana, age 28 years, arrested in case FIR No. 108/16 Dt. 26.082016 U/S 407 IPC at PS Kumarsain, is on Police remand up to 18.09.2016.

2. Accused Sandeep Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Amar Singh R/o Village Bashla, PO Arhal, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, age 33 year, arrested in case FIR No. 89/16 Dt. 16.09.2016 U/S 22-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Rohru, is being produced before Ld. Court.
