Crime Report 29 November, 2014

1. An Accident case FIR No. 133/14 has been registered at PS Rohru on 28-11-2014 U/S 279 IPC & 187 M.V.Act on the statement of Sh. Virender Thakur S/O Sh. Atter Singh R/O Butara PO Kutara Teh & PS Rohru, Distt. Shimla A/P G.S. Hardware, Court Road Rohru Distt Shimla age 28yrs alleging therein that on 28-11-2014, he was watching TV in his room. He listened some noise from the road  and saw that one Bolero Camper marked as S.V.P bearing No. 4041(incomplete), hit the vehicle No. HP-10B-9061 & HP-10-2861 and run away from the spot . The case is being investigated By HC Parkash No 212 I/O PS Rohru   

2. A Theft case FIR No 73/14 has been registered at PS Chopal on 28.11.2014 U/S 379 IPC on the application of Sh. Bhopinder Singh S/O Sh. Ramesh Chand R/O village Jarai, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that during the intervening night of 26/27.11.2014, some unknown person has stolen his car, parked at main road at Jarai.  The case is being investigated by HC Gian Singh I/O PS Chopal.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 187/14 has been registered at PS Theog on 28.11.2014 U/S 279,304A IPC  on the statement of Sh. Narender Singh S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Lagaal, PO Majhar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 28.11.2014, he was going towards Mahasu peak. When he reached near Control Room Fagu, one Motorcycle No. HP-09C-2540 and Private Bus No. HP-62B-2540 were going towards Shimla. Above Bus driver overtake the Motorcycle with rash & negligently and hit the Motorcycle in which motorcycle rider died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Nain, I/C PP Fagu, Shimla. 

4. An Accident case FIR No. 235/14 has been registered at PS West on 28.11.2014 U/S 279,337 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Sher Singh S/o Sh. Gopal R/o Village Majhgaon, PS Rampur A/P Inna Lodge, Dhingle Estate, Upper Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that on 27.11.2014, he was going to quarter. When he reached near Victory Tunnel, Shimla, at the same time one vehicle, driven by  woman, come rashly and hit him. He sustained injuries in this accident. The case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.

5. During last 24 hours 170 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. & 12 Challaned under smoking act. Total challan compounded 75  and the fine realized Rs. 27,400/-

Follow Up

1. Accused Narayan Singh S/O Sh. Devi Ram R/O Dyandly (Kyar) PO Nerwa Sub-Tehsil & PS Nerwa Distt Shimla, Age 45 Years has been arrested in case FIR No. 41/14 Dt. 03.09.2014 U/S 354(D) IPC at PS Nerwa and is on police remand upto 02.12.2014.
