1. A vehicle Accident Case FIR No 55/13 Dated 5-4-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC is registered at Police Station Dhalli on the statement of Sh Dharam Pal S/O Sh Joginder R/O Vill Moolkoti Tehsil & Distt Shimla alleging therein that he is working as driver in car No. HP07C-0631 owned by Roop Dass Kashyap. On 5/4/2013 he along with his friend went to Mashobra and while coming back he gave the car for driving to Pinku. On the way they gave lift to a girl namely Reena. When the vehicle reached near Fairlawns, the car rolled down from the road due to rash and negligent driving by Pinku. The case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh I/O P.P. Mashobra.
2. A vehicle accident case FIR No. FIR No 56/13 Dated 6-4-2013 U/S 279,337, 304A IPC is registered at Police Station Dhalli on the statement of Sh. Tula Ram S/O Sh Kesh Bahadur R/O Vill. Chainpur PO & PS Chua Distt Kailali Seti Aanchal, Nepal. alleging therein that he is residing at Durga Nand Niwas Chopal and works as labourer. On 05-04-2013 he along with Moneshwar, his daughter Manju, daughter of Manju namely Radhika, her husband Sanjay Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Amar @ Boby came to Shimla at 6.00 AM in vehicle No. HP08A-1086. In the evening when they were going back in the above car and reached near Kufri at 7.15 PM, the car rolled down from the road. In this accident Moneshwar and Ramesh died on the spot and all other persons sustained injuries who were taken to IGMC for treatment, This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by driver Amar @ Boby. Case is being investigated by ASI Ajit Singh I/O PS Dhalli.
3. A breach of trust case FIR No.57/13 dated 06.04.2013 U/S 406, 409 IPC is registered at Police Station Dhalli on the complaint of the Sh Devi Singh Thakur Enforcement Officer/P.F.I E.P.F.O Block No.34 SDA Complex kasumpti Shimla-9 alleging therein that when he conducted the inspection of U.G Hotel & Resort Ltd. Shilon Resort, during inspection he found that during the period of 4/2011 to 2/2013 Mr. Umesh Phelpher C.M.D U.G. Hotel & Resort Ltd. Shimla Resort has deducted the shares of employees amounting Rs. 578808/- of contribution from their salaries and didn't deposit the same in the office of Employees P.F Org. Block No.34 SDA Complex kasumpti Shimla-9. The case is being investigated by PSI Babu Ram I/O PS Dhalli.
4. A Rioting Case FIR No.72/13 dated 5-4-2013 U/S 147,149,323 IPC & 3 PDP Act is registered at Police Station Sadar on the statement of Sh Hira Singh s/o Sh Kirpa Ram R/O Vill. Jhina PO Chmba Tehsil Chopal Distt Simla A/P security guard IGMC Shimla alleging therein that on 5/4/13 at 9.30 pm during annual function of Para Medical Students, When he was present on his duty in Auditorium Dining Hall IGMC Shimla , Suddenly about 60/70 students of M.B.B.S forcibly tried to enter the Auditorium Dining Hall with sticks in their hands. He he tried to stop them but they forcibly entered the Dining Room and broke the door of the Dining Hall and ran away from the spot.
5.A vehicle THEFT case FIR No. 59/2013 is registered at Police Station West Shimla on 05/04/13 U/S 379 IPC on the report of Sh. Vinod Kumar S/O Sh. Subhash Chand R/O Vill. Narwana Bazar P/O Yol Tehsil & P.S. Dharamshala Distt.Kangra A/P Nika Ram Bhawan Totu P/O Totu Shimla HP alleging therein that he is owner of vehicle No. HP-39B-7999 and on 01/04/13 at about 4-00 P.M he has properly locked and parked his above vehicle near Totu. On 02/04/13 when he checked his vehicle he found it missing from the place of parking. Some un-known person has stolen his vehicle. The case is being investigated by I/O S.I. Harish Kumar I/C P.P. Jutogh.
6.During last 24 hours 228 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules, 08 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Product Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of Challans under MV& COPTA Act is Rs. 50,600/-.
