CRIME REPORT 24 DECEMBER

1. An Accident Case FIR No.194/13 is registered at PS Rampur on 24-12-13 U/S 279,337,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mukand Lal S/o Sh. Lachmi Nand R/o Vill. Bagatli, PO Surad, Sub Tehsil Nankhari, alleging therein that on 23-12-13 at about 9.00 PM a Bolero No. HP-06A-2432 met with an accident near Balupul. Due to rash & negligence of driver Rajinder Singh fell down about 150 mtrs.. In this accident five persons died on spot & other five persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by SI Tilak Chand, PS Rampur.

2. An Accident Case FIR No.3/13 is registered at PS Sunni on 23-12-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Inder Singh S/o Sh. Hamir Chand R/o Vill. Teban, PO Karsog, Distt Mandii, alleging therein that on 23-12-13  a Sumo No. HP-1A-2493 hit his vehicle Maruti Zen No. HP-51A-0646 near Basantpur. This accident occurred due to negligence and rash driving of driver Ishwar Dass. The case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Sunni.

3. A Burglary Case FIR No. 260/13 is registered at PS West on 23-12-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC some unknown person have been stolen away Diamond set, golden Kangan,Two golden chain,Two lockets of gold, 3 rings, Mangle sutra, One set Kante, One set Jhum ke,Kitti set about 15 tola and currency notes of rupees 50.000/- near Post Office Totu. The case is being investigated by HC Sushil Kumar, I/O P.P Jutog.

4. During last 24 hours 184 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 10 persons were challaned under Smoking Act.  The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 22,200/-.
