During last 24 hours 239 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 27 person were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 31,300/-.

It is for the information of general public that No Objection Certificate of vehicles pertaining to District Shimla are now will be issued from the Office of Superintendent of Police District Shimla in Traffic Branch instead of SCRB Khalini Shimla-2. People can collect the NOC of all types of vehicles w.e.f. 02.12.2013 after depositing the processing fee.
