Crime Report on August 28, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 114/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 28.08.2018 U/S 20, 29 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Amar Singh, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on 27.08.2018 at about 11-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on NH-05, three persons namely i) Roshan Lal S/o Sh. Pune Ram R/o Village Jarot, PO Jaon, Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 24 years, ii) Gulshan Thakur S/o SH. Roop Singh R/o Village Bahwa PO Jadoli Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu,  age 20 years & iii) Ritesh S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village Ghunti PO Tunan  Tehsil Nirmand Distt. Kullu , age 23 years have been intercepted by them near Khaneri and Recovered  1.815 Kg. Charas  from their possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Singh, I/O PS Rampur.

2.     CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 89/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 27.08.2018 U/S 407 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rakesh Mehta S/o Sh. Gian Mehta R/o Village Badagaon, PO Bhutti Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that he is the owner of vehicle No. HP63-6327 (TATA) and depute one person namely Pathan @ Sanju R/o Bajaura, Distt. Kullu as driver in this vehicle. On 21.08.2018, he loaded the apple boxes in his truck and send to Chandigarh for sale.  On 24.08.2018, after sold apple, his driver Gamu @ Pathan collected the payment amounting to Rs. 34,000/-. On 25.08.2018, his Truck found parked near Petrol Pump at Narkanda and driver Gamu @ Pathan run away alongwith cash. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda.

3. During last 24 hours 292 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=199 fine realized Rs. 79,900/-, 17 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1700/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine Realized Rs. 7,500/-.

1.    Accused i) Vishal Chandel S/o Sh. Sher Singh Chandel R/o Village & PO Lakhan Pur Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur, age 38 years & ii) Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Nal, PO Raghunathpura Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 187/18 Dt. 23.08.2018 U/S 15,18,29 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, Shimla,  remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

Kullu , age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 114/18 Dt. 28.08.2018 U/S 20,29 ND&PS Act at PS Rampur remanded in Police Custody upto 30-08-2018.
