1. An Excise Act case FIR N0 232/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli
today i.e. 10.07.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Nag Dev
I/C PP Mashobra stated therein that in that during patrolling one
person namely Surender Kumar S/O Hem Kund Verma R/o Kidiya P.O.
Tatapani Tehsil Karsog Distt Mandi intercepted by them and recovered
15 Bottles of country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his
possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev I/C P.P.
Mashobra .
2. An Accident case FIR No 126/15 has been registered at PS Rampur
today i.e. 10.07.2015 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh.
Mohan lal S/o Sh. Kishu Ram Village Daklor PO Shingla Tehsil Rampur
Distt Shimla stated therein that today at about 7.00 AM he along with
his daughter Kavita were going to Shimla in PVT Bus No HP06A-1591 SKT.
When above bus reached near Macchada Pul driver Nittu Lost controll
over the Bus due to rash and negligent driving and Bus rolled down in
to Macchada Khadd. In this accident 1).Sh. Prem Raj Kapoor S/O Sh
Todar Mal R/O Kapti PO Gohar Distt Mandi age 49 years,2). Smt Hemesh
Kapoor W/O Prem Raj Kapoor R/O as above age 40 years 3). Amit Sharma
S/O Lt Sh Gotma Nand Village Dogri PO Koil Tehsil Nirmond Distt Kullu
age 23 years,4). Ved prakash @ Nittu S/O Sh Puran Singh Village
Damohar PO Narkanda Tehsil Kumarsain DisttShimla HP 5). Smt. Seema w/O
Laiq Ram Village Dainu PO Shivan tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla age 35
years6. Pankaj S/O Bacha Ram Village Mangolapur Tehsil Jalalapur Distt
Chapra Bihar age 25 years died on spot and 25 persons sustained
injuries. The case is being investigated by Insp/SHO Sher Singh. PS
Rampur.
3. An Accident case FIR No. 66/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on
09-07-2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kushal Chand S/o
Sh. Hukam Chand R/o village Bhamnala, PO Kutara, Tehsil Rohru Distt.
Shimla age 49yrs. Alleging therein that on 09-07-2015 at about
06-15PM, he was going to home alongwith his wife on his m/cycle No.
HP-10A-0779. When he reached near kansakoti and saw that a person
namely Uttam Chand S/o Lt. Dhina Lal R/o Kanera, PO Kansakoti,
Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla laying on the road side alongwith his
motorcycle. He sustains injuries on his right leg. The case is being
investigated by ASI Kundan Lal I/O PS Rohru.
4. An Accident case FIR No. 172/15 has been registered at PS West
today i.e. 10.07.2015 U/S 279, 427 IPC on the statement of Sh. Satpal
S/o Lt. Sh. Jaisi Ram Sharma R/o Shop No. 23, Boileauganj, Shimla
stated therein that on 09.07.2015 at about 11-15 PM, one vehicle No.
HP-09A-3542 (Pick-Up) hit his sweet shop and damage the shutter,
counter & sweets. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O
PS West.
5. An Accident case FIR No. 173/15 has been registered at PS West
today i.e. 10.07.2015 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Girdhar
S/o Sh. Heg Bahadur R/o Rolpa, PO Nerpa, Distt. Jugar, Ward No. 3,
Anchal Rapti Nepal, A/p Panchkula, Sector No. 17, House no. 93,
Haryana stated therein that on 09.09.2015, he is driver in Vehicle No.
PB-01A-4624 Tempo Traveler) and going back to Chandigarh alongwith
passengers from Shimla. Arjun Singh S/o Sh. Bhoop Singh R/o Pinjor,
Haryana driver in vehicle No. PB-01-4568 was also going back to
Chandigarh with passengers. When they reached at Durga Mata Temple
near Taradevi, Arjun lost the control over vehicle and it met with an
accident. In this accident Arjun Singh sustains injuries. The case is
being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/O PS West.
6. A Damage to Public Property case FIR No 38/15 has been registered
at PS Sunni on 09-07-2015 u/s 3 PDP Act 1984 on the application of
Assistant Engineer HP PWD Sub Division Sunni alleging therein that
some unknown person has broken the inauguration stone at Banuti Pahal
to Panail road. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar IO
PS Sunni.
7. A Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 171/15 has been registered at
PS West on 09.07.2015 U/S 323,504,506 IPC on the application of Sh.
Sanjay Kumar A/p Plumber in CPWD office at R.P. Niwas, Shimla-5 stated
therein that on 09.07.2015, he alongwith Vatnal Meena went to the O/o
Audit & Account General Shimla. They were sitting inside the
Electricity Service Centre. After some time Kishore, Wireman reached
on duty and abused, beaten and also threatened with dire consequences.
The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder, I/O PS West.
8. A Theft case FIR No 55/15 has been registered at PS East today i.e.
10.07.2015 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Vikas S/o Sh. Shishu
Pal R/o village Bhaladi, PO Ramathala, Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla
A/P Sharma Niwas Vikasnagar Shimla-9 alleging therein that in the
intervening night of 07/08.07.2015, some unknown person has stolen
away his vehicle HP-62C-1186 (Bolero Camper), parked on NH near
Saraswati Mandir School at Vikasnagar Shimla. The case is being
investigated by HC Tenjan Chhering, I/C PAR Vikasnagar.
9. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 174/15
has been registered at PS West today i.e. 10.07.2015 U/S
341,323,506,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Akhil Thakur R/o Village
Sharmala PO Mahauri, Tehsil Theog, Distt. Shimla stated therein that
he is student of BA 5th Semester in Govt. College Kotshera and also
secretary of SFI organization. Today they were offer newly students to
become members of their organization. At the same time students of
ABVP organization namely Nikhil Subhash, Kulbhushan, Kusu & Kartik
alongwith some outsider one of them was Atul Sharma came there, beaten
and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being
investigated by HC Anil Kumar, I/O PS West.
10. A Rioting case FIR No. 175/15 has been registered at PS West today
i.e. 10.07.2015 U/S 147,148,149,323,506 IPC on the application of Sh.
Nikhil Thakur S/o Sh. Shiv Singh Thakur R/o Village Rirka, PO Chaura
Maidan, Tutikandi Shimla A/P Students of BA 5th Semester at Govt.
College Kotshera stated therein that today when he reached at College
and found that some outsider students of SFI organization namely
Akhil, Munish, Tushar, Kimta, Sudarshan, Sankhyan, Chanderkant, Nand
Lal, Sahil, Panayak, Anmol, Sumesh & Atri were standing in groups with
sticks or rods in the campus of college. They quarreled, beaten him
a/w his friends and also threatened with dire consequences. The case
is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, I/O PS West.
11. During last 24 hours 250 vehicles were challaned under MV Act & 02
under smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 125 & fine realized Rs
44,500/- .
