Crime Report on 31 July, 2015

1. A Gambling Act case FIR No. 190/15 has been registered at PS West today on 31-07-2015 U/S 13 Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Virochan Negi I.O PS West alleging therein that on the secret information he alongwith staff raided the house of Jeet Rohal at Shoghi where 06 persons namely Virender S/o Chattar Singh, Virender S/o Bhagat Singh, Rajesh S/o late Sh. Om Dutt, Rajesh S/o late Sh. Jas Ram, Bali Ram S/o late Sh. Hari Krishan, Sunil Kumar S/o Chet Ram found playing gambling and recovered Rs. 1,01000 on the spot. Two person escaped from the spot by taking benefit of darkness. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi I.O PS West.

2. Mischief by Killing any animal case FIR No. 136/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 31/07/15 U/S 429 IPC on the complaint of Sh Lalit Bharati Forest guard Sanathli Beat Rampur Bsr alleging therein that today at  about 01.22 AM he received an information that one leopard has been killed near NH-5 Bazir Bowadi. On this information Police party of PS Rampur alongwith staff of Forest department rushed to the spot and found that some unknown vehicle hit the leopard and due to this injury leopard died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand IO PS Rampur.

3. A Theft case FIR NO 63/15 has been registered at PS East on 30-07-15 U/S 380/34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Tulsi Ram S/o late Sh. Gagdiya Ram alleging therein that he is posted as a Class IVth in HP Secretariat  Shimla-2. On 30-07-2015 when he went in the room No. 513 Armsdale building for sweeping the room he saw that Surinder Dogra was putting the CPU in plastic beg alongwith one person. On this he informed Sh. Sanjeev and Ran bahadur who immediately came on the spot. Surinder Dogra alongwith another person ran away from the spot. Surinder Dogra caught on the gate with the help of security guard while another person succeed to escape. Surinder Dogra alongwith another one person stolen the CPU allotted to Hira Lal clerk, 513 LEP branch. The case is being investigated by ASI Inder Lal I.O PS East.

4. An Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR N0 137/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 31.7.15 U/S 353,332,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Yashwant Singh Mate HPPWD Sub Div. Nankhari alleging therein that on 30.7.15 at about 4.45 PM when he a/w labourers was working in Punan TJGH Road Khamadi at the same time Sanjeev Kumar S/O Hardayal Singh R/O Punan S/T Nankhari came there and blamed that we are throwing Muck (soil & stone) on his land. When he asked him that they are throwing muck on govt. land Sanjeev Kumar who was under the influence of alcohol started quarrelling, obstruct him to perform govt. duty and also threaten with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar I/C PP Nankhari.

5. 110 cases of Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant have been registered at PS Sadar today on 31-08-15 u/s 188 IPC against the migrant labourers staying without registration and disobeyed the order passed by District Magistrate Shimla.

6. During last 24 hours 236 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 04 Persons challan under Smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 107 & fine realized Rs. 47,400/-

Shimla H.P. age 20 Yrs, Pankaj Kumar S/O Sh. Krishan Lal R/O VPO Bayla Tehsil Sunder Nagar Distt. Mandi. H.P.age 19 yrs., Karan S/O Sh. Madan Lal R/O Vill. Kaina P.O. Rouri Tehsil & Distt. Shimla H.P.age 23 Yrs. and Tarun Kumar S/O Sh. Rajinder Kumar R/O Azad Bhawan Shiv Nagar Totu Shimla H.P. age 21 Yrs arrested in case FIR No. 189/15 Dt. 30.07.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC PS West are bailed out today.

2. Ashwani Kumar S/O Sh. Madan Lal R/O Sipur P.O Mashobra Distt. Shimla and Surinder Dogra S/O Lt. Sh. Ramesh Chand Dogra VPO Tehsil and P.S Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur H.P have been arrested in case FIR No 63/15 Dt. 30.07.2015 U/S 380,34 IPC at PS East.
