Crime Report on FEB. 08, 2019

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 31/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 07.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Krishan Lal, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 07.02.2019 at about 05-00 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on the road leading towards Cart Road from Ganj Bazar, one person namely Janak Bahadur Thapa S/o Sh. Daya Ram Thapa R/o 34/2, Annaj Mandi, Ganj Bazar, Shimla apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of Country liquor. The case is being investigated by SI Krishan Lal, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.  

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 32/19 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 07.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Ajeet Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 07.02.2019 at about 07-05 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on the road leading towards Kalibari from GPO, The Mall Shimla, one person namely Hasat Bahadur Thapa S/o Sh. Nane Thapa R/o Village Shatla, PO, Tehsil & PS- Paltra, District Deghlog, Anchal Beri Nepal A/P 34/2 Annaj Mandi, Ganj Bazar, Shimla, age 34 years  apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of Country liquor Marka Una No.1. The case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.  

3.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 05/19 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 07.02.2019 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hari Chand I/O PS Kotkhai alleging therein that during patrolling alongwith staff, 11 Bottles of Country liquor has been recovered from the shop of Shiv Raj Khatri at Panog Bus Stand. The case is being investigated by ASI Hari Chand, I/O PS Kotkhai.  

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 08/19 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 07.02.2019 U/S 279 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Sant Ram S/o Sh. Dhyan Singh R/o Village Sainj, PO Pandranu, Tehsil Jubbal, Shimla on 07.02.2019, one Alto Car No. HP10A-9538, which was coming from Teuni side, met with an accident near Pandranu due to rash & negligent driving of Rajinder Chantranta S/o Sh. Shadi Ram R/o Village Thana, PO Mandal, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla, age 40 years and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/C PP Sarswati Nagar, Shimla.  

5.     During last 24 hours 153 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 86 and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act.

FOLLOW-UP:

1. Accused Ram Lal S/o Sh. Dulla Ram R/o Village Lihat PO Sari Tehsil & PS Chopal, District Shimla, age 50 years, arrested in case FIR No. 132/18 Dt. 28.11.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Chopal, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
2. Accused Dharma S/o Lt. Sh. Kailash R/o  Jhuggi, near Bus Stand Murinda, Tehsil & District Roop Nagar, Punjab, age 27 years and two ladies, arrested in case FIR No. 29/19 Dt. 06.02.2019 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, Shimla,  are remanded in police custody upto 11.02.2019, by the Ld. Court.
3. Accused Chhabeel Dass S/o Sh. Gorkhu Ram R/o Village Mander, PO Baldeyan, Tehsil & District Shimla, age 40 years, arrested in case FIR No. 22/19 Dt. 06.02.2019 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, is being produced before the Ld. Court.
