Crime Report on August 20, 2018

1. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 161/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 20.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ashwani Kumar, I/C PP Mashobra, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.08.2018 at about 09-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Geeta Ram S/o Sh. Molak Ram Sharma R/o Village Shadi, PO Thaila, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 42 years apprehended by them near Kanaula road leading towards Gumma from Baldeyan and  Recovered 12 Bottles of Country  liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashwani Kumar, I/C PP Mashobra.  
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 102/18 has been registered at PS East, Shimla on 19.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Surender Kumar, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.08.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Suitha Damechi. At about 06-30 PM, on the secret information, a raid was conducted in the Tea Stall of Kamal Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Durga Nand R/o Village Suitha, PO Beolia, Tehsil & District Shimla at Ashwani Khad Shimla and recovered 11 Bottles of Country  liquor, from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Surender Kumar, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla.  
3. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 181/18 has been registered at PS Sadar, Shimla on 19.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ram Pal, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 19.08.2018 at about 08-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff one person namely Chander Bahadur S/o Sh. Tej Bahadur R/o Village Barbarpur, Bavai Village Palik-5, District Dan Anchal Rapti Nepal A/P Servant in P.R.J. Subji Mandi, Shimla, age 33 years apprehended by them near MC Groud, Subji Mandi, Shimla and Recovered 24 Bottles of Country  liquor, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Ram Pal, I/O PS Sadar.
4. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 49/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai  on 19.08.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Baggi, Shimla alleging therein that on 19.08.2018 at about 02-05PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Ratnari Bazzar, one person namely Pahal Bhadur S/o Nar bhadur R/o Vill- PachaBag Oda No. 2 Police Station Libang Distt. Rolpa Anchal Rapti Nepal apprehended by them along with 24 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Paradise Santra. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Baggi (Kotkhai)
5. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 230/18 has been registered at PS West, Shimla on 19.08.18 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Inder Singh Dhiman S/o Sh. Durga Ram Dhiman R/o Dhiman House, Daindha, PO Totu, Tehsil & District Shimla alleging therein that on 19.08.2018, he was coming to Shimla from Chandigarh in his Car No. HP51-6399 (Duster). At about 07-45, when he reached near Totu, at the same time a car No. HP63A-0606 (Duster), driven by Apurav Thakur, came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay, I/O PS West.
6. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No.   39/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 20.08.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Niram Singh S/o Sh. Lajji Ram R/o Village Shawat PO Khanyol Bangda Tehsil Khanyol Bangda, Tehsil Karsog, Mandi alleging therein that on 19.08.2018 at about 11-20 PM, he alongwith Naresh, Gopal, Sanjeev was going to Palyan to Tattapani in vehicle No. HP52-3830. On the way, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Sanjeev near Basantpur Block, sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Chaman Lal, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla.        
7. During last 24 hours 281 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 132 fine realized Rs. 82,600/- and 15 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1600/-

1     Accused Dhan Bahadur S/o Sh. Kalu Ram Nepali R/o Village Chlah Kot Bilbau Paki, PO Kudari, District Jumla, Nepal, arrested in case FIR No. 85/18 Dt. 17.08.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Jhakri, remanded in Judicial custody by the Ld. Court. 

2      Accused i) Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Dhyan Singh R/o Village Kood, PO Jais, Tehsil Theog, Shimla and ii) Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Village & PO Parala Tehsil Theog, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 171/18 Dt. 16.08.2018 U/S 279 364 382 34 IPC at PS Theog, remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld. Court.

3     Accused 1) Joginder Mehta S/o Sh. Jagdev Mehta R/o Village & PO Shamathala, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, 2) Manglesh Kumar S/o Sh. Naresh Kumar R/o Village Loharli, PO Bakshad Tehsil Karsog, District Mandi, 3) Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Nand Kumar R/o Village Himri, PO Shorshan Tehsil Karsong, Mandi, 4) Kailash Chand S/o Sh. Kamlu Ram R/o Village Banthana PO Kushwa Tehsil Nirmand, Kullu, 5) Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Gopal Singh R/o  HIPPA Fairlawn, Type-II, Set No.-8, Dhalli Shimla & 6) Jeet Ram S/o Sh. Jhile Ram R/o Village Kotho PO Shamti, Tehsil & District Solan arrested today in case FIR No. 105/18 Dt. 12.08.18 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Rampur released on bail by the Ld. Court.

4     Accused  Harbans Singh S/o Sh. Sohan Singh R/o Basti Baluaana Jalalabaad Distt. Feljlka Punjab arrested in case FIR No. 173/18 dated 18-08-2018 u/s 420,468,471 IPC PS Theog remanded in Judicial Custody by the Ld Court.
