Crime Report On August 24, 2018.

1.       AN ND&PS Act: Case FIR No. 187/18 Dt. 23.08.18 U/S 15,18,29 ND&PS Act has been registered at PS Sadar, on the rukka of ASI Mangat Ram, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla alleging therein that on 23.08.2018 at about 10-20 PM, during Nakabandi along with staff at Khulla More, one vehicle No. HP24A-2254 stopped by them for checking. During the search of vehicle,  50 gram Churapost (Bhukki) & 100 gram Opium has been recovered from the possession of two persons namely Vishal Chandel (driver) S/o Sh. Sher Singh Chandel R/o Village & PO Lakhan Pur Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur, age 38 years & Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Nal, PO Raghunathpura Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur, age 24 years. Above both accused have been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Mangat Ram, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

2.       AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 112/18 dated 23.08.2018 U/S 279, 337, 187 MV act has been registered at PS Rampur on the statement of Sh. Pritam Singh S/o Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Village Chandpur PO Kotla Tehsil Rampur District Shimla, HP alleging therein that on 23.08.2018 at about 01-15 PM, an unknown car hit his daughters-in-law Deepika & Trisah on National Highway near Gaura, sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Hukkam Lal, I/O PP City Rampur. 

3.       AN ACCIDNET case FIR No. 44/18 dated 24.08.2018 u/s 279,337,304A IPC has been registered at PS Nankhari on the statement of Sh. Neeraj S/o Sh. Ram Lal R/o Vill. Danawali Tehsil Nankhari Shimla stated therein that in  the intervening night of 23/24-08-2018, he alongwith i) Suresh Kumar S/o Sh. Dhyan Singh age 35 years, ii) Neeraj Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Lal, age 25 years iii) Ashish @ Ram Lal S/o Sh. Moti Ram, age 25 years, iv) Surender S/o Sh. Sita Ram, age 30 years & v) Dalip Kumar S/o Sh. Prem Singh, age 26 years, v) Hem Chand S/o Shanu Ram, age 27 years & vi) Sunder S/o Sh. Diwan Chand, R/o Age 32 years, was coming to home in Bolero camper No. HP03D-0499. When they reached near Khaloot (Dhona), above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down 150/200 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Suresh Kumar. In this accident four persons namely Ashish @ Ram Lal, Surender, Dalip Kumar & Hem Chand died on the spot and another three sustained injuries. The case is being investigated ASI Chaman Lal Negi, I/O PS Nankhari. 

4.       During last 24 hours 462 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded=159 fine realized Rs. 78,800/- and 16 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1700/-.

FIRE INCIDENT:

      Today i.e. on 24.08.2018 at about 08-AM, a fire incident took place in the house of Sh. Moti Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Bhawa Ram R/o Village Thaiwari PO Tangnu Tehsil Chirgaon, District Shimla, due to leakage of Gas cylinder. In this incident, house hold articles and jewellery amounting to Rs. 10/15 lacs have been destroyed due to fire.

FOLLOW UP

1.    Accused Sanjeev S/o Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village Dhar PO Majhar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 26 years arrested in case FIR No. 104/18 dated 20.08.2018 U/S 20,21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act  PS East, Shimla remanded in Police Custody upto 25.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.    Accused Ramesh Sharma S/o Sh. Dulchi Ram R/o vill Shilla Badlaog  PO Chambi, Tehsil Chopal, District Shimla HP age 36 years, has been arrested at 10.05 PM in case FIR No. 96/18 dtd. 21.08.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Chopal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.

3.    Accused Osheen Negi S/o Sh. Radha Krishan R/o Village Khangta PO Tikker Tehsil Rohru, Shimla, HP age 22 years, has been arrested case FIR No. 165/18 dtd. 21.08.2018 U/s 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Dhalli, remanded in Police Custody upto 25.08.2018, by the Ld. Court.

4.    Accused i) Vishal Chandel S/o Sh. Sher Singh Chandel R/o Village & PO Lakhan Pur Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur, age 38 years & ii) Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Madan Lal R/o Village Nal, PO Raghunathpura Tehsil Sadar, Distt. Bilaspur, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 187/18 Dt. 23.08.2018 U/S 15,18,29 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, Shimla,  are being produced before Ld. Court.
