Crime Report on August 14, 2018

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 169/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 14.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ved Ram S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/o Village Bhalaiyan PO Tiyali Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 13.08.2018 at about 10-10 PM, after attended the marriage, he alongwith his Uncle Surat Ram & Aunty Smt. Devaku was coming to home in his vehicle No. HP09B-6455 (KUV 100). On the way near Sarog Mandir curve, at the same time one Pick-UP No. HP62A-1514, driven by Satyam Sharma S/o Sh. Ganga Ram Sharma R/o Thakur Niwas, Jawahar Colony, Bhattakuffer, Shimla, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his vehicle, sustained injuries to him.

2.    ASSAULT ON GOVT. SERVANT: Case FIR No. 79/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 14.08.2018 U/S 353 335 506 IPC in which complainant alleged that on 14.08.2018 at about 12-50 PM, when she was working on computer in investigation room at PS Chirgaon, at the same time two ladies started to scuffled with her, beaten and threatened with dire consequences during performing her govt. duty. The case is being investigated by ASI Achhar Singh, I/O PS Chirgaon.

3.    During last 24 hours 175 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 94 fine realized Rs. 44,800/-, 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2200/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 7,500/-.

Naresh Kumar R/o Village Loharli, PO Bakshad Tehsil Karsog, District Mandi, 3) Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Nand Kumar R/o Village Himri, PO Shorshan Tehsil Karsong, Mandi, 4) Kailash Chand S/o Sh. Kamlu Ram R/o Village Banthana PO Kushwa Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu, 5) Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o  HIPPA Fairlawn, Type-II, Set No.-8, Dhalli Shimla & 6) Jeet Ram S/o Sh. Jhile Ram R/o Village Kotho PO Shamti, Tehsil & District Solan arrested in case FIR No. 85/18 Dt. 12.08.18 U/S 457 380 IPC PS Kumarsain are remanded in police custody upto 15.08.20 18, by the Ld. Court.

2      Accused Vicky Sharma S/o Sh. Amit Sharma R/o C/o Harish Kumar, R/o Dev Nagar near Shiv Mandir Panthaghati, Shimla, age 19 years arrested in case FIR No. 85/18 dated 11-08-2018 u/s 21-61-85 ND&PS Act PS New Shimla, remanded in Police custody upto 16-08-2018, by the Ld. Court.
