CRIME REPORT 07 OCTOBER

1.     A Wrongful Restraint Case FIR No. 157/13 is registered at P.S Rampur on 07-10-13 U/S 341,143, 147 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shravan Kumar S/o Lt.Sh. Jagdish R/o Jamsai, PO & Teh. Sarkaghat, Distt Mandi, alleging therein that he is a driver of HRTC Bus No. HP63-0297 when he reached near old bus stand Rampur the workers of CITU Bihari Lal, Pooran Thakur and others about 150 people blocked traffic on NH 22 from 12.15PM to 12.50 PM and shouted slogans against government against hike in bus fare. The Case is being investigated by ASI Ramesh Chand. I/O PS Rampur.

2.     A Theft Case FIR No. 189/13 is registered at P.S Sadar on 07-10-13 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Aman  Sood S/o Sh. Narinder Mohan Sood  R/o Vill. Doonkara, PO Jari, Tehsil & Distt Kullu, alleging therein that on 6-10-13 he was parked his vehicle behind State Bank of India at night hours. Some unknown person broken the Back side Glass of Vehicle No. HP66A- 1500 Pajero sports and stolen away a suitcase. The case is being investigated by PSI Jai Nand I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.

3.     A Wrongful Restraint Case FIR No. 199/13 is registered at P.S.West on 06.01.2013 U/S 341,342,323,147,149 IPC on the statement of Suraj Negi, alleging therein that when he was  going  to store  from  his  shop  alongwith Naginder Sharma then Kulbinder Singh, his brother Dimlpy, Surinder and 2-3 other boys  beaten him and pushed him inside the vehicle No. HP-63B-1220 and took him away to Police Chowki Jutog. On this incident he sustained  injury on his face. The Case is being investigated by SI Harish Kumar,I/C PP Jutogh.

4.      A Wrongful  Restraint  Case FIR No. 200/13 is registered at P.S West on 07-10-13 U/S 143,341 IPC & 109,110,115 Police Act. on the  report of  ASI Mast Ram, alleging  therein that when he was present Victory tunnel about 40-50  workers of CPI(M) including Sanjay Chauhan Mayor and Tikender Panwar Deputy Mayor came there and sat on the road without  permission. They obstructed the road & shouted slogans against Govt. against hike in bus fare. The Case is being investigated by LHC Ramesh  Lata, I/O PS West.

5.     During last 24 hours 169 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 05 persons were challaned  under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 19,200/-.

CRIME REPORT 06 OCTOBER

1.         A Wrongful Restraint  Case FIR No.93/13 is registered at PS East on 05.10.13 U/S 341, 325,34 IPC on the statement  of  Sh Kanwaljit  Singh Student of APG University Shimla, alleging therein that  on 04.10.13  three student of  APG University namely Shubham, Amol and Manoj beaten him in front of the reception of University. After the medical examination of Mr Kanwaljit Singh and  MLC received  on 05.10.13 from IGMC Shimla. M.O, IGMC Shimla mentioned the nature of injuries grievous.  The Case  is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand I/O PP Kasumpti Shimla.

2.           A Cheating Case FIR No 94/13 is registered at PS East on 06.10.13 U/S 420,120B IPC &7 of HP Prevention of Mall practices & Board and University Exam Act 1984 on the complaint of Sh Neem Raj Invigilator Row No II. HP PSC Hall No -1 Nigam Vihar Shimla, alleging therein that Sh Manish Sharma Ticket No 100045 ,Roll No 1202001261 was appearing in the Exam of Delhi Police ,CAPFS and Astt Sub Inspector in CISF and intelligence Exam during checking he Caught with electronic device i.e Bluetooth and Mobile Phone. Accused arrested  and  case is being  investigated by ASI Sehdev I/O P.S East Shimla.

3.          A Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant Case FIR No 198/13 is registered at PS West Shimla on 06.10.13 U/S 188 IPC on the complaint of Shiv Choudhary Dy.S.P. Cum-Chief security officer  H.P. University Shimla -5, alleging therein that on 06.10.13 at 5 AM  when  he checked  Boys hostels   alongwith ,A.S.P. Shimla , Chief Warden of the H.P. University Shimla-5, SHO PS Boileauganj and found that one namely Sh. Nand Lal was staying in the SBS Hostel Room No 316 and 2nd Sh.Puneet Dhanta was also staying illegally in the room no 105 in YSP Hostel. This is the clear to cut violation of the orders of the Hon,ble High Court  and H.P. University Hostel rules. The Case is investigated by HC Suresh Kumar  I/O. P.P. Summer Hill. 

4.          A Wrongful Restraint  Case FIR No 47/13 is registered at PS Jhakri on . 05.10.13 U/S 451,323, 506, 34 on the statement of  Som . Bahadur Lamba S/o Sh. Bamb Bhadur Vill. Coaching Dada Bahara Beesh Teh Chotara Distt. Sandhupal Chowk  Anchal Bagmati Nepal, Sh. Dorje Lamba S/o Sh. Pasang Lamba vill. Pasas P.O Mangal Pare  Teh. Chotara Distt. Sindhupal Chowk Nepal Anchal Vari & Deepak Siekeyea S/o Sh. Tulsi Siekeyea Vill. Guru Bandha P.O Urang  Teh. Maswat Distt. Darang (Aasam),alleging therein that on 04.10.13 at about 5:15 PM when they seated their room together in that time a person namely Krishan S/o Lt. Sh. Hari Dass & another person namely  Sandeep S/o  Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Vill. Nanti P.O  Fancha Teh. Rampur Distt. Shimla came in their room in drunken condition & beaten all of them with kicks & punches & threatened them. The Case is being investigated by ASI Bhoop Singh I/C PP Jeori.

5.          An Attempt to Murder Case FIR No 185/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla  on 05.10.13 U/S 341,147,148, 149, 307 on the complaint of Sh Surinder Kumar S/o Sh Dev Ram R/O Vill. Chnardi  PO Bharari ghat P.S Darlaghat Tehsil Arki Distt Solan A/P M.A Eng. III rd Sem Evening College Shimla, alleging therein that  on 05.10.13 he was going to his Collage Class Room when he reached collage Campus at 5.10 PM suddenly 8/10 boys of A.B.V.P Namely Atul, Munish, Raman, Prince, Praveen Kaka Kaul Negi, Kerta and Piyush wrongful Restraint and assaulted on him with stick. In this incident he got injuries.  The Case is being investigated by ASI Lachmmi Singh  I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.

6.          An Attempt to Murder Case FIR No 186/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 05.10.13 U/S 147, 148, 149, 307 IPC on the complaint of Sh Atul Sharma S/o Sh Liaq Ram R/o Vill. Sarkali PO Saraha Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla AP Bansal Kunj Housing Board Colony Sanjauli alleging therein that on 05.10.13 he was going to Evening college when he reached College campus at 5.30 PM suddenly Some students of SFI namely Surinder , Satish , Piyush  Chander Kant Pawan and Roni attacked on him with Stick. In this incident he and Kewal Ram got Injuries. The Case is being investigated by SI Dharam Singh I/O  PS Sadar  Shimla.

7.         An Accident FIR No 187/13is registered at PS  Sadar Shimla on 05.10.13 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 M.V Act on the complaint of Sh Kumar Gourav S/o Rakesh R/o Lovely Cottage 130 Krishna Nagar Shimla ,alleging therein that on 05.10.13 at about 7.45 PM he was going from Kali Bari to his House Krishna Nagar when he reached near Old I.S.B.T A Motor Cycle No HP-52A-1965 came from Old I.S.B.T Side and hit him, due to which he received injury on his legs and arms and the Driver ran away with Motor Cycle from the Spot. Case Investigated by HC Puran Chand I/O  PS Sadar  Shimla.

8.      Snatching Case FIR No 188/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 06.10.13 U/S 356, 379 IPC on the complaint of Smt Vinita W/o Sh Sandeep VPO Katrain Tehsil & Distt Kullu A/P DDU Nursing Hospital Shimla, alleging therein that today at 7.45 AM She was going to attend her Duty in DDU ZH Hospital when She reached below DDU ZH Hospital a unknown person snatched her Chain and Mobile phone Nokia 5800 and ran away from the spot . The Case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand  I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.        

9.         During last 24 hours  211 vehicles were challaned  by Shimla  Police under MV Act . &  11  persons were challaned  under COTPA (Cigarette &  Other Tobacco Act 2005), 01 chanllaned  under Mining Act.  The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act is Rs. 38,400/-

CRIME REPORT 05 OCTOBER

1.     An Accident Case FIR No. 45/13 is registered at PS   Kotkhai on 4.10.13 U/S 279,337, 304A IPC on the statement of Gian Chand  S/o Hari Dutt R/o Jol  P.O Rawlakayar  Teh. & PS  Kotkhai, alleging therein that on 03.10.13 at about 7.30 PM vehicle No. HP63-1602  Bolero Camper met with an accident near Janol and fell down about 300 ft. Rash and negligent driving of Kishori Lal S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Khalawal  The Kotkhai  Distt Shimla due to which he alongwith  three  person got injured and one person namely Ajeet Bahadur died in this incidents. The case is being investigated by ASI Muni Lal I/O PS Kotkhai  Distt. Shimla.

2.     During last 24 hours  267 vehicles were challaned  by Shimla  Police under MV Act . &  04 persons were challaned  under COTPA (Cigarette &  Other Tobacco Act 2005),  The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act is Rs. 31,800/-

CRIME REPORT 04 OCTOBER

1.                 An Accident  Case FIR No.44/13 is registered at  PS Nerwa on 4-10-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Kundan Singh S/o of Sh.  Dhyan Singh village Bhatgarh  P.S Nerwa alleging therein that on to day morning at 04:00 AM he listen the noise about the accident at ganghat and rushed to spot and found that a  veh. No. UK-CA-3249 (Pickup) met with an accident in the side of Shalvi River about 300 Metter from Road and two people Namely Rati Ram and Drive of veh. Dinesh Kumar got injury in this accident. As per the spot inspection this accident has caused with the negligent driving of driver Dinesh Kumar. The injured person is admitted in the civil Hospital Nerwa. The case is being investigated  by HC Hem Raj I/O  PS Nerwa.

2.                 A Burglary Case FIR No 197/13is registered  PS  West Shimla on 3.10.2013 U/S 457,380 on the Complaint of Hamender Thakur V.O. ABC AR Prog. MC Shimla near Mental Hospital near Panjari, alleging therein that on the intervening night of 2/3-10-2013 some unknown person has broken the window and entered in the room  and stolen the water Purifier, an electric cattle & a set of surgical instrument. The case is being investigated by HC Keshav No 21 I/O P.S. West.

3.                 An Accident Case FIR No 135/13  is registered  at  PS Theog on 03-10-13 U/S 279,337 IPC on the report of  PSI Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS Theog, alleging therein that  alleged that on dt 3-10-13 at 6-45 pm one truck no hp62-1556 coming from Chandigarh to Gallo and fall down 30-32 mtr from the road at housing board colony at Gallo. The Truck is driving by Raju S/o chimna R/o Jadoon P.O Kelvi  Teh. Theog distt Shimla and two people sitting in the truck cabin and two Nepali people sitting on the truck dala. All persons are got injuries this accident. The accident found due to rash and negligent driving of the truck driver. The case is being investigated by PSI Sanjeev Kumar I/O PS Theog.

4.                 An Accident Case F.I.R No 184/13is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 03.10.13 U/S 279 IPC & 187 M.V Act on the complaint of Sh Rakesh Kumar driver Vehicle No HP07B- 0777 D.C Office Shimla, alleging there in that on 3/10/13 at 4.40 pm he was going from D.C Office to Chotta Shimla in Govt Vehicle when he reached near Old I.S.B.T Shimla a driver of Vehicle No DL8C-S-1958 suddenly came very rashly from Lift side and hit  car No HP07B- 0777 . The driver ran away along with vehicle from the spot. The Case is being investigated by ASI Lachhmi Singh I/O  PS SADAR  Simla

5.                 During last 24 hours 176 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 08 persons were challaned under  COTPA. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 26,900/-.

CRIME REPORT 03 OCTOBER

1.     AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 44/13 is registered at Police Station Kotkhai on 03.10.13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sanjeev Chauhan S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Mandroli, P.O Darkoti, Teh. Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 03-10-13 at about 11.45AM a Nano Car No. HP09C-1133  met with an accident near Barvi (Nihari). In this accident Dvr. Hira Singh S/o Sh. Bali Ram R/o Vill. Gazta, PO Darkoti, Teh. Kotkhai & Ranjor Singh S/o Dhumi Singh R/o Vill. Parshal, Teh. Kotkhai died on the spot. The  above  incident due to rash and negligent driving of driver Hira Singh. The Case is being investigated by HC Roshan Lal, I/O PS Kotkhai.

2.     A RIOTING Case FIR No. 194/13 is registered at Police Station West on     03-10-13  U/S 307, 147, 148, 149, 323, 506 IPC on the statement of  Vivek Rana S/o Sh. Mehar Singh A/P student of Law Department, 5^TH Semester, HPU, Shimla, alleging therein that when he  alongwith Gopal, Hoshiyar, Dumera, Yogesh Negi, Vipan Chamiyar & Nand Lal were going to HPU from their room,  near Summer Hill Chowk students of ABVP named Ashish Shingta, Devansh, Jagdeep, Naresh Dajata, Ajay Thakur, Chander Kant, Amit Kumar, Maheshwar, Rajnish, Virender, Bhuneshwar, Mandeep, Kamal, Vikas, Navneet, Kushal Kaundal, Kamaljeet, Gautam, Gaurav, Babu Ram, Naveen Saklani, Mohar Singh & Promod came there & attacked them with Darat, sticks & rods, in this attack  Gopal & Hoshiyar sustained grievous injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Kumar, I/C PP Summer Hill.  

3.     A RIOTING Case FIR No. 195/13 is registered at Police Station West on     03-10-13 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323 IPC on the statement of  Malkit  Walia S/o Sh. Ramji Walia A/P HPU Shimla, alleging therein that while he alongwith Vipan was going towards Seminar Hall, students of SFI namely Sumit Danta, Rana alongwith 3/4 students came there & attacked them with Khukhari, Sticks & rods,  in this attack complainant & Vipan sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.

4.     During last 24 hours 167 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 01 persons were challaned under Mining Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 19,700/-.

CRIME REPORT 02 OCTOBER

1.                 AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 60/13 is registered at Police Station on 02.10.13 U/S 279,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Yog Raj S/o Sh. Mohan Lal VPO Tikkri Tehsil Chirgaon, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on  1/2.10.13 (Midnight) a Bolero Camper No. HP10A-4261 met with an accident near Block office Chirgaon. The  above  incident due to rash and negligent driving of Driver Rajinder Singh S/o Sh. Sagar Dass R/o Vill. Larot,  Tehsil Chirgaon. In this accident Dvr.Rajinder Singh and his brother Harinder Singh died on the spot. The Case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Kumar I/O PS Chirgaon.

2.                 A THEFT Case FIR No. 156/13 is registered at Police Station Rampur on 01-10-2013 U/S 379 , 34 IPC on the application of Smt. Fula Devi R/o  Nalti Nalla , Sidhu & Agar  Dass R/o  Batuna Teh. Rampur through U/S 156 (3) Cr.PC by ACJM Rampur, alleging therein that all the complainant were owner of  GHARAT situated near  IPH  Intek  Jawadi. Sh. Bhagwan Dass contractor awarded IPH Creatable work at Jawadi, they have permanent labourer , they put there  GHARAT  Stone and fixed in wall and taken away.  Due  to  above  created  wall,  GHARAT has been totally damaged.  The case is being investigated by ASI Karam Chand, I/O PS Rampur.

CRIME REPORT 01 OCTOBER

1.             A DANGER OR OBSTRUCTION IN PUBLIC WAY OR LINE OF NAVIGATION  Case FIR No. 167/13 is  registered at  PS Dhalli  on 30.9.13 U/S 283 IPC on the  report of  HC Ramesh Kumar No.136 I/O PS Dhalli , alleging therein that  on  30-9-13 when  he was on patrolling near  Hassan Vally at about 4-15PM two person namely Shish Pal & Amit Kumar lying chariot on the road NH-22 for the purpose feeding Chola Kulcha .  The Case  is being  investigated by HC Ramesh  Kumar I/O PS Dhalli .

2.            A   ND &  PS  Case FIR No 168/13 is registered at PS Dhalli  on  30.9.13 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the  report of  ASI Shiv Kumar I/C PP Sanjauli , alleging therein that  when he was on patrolling near Sanjauli Chowk a person namely Lokinder Singh S/o Sh  Balbir Singh R/o Vill Banoda P/O Ghandhari  Tehsil Sunni Distt  Shimla found on saw police party he run away. After capturing him police found 12gm  & 250mg Charas in his pocket .  The  Case is being  investigated  by  ASI Shiv Kumar I/C PP Sanjauli.

3.              A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST  BY PUBLIC SERVANT   Case    FIR No166/13 is registered  at PS Dhalli on 30.9.2013 U/S 409 IPC  on  the Complaint Sh. Kishor Krishan Sharma Joint Controller H.P Public Administration Fair-Lawns Shimla,alleging therein that on  30.09.13 at 9.00 AM Sh. Gopal Singh Chowkidar informed him that his   office  Computer along with accessories  misplaced  from the  ground floor of the office . The Case is being investigated by ASI Ajit Singh I/C PP Sanjauli.

4.                 A ND &  PS Case  FIR No. 49/13 is registered at police Station New Shimla on 01.10.13  U/S 20-61-85  ND & PS   Act.,on the  report  of  HC Inder Singh No.110  I/O PS  New Shimla that on 01.10.13 at about 13.15 PM when he was on patrolling duty with police staff at sector-5, phase-3,link path towards BCS one person namely Virender Singh S/o Sh. Sita Ram R/o village Bohrad  P.O & PS Nerwa Tehsil Chopal Distt Shimla A/P Sector-6, Phase-3 Lower Kangnadhar coming from BCS towards Phase-3 Kangandhar and when he checked on the doubt of having some illegal items with him. During checking 350 gram chars found in his possession.The is case is being  investigated by HC  Inder Singh  I/O  PS  New Shimla.

5.       During last 24 hours  236  vehicles were challaned  by shimla  police under MV Act. ,13 persons were challaned  under COTPA (Cigarette & other Tobacco act 2005).The total amount of compounding fee of challans under MV Act is rs. 32,800/-
